"Nice variety on the menu...flatbread pizzas, burgers, wings, gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches, salads, and wraps. I appreciated the healthier options and I was surprised by the creativity of the ingredients. Not your average bar food. The hubs got the ribs but didn't like them saying they were mushy. I thought my crispy chicken wrap was excellent, and the artichoke pizza was unique and tasty. We also got the 1 pound meatball and it was surprisingly good! Crispy on the outside and moist on the inside....I could do with less cheese and more sauce though. My friend said his Cuban sandwich was just okay and would have been better with shaved ham instead of "Easter ham." We'll be back to check out the live music scene this summer and try some different things on the menu!"

"We stop by this place often on the way to our cabin. The food and atmosphere is very good! They have a full bar and offer a wide variety of food choices. Pizzas, burgers, sandwiches, seafood and steaks! They also offer daily specials for each day of the week which are all appetizing. You can't go wrong with the pizza! It's always a hit! They also offer a great kids menu with lots of choices. The service can be a bit slow at times due to short staff, which lefts face it, that is an issue with most places anymore. So go and enjoy yourself, relax and enjoy great food!"

"I've seen a lot of amazing reviews for this spot... and they're all very well deserved. Pizza Booyah sells, hands down, the best sandwich I've ever had. One of my favorite places to rave about locally! They have really thick bread. Kind of reminds me of the Panera baguettes? So don't be too eager. Or be. You've just been warned. I have ONLY ordered the turkey sub. Why? Because it blows my mind every time. For being lactose intolerant, the cheese amount is excessive but like, in a good way. I will gladly take a Lactaid every time. Also very pleased by the veggie selection and customization options! And the sauce, WOW. Inside they also have a great selection of chips, pop and more. I hear the pizzas are great too - just can't get myself to order them when the subs are so good! The workers are so kind and the orders are always speedy and accurate. I can't praise this place enough!"

"Ive grown up on Gioninos Pizza. I know they're franchised but damn are they all pretty consistent. Their pizza is probably my favorite. We were surprised by how long takeout took and actually went home for a little bit. "This place really disappointed me. I haven't had their pizza in years and I had a BOGO coupon so I thought I would try it again. I always liked their pizza when I had it before.So I went online to check out their menu. I found the menu but they had no prices at all on there. They also didn't have online ordering but that wasn't too big of a deal. Delivery took about 50 minutes which was a little slow but not too bad. My wife loves the taco pizza so we ordered that and a 1-topping pizza (sausage). I know that 1-topping pizzas are not packed with a ton of flavor but I was disappointed because it was just mediocre. The taco pizza was good, but I'm a more traditional pizza guy so I wasn't too excited about that. My wife had no complaints. When I think of pizza chains, I used to think of East of Chicago as one of my favorites, but after my recent experience, I think it just falls somewhere in the middle."

"My friend and I were walking in Tremont after on a waiting list to eat at Southside. We came across a pretty patio area with people dining at and we wanted to see which place it was. We discovered it was Dante Next Door, literally next door to Dante. Clever. This place is strictly a brunch place while Dante is a dinner spot. Upon walking in there was a nice bar area and seating inside with lots of space. We decided to sit outside since it was such a beautiful day. Lucky for us, a couple just got up so the wait was short. They walk you through Dante's dining area, very fancy and spacious, and take you through the back past the kitchen to the patio area. Beautiful stone patio with about 5 tables. I liked the chairs which kinda spring back and you can rock. A young girl pored is some water while we waited for our server. The menu sounded amazing! Everything on it. I wanted one of everything. I decided on the vegetarian Benedict with comes with artichokes avocado tomato (I wanted mine without this) and greens with a perfectly poached egg and light amount of hollandaise sauce (which I appreciated, I don't like it drowning in sauce) all on top of a toasted English muffin. It comes with a lightly dressed side salad. The duck fat potatoes on the menu intrigued me and I am a carb whore so I needed to order a side of those. They were perfectly crisp and not oily. It came with a sauce but it was too spicy for my taste. They were good just on their own. My friend ordered the special of the day which was a vegetable omelette, loaded with vegetables it was. He added a side of blueberry sausage but I don't eat much meat so I declined a taste. It had blueberries inside and a blueberry topping. He also ordered the orange marmalade pancakes. oh my god. These were so damn good. With the whipped cream on top it was fantastic. Highly recommend this.The menu is a little pricey but you do get your money's worth. Beautiful presentation and high quality ingredients. Service was quick and pleasant. I really have no complaints about the place or the food. Everything was fantastic and I'm glad we came upon the cute spot. I will definitely be back again! Check it out, you won't regret it!"

"This place is obviously a favorite of the locals. There were a lot of greetings to regular patrons. We were seated in the bar area. Dim lighting and fun lamps made the ambiance very pleasant. Our server was a lovely young lady who was about to go to college at UM. We had shish kebab, chicken skewer, grape leaves, arayes, hummus, pita, and olives. The food was the best Lebanese I have had in years. My husband had a wonderful intro to this cuisine. We also had baklava and Turkish coffee. I will return here often during my three month stay in Toledo."

"My parents first went to J and G's 47 years ago and we grew up eating here (always a family favorite). I moved away and went back to Toledo this weekend for the first time in 10 years. It's amazing that J & Gs has not changed one iota. Same menus. Same wallpaper. Same everything... including the fantastic food. We had the pizza (cut into squares) that has a super thin crust. The gyros here is literally the best I've had in the country. And the spaghetti is also great. Can't say enough about this place but you gotta love a joint that shows this much consistency for 5 decades. It's the opposite of fancy but if you want a taste of Toledo, hit J & Gs for sure!!"

"I am not a fan of Antonio's, but it's been a couple of years since my last visit and I've been on the lookout for the best fried chicken, so I'm checking out all of the local establishments and giving their offerings a try. Antonio's does often mail out coupons and you can get a four piece mixed fried chicken dinner with jojo's and coleslaw for $8.99.Things did not start out well. I called to place my order and at the end of the call I was put on hold then a new person answered wanting me to repeat everything because the prior person was doing deliveries and didn't enter my order. Then I was hung up on, accidentally? I called back and finally got my order placed, but when I showed up they only put in the chicken, not the chicken dinner. To be fair, they seemed super busy and the manager did do what he could to make things right which I appreciate. As for the meal, you get four huge jojo's and I like how coleslaw is included to balance out all of the fried stuff you're eating. The skin was not crunchy like I prefer, and I thought the breading was a bit salty, but honestly this is a me problem. I avoid salt when I can so when it is included in food the taste does come across strong to me. I'm sure others would not find the same issue. The chicken itself was good and moist. I am still on the hunt for the best fried chicken, but I encourage you to try out Antonio's yourself and form your own opinion. You might really enjoy them!"
