"Four stars and not five because our waitress was not attentive and the service was poor. But the food was delicious and the place itself was wonderful."
"What a great restaurant! the food was amazing and the serving size was so big! Family of 4 adults at for less than 55. The staff and patrons were so friendly And made us feel welcomed. Coming from Cleveland Ohio something we aren't used to lol. Definitely will be coming back. Don't pass this restaurant up!"

"What a fantastic dining experience. From the moment Joseph greeted us and seated us at a fantastic table, the pleasure was ours! Our server, Pam, was professional, friendly, and made our lunch seamless. We ordered both Lobster Bisque and clam chowder as our starters. Thankfully Pam gave us the choice of a cup or bowl. The cup of this luscious richness was enough to not spoil the mains. We ordered the swordfish salad, salmon on a plank, and a lobster roll. Each dish was perfection. A shared crème brûlée finished the meal. Every element was exceptional.I haven't mentioned the spectacular lake view! We visit Cleveland often (our son moved here from California) and Pier W has earned our love! We will return often! Reservations are recommended, and dress code is business casual. Thanks for the outstanding efforts!"
"Met here for the Christmas light trolley. Parking - easy to park at the lot next to the building or on the street. Drinks - they had a great selection of beer and alcoholSpace - large and divided into 2 sections. With a bar on one side and the brewery and seating on the other. Lots of bathrooms as well."
"Stopped by patio before an Indians game. There's not much service, you need to wait at the bar and get someone's attention. Once we were served however the bartender was very good. We ordered the nachos, nice and crispy but they came with very little taco meat. The salsa and cheese topping or cold, so it didn't do much for the warmth of the meat. But it's super convenient to walk to the Indians game. And the staff were very nice."
"Amazing. Ok so I will admit it, I had been drinking before I had the Touch. Heavily that is, but it doesn't matter. This is legit in whatever state your body is in. I had the Asian style taco and a braised beef taco. I really liked the smokey beef taco and its simple tastes were just the thing I needed that night. BUT the Asian style taco was mind blowing. Like hey, there is my mind, then BAM, blown away. It was that good. It was salty and sweet with a little kick from the sauce they put on. It was amazing, plain and simple. I want it again so bad I am contemplating the drive as I type thi..."
"Visiting GOTL for a long weekend and this was one of our group's top meals! We picked Halcyon because one of my friends was looking for a gluten free option, and they have GF pasta. The restaurant is located in the Old Harbor district, with some street parking and a couple of public lots. It has a really cool vibe with board games scattered around and both indoor and outdoor seating. We didn't order drinks, but the drink menu was very creative and looked good!I had a Caesar salad with grilled salmon, and it was so good. A couple of fun additions to a normal Caesar were crispy brussles, some red onion, and spring mix rather than romaine. The salmon was well cooked, and I had a large portion! Very good! I also ordered a side of the garlic parm fries, because, balance. They were delicious! The fries were thick cut with crispy edges, super generous parm and parsley, and a wonderful garlic dipping sauce. Recommend."
"Cool place with great atmosphere. I absolutely loved the berry bliss salad without the pickled onions. The bowl was chilled and the ingredients were very fresh. The smoked Gouda risotto is one of the best things I've had in a long time. Just outstanding food and service. I'll be back."
"Haven't been here in a while. Had breakfast. Still the same great food. My favorite is the Old Fashioned--two eggs, bacon or sausage, two slices of toast, a generous portion of hash potatoes. Love it. They've gone to disposable cups, plates and utensils which is a little disappointing, but the food is very, very good and reasonably priced. Recommended!"
"One of very favorite spots here in Aurora! Quaint inside and out. While the parking situation could be improved, the wait staff and the great food make up for it! Just love Mad Jacks!!"
"I love the location and ambiance. It's set up well and very clean. Food is good, some a little pricey, but worth it. Helpful and friendly service."
"This restaurant is located in an area where there is not many dining options. It has a large dining area, but is not the cleanest joint. The both was a little dirty and there were a few gnats flying around. They have a decent sized parking lot and they have dining in, drive through and carry out available. The staff there is friendly and the menu was packed with typical diner food like burgers, salads, sandwiches, soups, and a full array of breakfast foods. I found their pick 4 breakfast special intriguing and very economical and went with that. I got the french toast, with potatoes and bacon. The food was adequate, not bad. I had better and I had worse. It did not take long for them to bring my food out either, about 10-15 minutes for my entire group and it was hot and fresh.Well, this place was ok. Its upside is that is very cost effective, especially for a family dining outing and there is probably only 2 other restaurants in the area."

What a great restaurant. Great food with flavor! We followed the young servers recommendations and if paid off! Truffle fries were and added bonus. Sure it was on the loud side yet great patrons and fun atmosphere. We are in our mid 50's too and loved it. Thank you

Great date night for a special occasion. My boyfriend and I booked a reservation here for his birthday. We had to wait a little bit past our reservation time (10 minutes) to be seated, but we think it was so that we could be seated along the window, so we didn't mind waiting. The view was gorgeous and overlooks the city in the distance. We ordered the oysters, a steak, and the grouper (which was on special). Everything was delicious.

Terrestrial has a dog-friendly, laid-back atmosphere with spacious indoor and outdoor seating and a live band! I came by for some much needed sustenance with a group of friends after spending time playing beach volleyball at Whiskey Island - just a short drive away. We relaxed on the patio outside over burgers and beers. The menu had all your classic bar snacks (pierogis, pretzels, brussels) and a selection of large plates (max & cheese, burgers/sandwiches). I had the fried chicken sandwich, which was delicious. The chicken was so juicy and had a lot of flavor. There was a tangy and spicy kick from the pickled peppers too! The waffle fries that came with it were nice and crispy. The meal hit the spot. Overall, we had a great time. Free street parking is plentiful in the front. The staff members were all very energetic. I would definitely recommend this spot for any gathering with friends over good food and beer. It's particularly convenient if you wanted to get food after a day out at Edgewater park or Whiskey Island!

My friends and I shared the pierogis. The caramelized onions were super tasty, and the scallion cream added a nice fresh touch. The pierogis themselves were plump and had a great doughy chew. I know that it's not traditional, but the smoked mozzarella filling was super tasty. The rest of their menu looked awesome, too, but we were alas on our way out from dinner.

Harbor Halcyon wasn't that large of a restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised we were able to be seated quickly. I had recently started a gluten free diet before visiting and I'm usually a little disappointed with my options. At Harbor Halcyon I ordered the Mushroom Swiss burger with sautéed mushrooms, Swiss cheese, rosemary aioli, field greens on a gluten free bun. As well as a side of mac and cheese with gluten free noodles. Everything was delicious! So far I've found gluten free buns to have an odd texture which was not present in the gluten free bun I had at Harbor Halcyon. Also the mac and cheese was great. I really considered requesting a second order to go.Also our server was super friendly and likable. I wish I could remember her name to give her a shout out on here. Anyway I'm returning to Geneva-on-the-lake in a month and will definitely revisit to Harbor Halcyon.

The ambiance is great. They did an incredible job in remodeling this restaurant from what it was before. The interior is beautiful. I forget the name of my server, but the service was great. The food was good. I liked the dry aged steak. I got the bone marrow as an appetizer. It was a small bone, not much marrow. The oysters were small and not really that appetizing. I would say keep an eye on the prices of what your ordering or you may be in for a surprise when the bill comes.

"Came here for my friends birthday this time and it was, again, delicious! We got a pizza and burger to share!! The short bread pizza was so yummy!! You kind of get a steak for cheaper in my eyes... right? either way it was good and the entire pizza was gone!!The burger was the perfect counter part!! Cooked perfectly as we asked and the fries were so crispy...(the best way to eat fries!!!) We even got a cheese cake to celebrate our friend's birthday!!! And we of course... all got espresso martinis!!! Delicious and gave us more energy to keep yapping all night!! Thank you summer place for another great birthday celebration!!"
"Atmosphere - below average. The building is old and it is dark inside. I have dined inside once and had takeout twice. I would recommend takeout, as the dining area is a little dingy.Service - good. The staff is very attentive and pleasant.Food- mixed experience. The fried rice is very good, as are the soups and dumplings. The Sesame chicken is decent (if a little over breaded), The lo mein is virtually inedible (way too many vegetables)Overall - average. Select your menu items carefully and you will be very happy. I believe in supporting small businesses during this difficult time and hope that everyone will as well. Corona- the restaurant is currently operating on takeout only. The staff seems to take the steps necessary to comply with safety recommendations. The employees wear masks and signs outside require the same of customers. However, while waiting for my takeout order and customer entered who did not wear a mask and nothing was said."
"We came in for dinner with friends to celebrate a birthday!I ordered the chopped salad without blue cheese crumbles. This salad consists of applewood smoked turkey, bacon, avocado, Point Reyes blue cheese, almonds, croutons, and apples with café vinaigrette. I loved this salad! It was amazing. So flavorful, and I loved the crunch. I also shared the dip duo with a friend, which is guacamole and pimento cheese dip. Both of the dips were amazing, but they came with way too few chips to eat our dips with. Overall, I would come back here again in the future!"
"Love this new place! The food done by Chef Anthony is incredible, the sseared halibut had so much flavor, the focaccia bread melts in your mouth. Service is back! Fernando was so good to us and with a smile on hIs face! The atmosphere has a great vibe, fun. Nice wine and interesting cocktail list. New favorIte!!"
"We stopped by to experience the Christmas pop up restaurant, Blitzen's. Absolutely amazing decorations!!! They did such a great job decorating and making it feel like the ultimate Christmas stop. Liked the holiday inspired beverage menu. A little pricey but cute drinks. I got the Frosty's Toddy, which was pretty good. Ordered the pot stickers and a side salad with homemade vinaigrette. Very good. My boyfriend got the chicken sandwich which was really messy, but he said it was good too. We snapped some holiday pics together and even saw Santa in the entryway. Highly suggest a stop to get in the Christmas spirit."
"I was pleasantly surprised at this place. I didn't have many expectations since we went here on a whim for lunch. And upon entering I was pleased to see the place was nicely decorated and clean. You can tell a lot by the way a restaurant keeps itself looking inside and they got my approval. We all partook in their burger special. I got the Rodeo burger and my wife got the Southwest Chipotle burger. The Rodeo burger was very tasty and perfectly cooked; and the Cajun seasoned fries were well balanced with flavor. Our waitress was very nice and accommodating. If you're looking for good food for decent prices and nice atmosphere, this is the place to go!"
"We absolutely love Potelah! Massive build your own baked potatoes with tons of unlimited toppings. Everything was really fresh to us. Friendly staff. Super yummy fresh squeezed juices and smoothies. I also recommend the Potelah potato pizza. You can do takeout or dine in, but it's definitely very casual and you order up at the counter!"
"Nice upscale restaurant and bar on Route 224 between Boardman and Canfield. Comfortable atmosphere with great food and bar service. We dined here with friends last Sunday, and we all enjoyed our meals. Tip: the French Onion soup is particularly good!"
"Easily one of my favorite places to eat!! The food is almost hot, fresh, and flavorful. I've never been disappointed. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The staff is amazing (particularly Reginald). His customer service is TOP TIER. Though I've never dined in, the dining area is also always clean and presentable. Highly recommend. If you've never tried it, you're missing out!"
"Cool spot if your a Buckeye! Coming for games is a memorable experience but it wasn't easy finding a spot. Food was good and drinks were cold!"
"Must enjoy when visiting erie..love the Greek hotdogs sauce is a original! The staff so warm inviting people. Quaint cafe.."
"Every time I go here this place is awesome, never misses! Everything is good. Start with pretzel, pickles or Asian nachos and follow with the Raging Bull Burger."
"This was a nice find on our road trip through OH. The looks on the outside is deceiving but inside it's a little gem. The menu is surprisingly varied. The service was excellent and the waitress was very knowledgeable about gluten free options. No cocktail menu but they have a pretty decent selection of bourbon at the bar. The brussel sprouts are tasty! Hubs had the turkey panini and I had the beet and candied walnut salad. I really liked my salad! Hubs said panini was okay but the fries were really good and crispy."
"We ended up here as we were looking for a restaurant that wasn't part of a chain. Growing up in the area - I knew it would be a challenge to find such a place. However, I have no clue how the person who picked this found out about it. It is a BAR - not a restaurant. Being a former drinker, I have not stepped foot in a bar so probably 20 years. Prior to that - this might have been my kind of place. The clientele seemed to be older men. Then some younger men came in much later. The bar tenders were YOUNG and scantily dressed girls. Not slutty, just revealing a lot of skin. It was pretty clear we were the ONLY people just there for the food.So we seated ourselves at a table and the bartender/waitress brought us menus - took our drink orders. The menu had a front and back - and thank goodness - a SALAD FOR ME! The offerings were your basic bar food - and then some. Almost like a diner - burgers, sandwiches, pizzas, daily specials and ONE SALAD. The prices were cheap! All under $10.I got the salad and requested grilled chicken be added. My hubby got the burger and fries and his assistant coach got the pork tacos. Bartended did a pretty good job of keeping our drinks filled (although I was the only one with a fountain drink - but I drink quickly). My salad came out first. Hubby said to go ahead and eat (not politely wait for all food to show up) - as I eat slow. So I did. The salad was like a nice homemade chef salad. Iceberg lettuce with shredded cheese, mushrooms (canned), diced chicken and LOTS of croutons. I don't do croutons so my hubby was happy to take them off my plate. In fact, I think he was glad I didn't eat them as the other orders took FOREVER to come out. That was my observation - but neither of the other 2 with me even commented on the delay in their food. So I guess they were OK.The burger was a nice size and properly prepared - but hubby was surprised that there was no lettuce, tomato, etc. There was, however, LOADS OF FRIES. The fries were nicely deep-fried - to the edge of crispiness. Hubby later said he MIGHT have been able to eat all the fries (he did not) - had he not eaten several dozen of my croutons. I am told the pork taco was good - and they provided a to-go container for the extras and the eater can only eat small portions of food throughout the day. The assitant coach picked up the bill for us all so I don't know what the drinks cost. However, the price of food was so incredibly fair - I imagine they are priced well too.So as I started off by saying - this is a bar, not a restaurant. And for bar food - this is crazy good. And fair priced. I recommend you come here is you're looking for a decent meal at a decent price and want a full bar experience to boot."
"For what Spats is attempting to be, they're doing an awesome job! This is definitely a divey place. It's a neighborhood sports bar and nothing fancy. The staff is warm and friendly to all and the food and drinks are priced right. The place could probably use a good scrubbing, but I didn't feel like I was going to get sick or anything. It's just old inside. They offer outdoor seating and a dining room side. The menu seems to have several scratch made items. The theme is mostly bar food with an Italian focus added. We had burgers and fresh cut fries along with two pint beers and two rocks pours of crown whisky. Bill was $31 before tip. Great value. The food was pretty good for the price. My only complaint was the crumbling sesame seed bun that came on the Spats Big Boy style burger. They grilled it, but it was obviously old because it crumbled when I picked it up. Next time I'll order a different bun. The kaiser bun that came with the bacon-cheddar-mushroom burger was also grilled but soft and fresh. The burgers themselves were juicy and flavorful and came with perfect fries, fresh not frozen. Loved the pickles too. The liquor selection was vast. Only a few beers were on tap though. The patrons we encountered on our first visit here were regulars and friendly. The staff were conversational and welcoming. The back wall of the bar was lined with televisions. Could see this being a perfect spot for a game or grabbing a drink and quick bar bite!"
"This is not a sit down restaurant...however this place has probably the best wings, po boys, and ribs on the east side. Get the hot garlic parm wings, and make sure you get extra napkins for them po boys."
"Good food and great drink specials. Really cool environment with pool tables, big bar, tons of TVs. Karen, the bartender, was great and really knows what she's doing. Also, as far as hotel bars are, the prices were great!"
"I would like to give this place a 5 star but for as fancy as this place is on the inside you would think they would have more than one waiter taking care of 6 tables. He was basically running from one side to another trying to get his tables served but he shouldn't have to do that if they would have planned out the tables accordingly. When he brought our food out my sandwich was ok until I got a piece of rubbery chicken. The fries were cold and he was so busy he refilled my water once but never asked if we wanted another drink. Hubby loved his burger with with a beef short rib said it was cooked perfectly but his fries were cold. Overall loved the decor and the food was just ok. The service wasn't our waiters fault because he seemed overwhelmed with all the people trying to please everyone something management should have noticed since this guy was literally running from one end of the building to the other. I would give these place another try but I won't get the chicken again next time maybe I will sit at the bar and try the burger. You seem to get better service at the bar. This place is located inside the Jack casino and racetrack ( the old Thistledown Racino) the casino is actually expanded the playing floor and added some new dining options."
"This place is mostly known for its night/club scene but wow they have amazing dishes. Everything I've ever had here is always excellent as well as the staff. The mango habanero wings are to die for!!"
"I get the grazing greek here. It's my favorite salad, it has olives, feta, and edamame. And I feel super healthy after eating it too! I've also had the falafels and they come with hummus. Grazers has a variety of healthy food options. It's great if you're trying to eat healthy and want to feel full too. Definitely tasty options like mac n cheese too. They have a lot of options where you can personalize wraps, salads, and more. There's also premade salads and wraps to help you out if you're indecisive too!Parking is street parking, which can be hard to find during peak hours and weekends. Also, just a heads up that this place is closed on Sundays."
"The social club is big in size and can accommodate large parties easily. There is a lot of good parking outside and open till midnight on Fri and Sat! The food for portions were a decent size, but nothing was particularly innovative. It came out warm not hot. We ordered we ordered for apps. the fresh Burrata, Palmento cheese, balls. For the main we ordered the duck but we ended up with a short rib and I ended up trying it before noticing it was not the dish I ordered.Still, it was well cooked and enough to share for two. The service at the front desk helped us promptly and our waitress was also very nice. The golf is something we didn't try but seemed popular, like the bar. The vibe is trendy but there is a change in scenery if you go upstairs or downstairs. There are three golf bays downstairs and six golf bays on the second floor. The space is big and nice to be in. They play music but it isn't too loud. It seems like a very cool place for a business party, birthday, or graduation party. Come check it out!"
"First visit here. Good space with lots of tables and small bar. Waitress was friendly and accommodating for our need to have a quick bite to eat. Great selection of beers and a full bar. Had the smoked wings and 41 burger. Wings were meaty and had a great flavor. If you like smoked food, this is a must try. The burger was delicious. Fresh with great toppings and excellent flavor. Various local cheeses to select from. Reasonable prices. Good service. Will be back when we can spend more time."
"Enjoyed this stunning salmon burger that was obviously homemade Delicious and very satisfying. Service was superb and atmosphere lovely. Four stars as the non-alcoholic Stella's was far overpriced at $8."
