"We stopped for lunch and enjoyed all of our selections....Falafel, cheese and spicy beef sausages. As a Yelp bonus for checking in we enjoyed a Turkish coffee and baklava."

"The owner is almost always behind the counter and you are greeted in a familiar, he knows you kind of vibe. They were open during the lockdown and I really respect how he cared about his employees (because that matters just as much as the food). When people are happy to work, the food is prepared with love and you can taste it. Now to food...try the Aegean...thank me later. I also pick up their Junior cheeseburger for my children and the baklava is the owners' grandma's recipe. It's the truth!"
"I visited for the first time towards the end of January 2024 after viewing the new apartments across the street. They have a small market that is attached to the restaurant so you can shop for some Italian spices, sauces, snacks, wine, etcPIZZAS -- Their pizzas are probably one of the best that I've had in Cleveland. Soft and rich. Flavourful. I ordered the Pizza Margherita ($15 during happy hour time) which consists of herb-roasted tomatoes , fresh mozzarella cheese, and basil with a garlic sauce. This pizza is soooo flavourful and just perfect. No meat is even needed. Normally, I don't like to eat cheese neither do I really like sole cheeses or I hardly eat cheese but the mozzarella cheese in this pizza did not make my stomach hurt and it tasted fresh. Earlier this morning, I came across my photo of the margherita pizza and I'm craving to order it tonight - that's how delicious it is. I recently had a dry and hard pizza from a pizza restaurant in Lakewood but Astoria Cafe has one of the best pizzas in the city of Cleveland. I also tried their pepperoni and mushroom pizza and those were really.I also ordered the Chicken Avgolemono Soup ($7) as a starter before the pizzas arrived and this was a nice soup but it needed some more flavour besides salt.I'll definitely be back to Astoria Cafe to try other menu items and to buy the Biscotello cookies from their small market.****GOAL of 150 reviews in 2024- 10/150 total reviews in 2024- 660 total overall Yelp reviews- Reviewed on Friday, 15 March 2024"
"Yummy, yummy, yummyJunk salad FTW. Will definitely be back. Close to BG college. 10-15 minutes away."
"I am back one year later and this place is still awesome! Extra hummus is definitely a good move, because their hummus is the absolutely best. Hot, fresh and quick!"
"So delicious! My husband kept recommending this place and I'm glad I went. Think of fresh healthy brassica meets chipotle style efficiency. The food is less seasoned than brassica but still so tasty. I actually like it a little better because it isn't as heavy. The owner and family who works there are also so polite and kind. Service is a big part of food industry and I would go just to support their business because they were so nice. The restaurant is very clean and you get a view into the cleanliness of the kitchen which is relieving. Highly recommend! The bowl portions are great for a meal without leaving you overly full (I got half leafy greens and half lentils and brown rice). Will be coming back to try their sides and other dishes!"
"Food is absolutely delicious and very affordable! Great atmosphere as well! The service is also quick!"
"YUM YUM YUM. best falafel i've had in the US so far. loved that i could enjoy a meal with my super picky mother from here. she had a burger and loved it... and even tried my food! rice was delicious and she had chicken she said was amazing too. definitely worth a try and staff was super friendly. Good energy the second you walk in"
"The food is amazing here. Definitely one of the best restaurants in Toledo. Right up there with Keego. Fresh, elegant, well prepared Mediterranean dishes. We haven't had a dish we didn't like. I would also strongly recommend their brunch: service is always top notch and the restaurant is beautiful and modern. If you're lucky you'll get a booth across from where they plate the food. You get to see everything on the menu that way."
"Location: 195 E Erie St. Kent, OhioWebsite: http://www.yourlaziza.com/Parking: street parking and lot parking within 2 blocks Service: Excellent Price: Expensive, but not totally warrantedBeautiful restaurant with a Mediterranean menu.Food is good... but not in the same caliber as the price point.I would suggest limiting your visit to a cocktail and a starter. The dinner menu is priced about twice the price it should be...The quality and quantity of ingredients are good, but flavor was underwhelming overall."
"As a vegan, I give this restaurant 5 stars! I had the veggie kabobs, seasons potatoes, and french fries. My son, who is also vegan, had the cauliflower and the madajura (sp). My daughter had chicken sliders and a root beer. My son and I both loved our food and would eat there again. Our server had great energy and let us know that she made the kitchen staff aware of our food restrictions. Everyone was so kind."

Taza Lebanese Grill is hands down the best Lebanese restaurant that I have ever been to. Not only is the food amazing, the service is exceptional as well. First impression when walking through the door, I couldn't help but notice the character and charm - from the beautiful lighting, the pressed metal ceiling, to the woodwork on the bar. This place is classy yet casual all at the same time.Taza has a nice selection of craft beers and some Lebanese ones as well. The wine selection is ample, and international. My wife and I started our meal with fatteh, which is so scrumptious and unique. Fried pita chips, sour cream, pine nuts, garbanzo beans, and cilantro are the perfect combination of ingredients that make this dish so amazing. For our main, we ordered and split the lamb kebab, which was grilled to perfection. It was served with a creamy garlic sauce on the side. Sauteed vegetables and rice accompanied the meal, which were also cooked to perfection. As a Yelp user, we received a complimentary baclava and Turkish coffee after we finished eating, which made our dining experience absolutely perfect!I HIGHLY recommend Taza Lebanese Grill.

This is a hidden gem in Avon!! Me and my dad came here to have dinner and it was a wonderful experience!!The workers were so kind and helpful... they helped us pick out their recommendations from the menu! We ended up ordering falafel and kebabs to try!! Definitely enough food for two people, we got so much to eat!! The falafel was delicious and you can even dip it in some of the sauce that comes with the bread!! We also shared chicken, steak, and doner kebabs!!! Make sure you ask for some sauces on the side because we were devouring them!! I was scared I wasn't going to enjoy the doner because it was something new to me... but it ended up being my favorite of the three! All of the food was delicious and it was fun to try new food I haven't before!! We will be back to order more from here!! They also make catering trays for any party or event! They look so beautiful and delicious, I will also be trying that in the future!! I definitely recommend giving this place a try if you want to try something new.... Delicious flavors and a wonderful atmosphere!!!

Greeted by warm smiles and seated without a reservation on a Sunday brunch afternoon, timing was perfect! There were only 2 open tables! We were given server, Brandy and other than the cocktail, she was the best! Her raspy voice and charming personality were both inviting as she walked us thru the menu, which was paring down as orders plowed into the kitchen! We enjoyed two all-time house favs... i thoroughly enjoyed the big dawg, Croque Madame and i can't tell you what was better, the ham Sammie inside or the rich bechamel-drenched Sunnyside egg on the outside... it's a tie! It was served with a highly dressed mixed greens, just so you can think you aren't eating a zillion calories! I could only eat 1/2 but the other 1/2 was just as good the next day, deconstructed!Mom had the Astoria breakfast and because they were out of the Lang's sausage, they gave her double bacon... i swear it was 1/2 lbs! The petite taters were delicately crisp but be careful of the Calabria chiles... the heat ain't no joke! It's a drive for us, but well worth it! Just ignore the fact that you are eating in a deli!!!! (Spolier alert)Check out my pics...i wish I had smellavision or scratch and taste!

The hummus was outstanding and the Zingo's style wraps are also excellent. We had good service and they took the time to explain any questions we had. I'd go out of my way to go there again.

Walk in (there is like 3 tables outside for warmer weather) no frills just a small family takeout restaurant. I like the beef tender and tasty. I make sure to add the heat!!! lol The beef bowl consists of bed of rice with shredded beef, pickles, hummus, and a salad I bought a bag of pita bread for about $17.00

This place is solid! It's like a Lebanese chipotle, but so much better, where you can build your own bowl with delicious Mediterranean ingredients and flavors. Everything tastes super fresh and light, so if you have a sensitive stomach like my fiancé you'll leave here happy. We each got a build-your-own bowl and both really liked it. Again, the flavors were great on both of them, and you can customize them to your heart's desire. My lone complaint is the locale. The entrance is so confusing!! There's floor to ceiling glass and the staff laughed at us (in a friendly way!) after we finally figured out how to get in. They said this happens all the time. The staff was absolutely lovely and helpful, seeing that we were able to maneuver our way through the menu given that it was clearly our first time there. Overall great experience, would definitely recommend!

"Always fresh - special orders expected and they knock it out! Small place but on a nice day? Great to people watch outside"
"Lots of good food and a wonderful grocery selection. We love the deli and hot food selections!"
"Had our favorite Gyros today. Owner, Mona grilled the meat to crisp it for us. The taziki sauce is fresh made and even the small version of their Gyros are loaded with meat. Crunchy perfect fries served hot. My son had some of his favorite chicken tenders. We also had a side of Tabouli with pita. Nice little touches like seasonal salt and pepper shakers. They recently added some beef items and fried fish to their menu. A small grocery section in rear of restaurant."
"Hidden gem! Cute, clean, quick Med food hidden next to a car repair shop. Much larger inside than it appears. Great menu! Very nice staff. And most importantly, fabulous food, fair prices. I had the falafel sandwich, live how they made it as a wrap, vs a messy folded pita. Very flavorful and fresh. Dolma were excellent, and filled with numerous spices. All the food I saw being made looked great. Open concept kitchen where you can see the staff making food, knowing it's clean and fresh is great. Order at counter, sit, and wait for your ticket to be called type establishment."
"Had to be at CSU for an event and stopped here yesterday for lunch. The gentleman behind the counter was very friendly and he made good suggestions. I ordered the Lebanon wrap and a side salad. The wrap had lettuce, onion, tomato, cucumber, grilled chicken breast, hummus, tabouli, and a dressing. The side salad was spring mix, onion, cucumber, tomato and dressing. The wrap was pretty standard fare. Only thing I didn't care for was the dressing. It was a balsamic vinaigrette and it was good. It was just way too much of it. I don't mind a bit of dressing. It was dripping out of the wrap there was so much of it. My hands were coated with dressing eating it. The side salad was non remarkable. A typical side salad. I'd recommend this place with reservations."
"Went for Cleveland pizza week and had a great time. Went with a large group and they got all our pizzas out fairly quick and the service was fantastic. Pizza also surprised me at how good it was"
"Delicious and friendly. Quick service. If I am back in the area, I will definitely stop in for a bite."
"Friendly service diner atmosphere good food. A great place to go Sunday morning. They're never pushy and food is always good."
"This was my first time eating here. We chose to eat inside, the food was alright, I was disappointed with the sauce on the Gyro, it wasn't tzatziki sauce. The restaurant inside was really nicely decorated, but they need to do better housekeeping, it was pretty dirty. If I eat there again I would probably just get takeout. But I'll probably just try a different place instead next time. Oh and they added a $3.15 "Non cash adjustment charge " to the bill, Idk what that means, but it was shady."
"This place is SO delicious! I've driven past it so many times and thought it was a fancy sit down restaurant but it's not! It's a counter service restaurant but they bring your food to you.I got the grilled chicken gyro and added a side of hummus topped with feta and holy smokes was it GOOD!!!I can't say anything but positive things about this place. It's only downfall is a lack of a children's menu, but honestly, it's not even a big deal!Do yourself a favor and get the side of hummus because it comes with pita that's so delicious, some cucumbers and celery and it's amazing!"
"Review #500!What a great little restaurant and so cool that it marks my 500th YELP review as it was such an awesome find! Kabob It Bowling Green is located at 132 E Wooster St, Bowling Green, OH 43402.I was in town for work and looking for a place to grab some dinner when I discovered this place on Yelp. It sounded good, it was close by, and went to check it out. I was able to grab a parking spot on the street and it looked like additional parking at the side of the building.I really like how guests are warmly greeted when you walk in. The restaurant has a kind of a divey cool small business feel and atmosphere. After looking over the menu, I decided on the Kafta Kabob Sandwich ($11.98) and added fries and a drink ($3.99). Fries were hot and the sandwich was delicious. There was a group of 20+ students from a swim meet that had came in right before me. I was completely impressed with how the two man staff handled the orders and how promptly they were able to complete each individual order. It was a great experience. Friendly service, delicious food, and would recommend grabbing a meal here. Next time I am in town I will definitely stop in to try some more items as everything sounded and looked so yummy. For more info check out their website at www.eatkabobit.com."
"This used to be the old Arabica coffee house. The renovation is more than adding lipstick on a pig. The seating is more booth than couches that remind me of being in some one basement at a high school dance. The have a food menu which I wish I would have known prior to coming. I had already had lunch. Best believe that I'll be back to try the gyro. The place still have great service and reasonably priced hookah. Definitely a place you would want to bring folks just to hang out smoke, drink, and eat."
"Ever since I drove past this place I have been so excited to try it.The inside was very clean, organized, and very homey. I ate there and got the Ankh platter. The eggs were delicious. The naan so good. The Falalfel my favorite thing I ate. The fava so tasteful. I can't wait to go back and try more! The worker was so kind as well."
"If you want authentic Lebanese food, this place has a variety of tasty options. I usually get the spinach fatayer and lentil soup. The lentil soup is perfectly seasoned and is light while satisfying, while the spinach fatayer brims with flavor!"
"I forgot to take pictures of my food. But let me tell you the taste is better than I could imagine. I got a chicken Schwarma wrap. And a spinach roll up thing. The flavors were perfect. There is not one complaint I have about this place. Well maybe one. I wish it was closer to my house. You have to get here. And enjoy their food."
"Lyla's is a very hole-in the wall, mom and pop's diner! Friends and I came for breakfast on Easter Sunday and the place was fairly empty. We were seated quickly and our waitress was very friendly! I ordered the Spinach Omelette. The omelette had spinach, mushrooms, bacon and feta cheese, but I subbed it for mozzarella instead. It also came with a side of home fries and toast. On the table they had an assortment of jellies for the toast, salt and pepper and you could request for ketchup. The portion size was big for the price and the food was delicious! They also had a good amount of middle-eastern food on their menu which I want to try for a future lunch or dinner meal!"
"I stopped by for breakfast today! This is a spot my husband and I love, and we stop by here regularly. We always call ahead to order so that when we get there we wont wait too long. Food here is hand made by a family who's owned this place for awhile. It always good when the ladies are working the food and the service. However when the actual owner is working food can taste different and he is a bit rude, so be warned. Always call ahead for hours as they have spotty times. We ordered zaetar, egg and cheese then regular cheese fatira, its like Arabic breakfast pizza almost. It is always filling and we ALWAYS have left overs to take back. We have to order all three when we come, they're all so good. Conclusion! We will continue to come back and enjoy.! Thank you!"
"Nice addition to Solon! Easy to find, park and get to next to CVS at 91 and 43, across from Jim's Open Kitchen. Not big. There are a few tables to eat in but mostly take out. They have about 20 homemade hummus'. Lots of unique flavors and you can try, we asked about a few and got samples. They are all very good! We ordered 2 veggie pitas, orzo salad, tabuleh,, feta cheese dip and spanakopita. It was way too much food. So we ate about a quarter of it and took a lot home. LOL! It was all very good. Very fresh. Prices are about mediocre. Not bad really. People are nice and you can try before you buy. Can't go wrong. This will be in regular rotation."
"Levant Shawarma is a newer Mediterranean restaurant that offers halal chicken and beef items including shawarma, kefta kabobs and burgers. We ordered the shawarma chicken and also mixed chicken/beef plates with 2 sides. We tried the baba ghanoush, Fatoush salad and vegetable rice. Everything we had was very nicely flavored and generously portioned. They make the shawarma in house and all the ingredients are made fresh daily. We loved the toum/garlic sauce. The baba ghanoush was one of the best I've had in a long time; smoky flavor, a nice drizzle of good olive oil served with warm pitas! YUM! We then tried the Dubai cheesecake which was very nice with chocolate drizzle and a crunchy top. They make delicious mohalbea which is a Syrian desert pudding. It was very good too. Adib the owner nicely greeted us and also served us all our food. His shop and seating area was very clean, neat and tidy. We really enjoyed dining there and would definitely go back again."
"Ohio Kabob Grill serves dishes of Mediterranean and Afghan flavors. The restaurant boasts a simple yet cozy ambiance that welcomes diners with the promise of friendly atmosphere and tasty food. The beef and chicken kebabs are my favorite, with succulent and well-seasoned meat. The Chicken Kabuli Palau, Afghanistan's national dish, has awesome flavors that leaves you craving for more. The Bolani Kachalou, a flatbread stuffed with potato and spices, is a perfect start to the meal, and the Sheppard Salad complements it with its freshness. The staff are very friendly and the owner/chef is always warmly welcoming making you feel like a family friend. The portions are generous that justify the price, The take-out containers are packed to the brim, ensuring that you get your money's worth with every order.Ohio Kabob Grill is a must-visit where the food speaks for itself, and every dish is a testament to the chef's passion for cooking. Whether you're a fan of Mediterranean cuisine or looking to try something new, Ohio Kabob Grill won't disappoint."
"Let me preface that you can expect great service and food here. I was welcomed immediately by the owner upon entering. He had me sample a few things and was excited about me taking photos for Yelp. He told me they are expanding and will offer a seating area. He wants patrons to like what they eat so they can walk to the counter and order more. I ordered hummus (which doesn't normally come with pita) and a few others items just to sample for future orders. I can't recall everything, but I will return. It's worth it just to visit the uber friendly owner! Carry out & delivery ($10 minimum order)"
"The best Mediterranean food in 2 counties!gyros are delicious and huge , even when you order a regular size. The combos are to die for and the employees are great (shaker hts transplants), woodman ave. Area is not the best but Toro rates 5 stars!"
"My husband used to live in Egypt and has a LOT of strong opinions about gyros and shawarma; he's also always especially skeptical of takeaway spots. But... whoa, we both LOVED Pita Way, blowing his skepticism out of the water. We both ordered a sandweech (shawarma, essentially) with gyro meat, feta, onions, tomatoes and white sauce; he added fries to his, while I added garlic sauce and cucumbers to mine. The gyro meat was flavorful, juicy, well-seasoned, and not at all greasy. We also split a side of hummus, which was super creamy and tahini-forward. We did takeout, so I can't really speak to the vibe, but it was busy even on a Saturday evening an hour before closing, and the space was relatively large and very clean. The staff wasn't particularly friendly, seeming a little bit annoyed to have to serve folks so close to the end of the evening. But honestly the food was so good that I've already forgotten about it. (And the next time I went back, which wasn't as close to closing, everyone was great.)We live just down the road and look forward to eating at Pita Way much, much more often!"
