"Four stars and not five because our waitress was not attentive and the service was poor. But the food was delicious and the place itself was wonderful."
"Very limited beer selection for a pub, comfort food served. The best part of the pub is you can sit outside beside the fountain pond overlooking the golf course. I like the draft beer better than the Great Lakes bottled beer."
This one put us on the map! Southern style smoked pork, piled on a Split Top Brioche and served with BBQ sauce on the side. Pile on slaw for a Carolina treat.

"Stopped here randomly on the way to somewhere else for a late lunch on a Saturday. It wasn't very busy and we got to sit right away. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I had the fish and chips which was fresh cod and perfectly beer-battered and cooked. The house chips were good, but the onion dip they made was phenomenal. Cole slaw was okay. My wife has the Rueben sandwich was also amazing. And our nephew had chicken fingers which had a nice peppery batter. All good. But the best part was the Irish Cream Cake. It was a secret family recipe and I totally see why they keep it a secret. It would definitely draw me back here. Moist cake, chocolate syrup and a gooey center that was to die for! If I was ever passing through this town again, I would definitely stop here to eat again."
"We just had our second to go order from here, and it was just as amazing as the first time. It came steaming hot and everything was excellent. I had the hot sausage sandwich which was incredible. I cannot give this place enough praise, every time we get food from there it's spectacular"
"Hands down the best wings in Venango County. Crispy, big, and flavorful sauces. I recommend the "Sweet Fire" for it's sweet, vinegary, sticky, spicy flavor and "The Nickels" nickel sauce is nuclear and butter and garlic tossed together, amazing and not that spicy either. Take-out or dine-in Foxtales is always a winner.Only negative is they allow smoking."
"good food nice prices. casual environment with a small town vibe. Great service and very clean. good for groups even with kids. they are very accommodating."
"I live in the Bliss and am proud to call this my local. Reasonably priced drinks, great service and really excellent lunch and dinner on their limited menu. What they do they do well!"
"Great staff. Fair prices. Nice bar to go anytime during the day and night. Pizza Sunday is a great deal for bar pizza."
"Went here again last night for 25 cent wing night (Tuesdays) and cannot even express how delicious the wings are! Crispy, hot, tons of flavor! You guys have to try out this hidden gem!"
"Not coming back here. My wife and I have been coming here for years, but the convenience fee is ridiculous. 3% convenience fee is totally ridiculous. When I go to target or Walmart, they don't charge me a convenience fee. Why does a restaurant have to charge me a convenience fee for using credit card? The last time I will be coming here."
"What a find! We were in the area, and this place popped up. Very unassuming front. You walk into a pool table which we don't see very often anymore. The feel is a real neighborhood place. The bar was full at 4:00 on a Friday with people that look like regulars. Booths line the opposite wall. There's a patio out back. We both got the "smothered chicken dinner". - grilled chicken smothered in grilled onions and provolone cheese. It came with broccoli (fresh) cooked perfectly, and a baked potato or tater tots. We got one of each. The chicken was cooked well, the baked potato was great and the tots were awesome! (Not as greasy as another place in town that serves them). The waitress was great in taking care of our special requests - no cheese on one chicken, lemon for the broccoli and butter AND sour cream for the potato. The prices can't be beat - we got out of there for $17 (not including the $1.75 beers)! We're definitely coming back! Oh! Good music (on jukebox) too!"
"Fun place, friendly people. Nice choices for libations as well. The oyster event was a lot of fun!"

What a great restaurant. Great food with flavor! We followed the young servers recommendations and if paid off! Truffle fries were and added bonus. Sure it was on the loud side yet great patrons and fun atmosphere. We are in our mid 50's too and loved it. Thank you

On cold crisp Applefest nights I swear the population of Franklin sweeps into this tiny bar to fill it to capacity. Once a year I return to sit out back and enjoy the company of my friends. Foxtales is a bar that serves food, not a restaurant that serves alcohol. It's an important distinction to understand because there will be no servers to ensure you have endless drinks or people to take your order. If you want to consume you need to go to the bar where the fastidious bartenders will jot your order down. If you're there on a busy night be sure to be ready to order. They don't have time for decisions to be pondered. Smoking is not only allowed, but regularly done. If you're sensitive to smoke Foxtales may not be the place for you. Cigarette and cigar smoke can easily tint the air blue inside with a good crowd of people. Since I am sensitive to cigar and cigarette smoke I escape outside to their enclosed patio area where there are several tables. While it is not a covered patio, each table has a large umbrella to blot out the sun or keep a fine drizzle of rain at bay. They are not waterproof, so they will not protect against a downpour. But who really cares on a warm evening if the rain comes? Foxtales serves strong drinks and delicious food. Their cheeseburgers are hearty and huge! They do not skimp on the chips either. Their food is served hot, and their drinks stiff. Until next year!

What a cool spot! Definitely worth checking out. Hands down one of the best burgers I've ever had with Guinness Cheese. We loved sitting out on the patio

I really liked this downtown establishment. More of a bar atmosphere, but the food was surprisingly good. The wait staff was very nice and we had a great experience!

Nice crowd in this comfortable establishment. I have to agree with the previous review on the Guiness Onion Soup, what a great flavor and made from scratch. My stuffed burger was just how you want a juicy burger to be and complimented by nice crispy but not too crispy onion rings....oh yeah

"This was a nice find on our road trip through OH. The looks on the outside is deceiving but inside it's a little gem. The menu is surprisingly varied. The service was excellent and the waitress was very knowledgeable about gluten free options. No cocktail menu but they have a pretty decent selection of bourbon at the bar. The brussel sprouts are tasty! Hubs had the turkey panini and I had the beet and candied walnut salad. I really liked my salad! Hubs said panini was okay but the fries were really good and crispy."
"Very casual. Wasn't sure about going in but the place was crowded. The food was great we had pizza and wings. It was reasonably priced"
"Great little bar with good service and food. We enjoyed our wings and fries. We'll definitely come back to try more food and drinks. This first visit was a short one as we were bar hopping down detroit road."
"Celebrated my co-workers retirement! Delicious pizza, hot and fresh! Lemon drop martini was delicious and extremely smooth! Great atmosphere fast service and great friends. Will certainly visit again!"
"I wish we would have taken photos of the food. First time here and we will be repeat customers. The experience was bar none and even the owner checked in on us multiple times! Great prices, great food, great happy hour specials and great atmosphere! We can't wait to go back!"
"If you're over 35 and in the Valley, this is the place for you simply because you'll feel young instead of old in the other bars. Avg age on a weekend night is 45+... but the music is good and the drinks are reasonable. Good regular/dive bar."
"Really enjoyed this place before a show at the Huntington Center. Great waitress with recommendations that actually were good. Had a Reuben and fish and chips and some fried pickles. Inside decor wasn't overly Irish but enough to call it an Irish pub. Will definitely visit when going to a Mid Hens game or at the next HC event."
"Great place for a drink and some food. My wife and I stopped for a quick lunch and drink. It was towards the end of their lunch time, but had no problems submitting our order. My wife had one of their lemonade specials and I had a Guinness. I can't speak for the lemonade (my wife said it was good), but I have to say, they know how to pour a proper Guinness! Our lunch came out quickly and was delicious! We will definitely be back again!"
"They are re modeling and going to open Duck Pin Bowling. They will have outside seating this summer also."
"Great place for drinks and food! I like the mushroom and swiss burger, fries, applesauce and some other choices too. Great menu, cheap and always fun."
"Spending a couple of days in the area and found this wonderful place. Reminded me of a pub in Ireland or England. You walk into the bottom floor like basement and into low wood ceilings just like a pub. The place was full on Thursday night and we sat at a table near the bar. Not a lot of room but that just got us talking to the locals and the bartender. The paninis were big and very good, nice beers on tap. Great service. What is even more impressive is every one there was so welcoming and nice and conversational if you wanted them to be. If I lived near here, I would be a constant visitor"
"PJ McIntyres is our go-to spot in our neighborhood. They are pretty consistent with quality, service, pricing, portion. We also get take out quite often. I love their Irish Reuben egg rolls! The California sandwich is very good too. If you get the homemade chips as a side, order a side of the onion dip too- fantastic!Great menu, lots of delicious food to choose from. The ambiance is what makes this my favorite. The fireplace keeps it cozy, trivia and events keep it friendly. The bar is always bustling with new friends to meet."
"Good atmosphere and great food! The service is always great! As a smoker I wish they would go smoking lol. But they are a fantastic asablesmet!"
"Their daily specials make this dive worthy to add to ur list. Their burger is great on monday cheap burger day (and handcut fries with that are worthy if the vinegar on the table, well done guys). The $10 strip steak on thursday was far below prime and would question its quality if it werent $10 and served with 2 sides!?! If ur looking for a value u cant beat that. Their salad was very good with mixed greens and tomato etc and ranch. I went with the fries because, did i mention they are handcut fresh and freaking good!?!? LolRemember. Its a dive bar. But i have been in 3x for the lunch specials and i will be back again for sure."
"A drinking establishment with great burgers and friendly service. We're from out of town, but the locals made us feel at home. Will be back!"
"I've been the mugs a few times. They have a great patio, especially in the evenings when it's cool in the summer. The staff is friendly and fairly attentive. They offer good selection of items on their menu. I like their double cheeseburger with crispy tater tots.I also like their Philly cheesesteak with lots of mushrooms, and of course, crispy tater tots. It's not a bad place to go have a burger and beer. My wife and I have enjoyed more than one evening there. So check it out if you Mentor"
"Favorite dive bar in lakewood. It's just a great little hole in the wall with a small outdoor patio. It's really clean which is very refreshing for a dive bar. The prices are incredible! You can easily pick up the happy hour tab for a group of friends for $10 easily."
"It's a dive bar and it's good at that. Smoking patio for the smokers. They have pool and darts. A good local spot. Beers are cheap. And if you go order a shot called "little beer". It's like vanilla ice cream but several will put you on your rear! Enjoy!!"
"Under a new owner...again. However, in this case it's not a bad thing! Every time I visit the cafe the staff is very friendly courteous. No matter how busy it gets I am never waiting more than a couple minutes on drinks. The prices are also very reasonable..especially for strongsville. It's not a fancy bar it's just a classic town gem."
"Would you eat a Reuben on a pretzel bun or does it have to be rye?If you find yourself in Amish country on a Sunday when nothing is open, head to Millersburg and eat at Bag's Sports Pub.Bag's Sports Pub has a Reuben that is to die for. Smoked Angus corned beef, Thousand Island dressing, Swiss cheese and grilled sauerkraut on a grilled pretzel bun. You can also choose rye, white, or multigrain bread. This sandwich has changed my mind about Reubens. The smoked corned beef smelled so good and tasted out-of-this-world delicious. We also ordered the ribs & wing combo which wasn't any good and I can't recommend it. The bbq sauce was watery, tasted cheap and lacked flavor. The ribs were tender but were not flavorful at all. The boneless wings were terrible. They were dry, flavorless and freezer burned. Yuck! The onion rings were also terrible. The chips tasted oId and stale and the dip was literally a horseradish dip that didn't go well with the chips. I am not one to leave food on my plate and if I do I take it home. This food unfortunately wasn't worth eating or taking home. The food took way longer than it should have and they were out of too many things which limited our ability to order things.Overall I would highly recommend the Reuben sandwich but be prepared to wait a long time to get it.@ohiofoodlover"
"Formerly "DeCillos" which was dark and dreary neighborhood bar. The new owners painted the inside so it is lighter and brighter they added much needed decor. During a winter snow storm, we pulled into this restaurant to get a reprieve from the cold. We sat at the bar (and we froze every time the front door opened. The bartender (female, long light brown hair) was excellent. She was very attentive and offered suggestions from the menu. I had a black and blue burger, which I thought was good. The only suggestion would be to smash the burger a little bit. The meat was very thick and perfectly round which is fine but I just like things a little less perfect so a Smashburger would've been a great idea. We will definitely go back because of the Bartender, the service, and the convenient location. The upgrades are much appreciated. SUGGESTION FOR THE OWNER: PLEASE put a heater/blower between the front 2 doors."
"I was greeted right away. Very friendly service. Food came out quickly and was delicious. The crust was very thin and the toppings were over an above the normal. Highly recommend this restaurant when you are in the area."
"Great food, great atmosphere, great staff, great owners. Everyone is very friendly. The owners are vibrant and always make everyone feel welcome and just like you're family. They are improving the place adding new signs, painting, new taps, etc. The food is always great. Lots of good daily specials and monthly burger specials. Love the prime rib on the weekends. The best in Fremont! Also the stuffed tilapia and chicken chunks, burgers and sandwiches are always very good."
