"I had to give this place a (3) star due to the fact that they are lacking the flavor that other Chinese Restaurant has. I ordered the "Beef Ho Fun and Fried Donuts". I enjoyed the donuts but the beef noodles was lacking in flavor. I did appreciate that they had good beef on it but it seems that they skimp on the soy sauce/seasonings portion. For the price that I paid, it was not up to par with the product. I had better Beef Ho Fun from Li Wah (Downtown Cleveland) with a better price. Now, will I order in the future? Absolutely, I do still want to give their other menus a try but hoping that they vamp up the flavor/spice department otherwise I will definitely not be coming back."
"Every time I've been to this restaurant the food has been great. Wish it wasn't in the dungeon though!"

"If this place wasn't so close to my house I would stop coming here. Their food is, to me, fine when you want a quick Chinese meal. That said, these new owners are so completely unfriendly when you walk through the door they act like you're there to rob them. I'm giving you my business for pity's sake, can you be just a little bit gracious? Really, I don't want to interact with the woman at the counter anymore."
"Food was delicious service was fantastic. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants paella !!"
"What a fantastic dining experience. From the moment Joseph greeted us and seated us at a fantastic table, the pleasure was ours! Our server, Pam, was professional, friendly, and made our lunch seamless. We ordered both Lobster Bisque and clam chowder as our starters. Thankfully Pam gave us the choice of a cup or bowl. The cup of this luscious richness was enough to not spoil the mains. We ordered the swordfish salad, salmon on a plank, and a lobster roll. Each dish was perfection. A shared crème brûlée finished the meal. Every element was exceptional.I haven't mentioned the spectacular lake view! We visit Cleveland often (our son moved here from California) and Pier W has earned our love! We will return often! Reservations are recommended, and dress code is business casual. Thanks for the outstanding efforts!"
"We hadn't been there for quite a while and were pleasantly surprised at how good the food was and the special three course meals were priced below $20. I would definitely recommend giving Cafe 422 a try if you haven't been for awhile!"
"We absolutely love this place. Great food great beer and great mocktails for my pregnant wife. I love that they have a flight of 6 beers so you can get a good taste of the beer selection. The atmosphere is great, if you want to sit outside they have a great patio and comfortable inside seating as well. The service has always been great. We make the trek about 30-40 mins to come here several times because it is such a consistently great place to spend a date night"
"My wife and I needed a getaway! For a change we opted to sit at the bar. The bartender did not seem fully at ease, and I must say I never recalled anyone eating at the bar during our previous visits. That said, it was still a good overall experience! We started with adult beverages, a Manhattan for me and a Whisky Sour for my wife. Sitting at the bar, it's nice to watch the preparation. My wife really enjoyed her beverage and mine was pretty good. I only needed to remind the bartender to add bitters to my Manhattan. Unfortunately they did not have Angostura Bitters, only Orange. Oh well. We did not order any appetizers. My wife decided on their Chicken Strips with a Spinach Salad and Curled French Fries while I opted for their Fried Shrimp and Scallops, Rice Pilaf, and French Onion Soup. The soup was served along with my wife's salad. I thought the soup was very delicious! My wife's salad was fresh and the warm bacon dressing flavorful. Our main courses came out after we were finished with the firsts. My wife's chicken strips had a light cornmeal breading and the fries were really thick. My scallops and shrimp were fairly large with the same cornmeal breading. Very delicious! Overall a pretty good visit. We arrived about 1645 and departed about an hour later without seeing anyone else come in?"
"Not a bad steakhouse. Pretty nice and affordable and the service was really good. We had a large group and everything came out fairly quick"
"Navarro's Chophouse is newly opened in Grove City and I took a large group to taste the new menu. Located in the former Cannon's Chophouse location, the Navarros have offered a very accessible menu with juicy steaks, burgers and pastas all with a bit of Spanish and Latin American flavor added in. The restaurant itself is quite nice inside. Outside there is a covered patio with a fireplace perfect for dining alfresco while the weather is nice. The service is also fantastic even while new. Kudos for everyone handling our crowd of 20 with smiles!I enjoyed the 12 oz Sirloin which was very tender and cooked perfectly to temp. All of the appetizers were delicious - especially the Papas Bravas and Fried Green Tomatoes. I heartily recommend Navarro's - not just for a special occasion but also for a fun night out and tasty meal on a regular day."
"Got it delivered and it arrived really quickly!Food was GREAT! Got the chicken tikka masala which came with plain basmati rice. Chicken was insanely tender, not too spicy but a lot of flavor. Rice is a little stiff for my taste but I know that's sort of how it's supposed to be. Could've used even a tiny bit more spice! Also got the garlic naan which came with two big pieces. Could've been a tiny bit more garlicky, but again that's personal preference! It was very soft and perfect for dipping. Very large portions as well, have lots of leftovers which helps make the price more justified!"
"Finally got around to trying this place after years of driving by and saying that we needed to stop in. It was everything that I had hoped for and more. It's a great location in a cool old house. It's decorated nicely from what I saw. My husband and I sat at the bar to drool over the incredible whiskey selection so we didn't get to look around or check out the dining room. But let me get back to the bar and, let me tell you, it is such an incredible whiskey selection. They also charge very fair prices for pours. The bartenders were incredibly friendly- and so were some of the regulars that were sitting around the bar. My husband and I got a few pours and split an appetizer- the spinach and artichoke dip (which was good, not great) and the NY Strip Steak (which was excellent). The service was quick and efficient and I can't wait to go back again. Really enjoyed visiting this place."

Alright, this is a Chinese take out place. It is not the best food fair. However, the food is moderately decent to good. Interior needs a little TLC. There is seating if you want to dine in. I don't notice whenever I'm in that people opt to do that, but...you know. There is a large selection to choose from on the menu. The food is always made fresh and quickly for that matter. Also they do deliver and are very prompt. The dishes that are stir-fried seem to be the best tasting. The fried foods however, with the exception of the sweet and sour chicken, seem to taste very greasy and overdone at times. Monday-Friday, there is a buffet at $3.99/lb, which is good. Overall, this is a great place to go to grab a quick filling bite to eat.

I was with a colleague who has been a regular at this venue for many years. This was once an old jail. I actually met someone who remembers visiting the jail back in the '60's to sing to the inmates. It's been long converted to a restaurant. They also have a sister tavern next door which has outdoor seating and serves mainly bar food. We went downstairs to their bar where we ate and met up with my colleague's friendly waitress-- Carol. Our barmaid was Rachel. The 2 were fabulous for conversation and great pours on our drinks. My colleague ordered the Ribeye steak which he said was one of the best he'd had in a long time. Of the non steak items, Rachel suggested I order the salmon. I'm glad I did. It was also one of the best I'd had. Moist, tender and perfectly glazed. After dinner, we wandered upstairs where they have additional seating and banquet rooms. We also stumbled upon their bourbon bar. There's probably a story to that, but that's for another time. I'll be back on my return visit.

Their food, specifically fried rice, egg foo young, and wings, is always a great 'go to' dish. And they deliver without the ridiculous 'door dash' fees. Love their food.

Maybe it's Monday afternoon when they just opened or I came in on the wrong day but i left feeling disappointed. The price is on a steep side too as it is more towards fine dining. Overall, the service is quick and nice and presentation is unique. However, the food is very disappointing. We ordered the Flounder stuffed crab and seafood paella. It's the worst choice as the seafood was not fresh that day. Furthermore, the dish lacks flavor and authenticity. There is no physical dessert menu but the server will mention at the end of your meal. At that point, I do not trust the restaurant anymore.

Great date night for a special occasion. My boyfriend and I booked a reservation here for his birthday. We had to wait a little bit past our reservation time (10 minutes) to be seated, but we think it was so that we could be seated along the window, so we didn't mind waiting. The view was gorgeous and overlooks the city in the distance. We ordered the oysters, a steak, and the grouper (which was on special). Everything was delicious.

So my husband and I went to Cafe 422 for our Thanksgiving dinner yesterday. I have been going to this place since I lived in Warren back in the 1970's. If this had been my first visit I would never return!I was disappointed to say the least. Our fried mozzarella appetizer was wonderful, but the rest of the meal was sorely lacking. My wedding soup was mediocre, one lone meatball and the chicken was very dry. How you get dry chicken in soup is beyond me. When our meal came, I was surprised to see sauteed mixed veggies (not a fan) instead of the green beans, which, btw, the waitress never mentioned. The turkey was good, but my mashed potatoes were very grainy and the stuffing was horrible, like wet bread. I was also not happy with my dessert which was a very dry pumpkin cheesecake. Our waitress was either very tired from a long day or something because she was a space cadet! Never offered bread, took forever to bring the silverware, the list goes on. But she was very prompt with our check, lol I am usually not one to complain, but this was not a pleasant experience. We will go back there, because the food and service is normally wonderful. Hoping this was just due to a very busy place on a very busy day.

Love it! We tried several different things and a couple beers and everything was fantastic. The fries with bacon and gooey cheese was my fave. Nice environment. Everyone who works there is super nice. It is clean inside and not super busy on a weeknight. I like the large garage-style doors that open out into the daylight. It's still comfortable and cool inside, but having those doors opened doesn't make you feel so confined. We will 100% come back here.

"Great little restaurant with good selection. Prices are great and the portions are big. Meat omelette with jalapeños was fantastic and my wife loved the Reuben.Great spot on Sunday AM when all of the other spots were closed or had 20 minute waits. Open tables and seated immediately."
"The ambiance is like that of a dimly lit, fancy, but cozy date night. If you're looking to try their happy hour you need to get there right when they open because it fills up fast. We had a dinner reservation for five and service was excellent. They started us off with fresh bread and a tasty oil to dip into. Then we all ordered something different to test out. I got two sides - the veal tortellini in a parmesan cream sauce, and sautéed escarole with beans and sausage. Both were delicious and big portions. For dessert we also got a variety, and I would recommend the cheesecake. It was so light and a wonderful end to our evening. This place is pricey, so be prepared to spend your dough. But I thought it was worth it. Also the name is now Acqua Di Dea for some reason."
"Chef, and the entire kitchen staff, continue to kill it. If you get a chance, 100% consider participating in a 'Chef's Tasting' dinner. You will *not* be disappointed."
"Went here on a weekday night. My family had gone twice before, but this was my first time. Be warned there isn't much for a vegetarian and nothing for a vegan, but it's a steakhouse so no surprise there. The normal dinners on the back of the menu are served with salad, rolls with honey butter, and a choice of potato. I had a portobello mushroom sandwhich with mushrooms, but stole some salad and bread from my family. Be aware the salad comes with bacon normally. The sandwhich and fries needed some seasoning in my opinion. I ended up taking half home so I'll try playing around with seasoning on the burger. The fries had some seasoning, but not much. My family liked their steak and potatoes. One liked his portobello chicken while another felt his was very chewy and rubbery so he didn't finish it. The decor is kind of like a bar, and there is an actual bar as well. Servoce was good with a friendly server, good times, and lots of parking. Overall it was a nice night out."
"BEST FRIED CATFISH IN THE CLEVELAND AREA!!!!So we found this restaurant because the chef works a catering event for my family And we Found out he had a restaurant. This is a family owned restaurant being ran by the head chef and his beautiful partner. Let me tell you something .... this Catfish was some of the best Catfish I have ever had. And because I know there is a possibility Of a better fish out there....I can't say it's the Best catfish in the world. But it's up there!!!! These people really know what they're doing in the kitchen. The chicken wings were amazing as well and they served it with something called 24 Carrot gold sauce!!!! TO DIE FOR. We also ordered the zucchini sticks, which were perfectly battered. Not too heavy, jpNot too light and very crispy. If you are in the Cleveland area, I'm looking for some amazing soul food, check them out.!!!!!!!!!!!!Customer service was a 10/10 Quality 10/10Ambiance - Clean and a room to dine in"
"I can't believe there aren't more reviews of this spot! I'm so glad we have a carry out seafood restaurant in North Olmsted. Every time I go here my food is always fresh and hot because they make everything to order. My favorite is the perch dinner (fried hard please LOL). The restaurant itself is no frills and is always clean. Another sure bet is the catfish, it's sooooo good! I hope they never close!"
"This place seems to be consistent the 4 times I have been there. The location has potential to be awesome, although do feel they need too addMore tables and less booths. On to the food, the food is good and large portions. The Beer-tomato-hot sauce concoction, which I believe is the Michecleada ( spelling is wrong for sure) is amazing! One last thing on the location, because it is in a mall they should have one or two designated spots for pick up orders."
"Being from Arizona, we love the food at Las Margaritas! It reminds us of home, minus the late night hours They are generous with the protein, unlike most food establishments. My tacos were LOADED with shrimp. I was also excited to see that they serve Elote! It was so good! I'm a pescatarian, so it's nice to see that they have vegan chorizo for if I want a basic taco. I saw in another review that the beans are not vegan, so I'll be avoiding those. I hope during the holidays they will release more varieties of tamales like green chili and cheese. My fiancée said his tamale was amazing! We will be repeat customers."
"It was a fantastic experience on a Thursday night, superb service and great food. We had a birthday party, the owners came out, greeted us and treated us very generously."
"Amazing food and even better customer service! Love the family style all you can meat crab legs! Was a hit with the family!"
"I visit Akron often to hang with my brother. He picked this place because it is a go to for a neural friend. She is vegetarian and gets the veggie past dish - huge portions! Huge! So let's go...Prices are decent for the portion sizes, come on they are huge. Pasta, ribs and chicken dishes are the winners. The side veggie egg rolls not so much. Don't order them if you are expecting $15 egg rolls because that is not what you will get. The bread is fresh and warm, so good! The oil dipping sauce is tasty as well. The service was great, very attentive. The mixed cocktails were excellent. When you think golf course, you have to remember this is Akron and this place is on the edge of a neighborhood. It was nice enough for the enjoyable dinner we had for decent prices. Again the service was on point and the cocktails rocked. Bonus for having vegetarian options. I look forward to returning and enjoying the patio that over looks the golf course. They also set up a few weekly events so be prepared to see an artist preform on a random night."
"After moving back to the Toledo area I am most excited to have Rosie's in my life again! This place always has a great happy hour, fantastic food and the service is always amazing. We have yet to eat here since we've been back, but we've order take out a couple times and the food is always hot and the hostess staff is always so nice. The goat cheese chicken is a MUST TRY if you like goat cheese. The flavor is unreal!"
"Our family always has a great time dining here. Fast, friendly, and affordable service. Definitely on our monthly dining list! I would also like to mention we are pretty picky, they always deliver!"
"In general, I've been disappointed by Cleveland's Chinese food since coming here, however, Li Wah has been the one exception! You _have_ to go to Yum Cha--if you have no experience with Yum Cha, they have a video online to help you out, but, pretty much, servers walk around with carts and ask you if you want certain food items. Context: I'm Chinese American who speaks no Cantonese/Mandarin, so, if you're worried about it, take it from me that you only need English to get by here!"
"First visit here. Good space with lots of tables and small bar. Waitress was friendly and accommodating for our need to have a quick bite to eat. Great selection of beers and a full bar. Had the smoked wings and 41 burger. Wings were meaty and had a great flavor. If you like smoked food, this is a must try. The burger was delicious. Fresh with great toppings and excellent flavor. Various local cheeses to select from. Reasonable prices. Good service. Will be back when we can spend more time."
"I was extremely impressed with this restaurant. We had a pizza, the sweet pea gnocchi and the fish special and all three of them were bursting with flavor. Additionally, I'm gluten free and the pizza crust and the gnocchi were gluten free and homemade. I watched the gnocchi being made fresh through the window. It was honestly some of the best pasta I've ever had. I will say, service was slow, but we weren't in a hurry so we weren't bothered by it. Will definitely be going back."
"Delicious burger with super onion rings, though not house made. Wife's French Dip sandwich was excellent, very good bread and quality ingredients. Ice cold Modelo on tap was a real plus! Server was very attentive and accommodating, with being bothersome. My wife, in particular, enjoyed the atmosphere which had a strong neighborhood bar vibe, without being divey, and very clean, a real positive attribute for my wife."
"I will always root for Lorain. While I didn't grow up here, I've always thought there was so much potential to make this a premier lakeside entertainment destination. The downtown area has long lacked a quality dining experience to draw people to the lakeshore. The Boiler Room looks every bit the part of the kind of place to bring a younger crowd into Lorain. The aesthetic definitely captures the industrial roots of the city built on steel and lake water. Our server, Holly, was very attentive and exceptionally apologetic in breaking the bad news of their empty Oktoberfest keg. We substituted said Oktoberfests for the Shipyards own Strawberry Wheat, which would be exceptionally refreshing on a summer patio, and the local Bascule Brewery Sweet Potato seasonal. I love local restaurants supporting another local brewery. I also tried the Shipyards Pilsner, which packed a little more flavor than a standard Pilsner with floral notes. The food was good, not great. The Walleye filet was exceptional in size, but mediocre in flavor. While the fish itself was well cooked and perfectly moist, the batter lacked flavor of any sort. I will say that I've likely had better tater tots in my life, but I can't remember when. The Chicken BLT was highlighted by its pretzel. The chicken itself, like the walleye, was perfectly cooked though lacked seasoning. You should judge a restaurant's bathroom quality in near the same regard as its food quality. A clean and well decorated bathroom indicates attention to detail, which is obviously vital to the success of any business. The Boiler Room checks this box with authority. The restroom is decorated just as tastefully as the dining space, and I appreciate that more than they know.I'll definitely be back, though I'll be exploring the menu more."
"Great restaurant in the heart of Coventry. The menus great but we go fir the best lo menu in the area. (We order pork lo mein.) it's good enough to pull us there when visiting one of the downtown museums. Or just a lo mein road trip. The best. Other favorites include egg foo yung, orange beef and hot & sour soup. Staff is friendly and food is quickly prepared. Just a nice place for a lunch on a weekend."
"Love the shrimp lo mien. Great portion sizes. I also like the their egg rolls Which are delicious. A great choice for Chinese food."
"Good service, timely orders. I liked the ambience, the menu is quite large with friendly atmosphere."
"For the money, it is a great value. The food is fresh and solid. We enjoyed the food both times. The second time, we were given some really marginal egg foo young where large pieces were inedibly overcooked. Must try:- egg drop soup- extra spicy orange chicken. This is the best orange chicken I've had in recent. Bright citrusy and tangy. - sweet and sour chicken. Often ruined by ratios of batter to bad chicken, the batter to chicken ratio was spot on and the sauce and chicken were fresh. Avoid (like the plague):- Egg Foo Young (see pic); served rather questionable food. Quality ingredients good, contents good, but burnt to the point it should not have been served. One of the three was so burned, the majority I found debatably fit for my dog. The accompanied gravy was good. While potentially biased by some raging hunger, the egg roll was spot on... The second time, they took a good bit of time for a takeout order of 3 meals and some appetizers (~40min). It was all very fresh in their defense."
"We desperately needed a spot like this in the area. Elevated, smaller menu, trendier vibe but still welcoming to all. The food is always fresh, the staff is helpful, and it's a great place to bring friends or just sit at the bar by yourself. Menu staples like the burger or the NOLA shrimp are always good, I love the rotating oysters, and my husband and I agreed they have the best cocktails in town. The menu changes often - some of my recent favorites are the springtime gnocchi, scallops, the caviar and chips app. Thankfully you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Even their little side salad is a favorite of mine! I've made it a habit to come once a week, but if you haven't been before - get there early! Because the food is fresh, sometimes they run out later in the evening."
