"Always on the lookout for that speciality shop for special occasions. For great Italian choices, this is the place! Needed authentic Italian loaves of bread for Christmas Day dinner and heard about this gem. Checked it out and it was exactly what my wife was looking for. First, bakery was outstanding! Fresh breads, rolls, cookies, and anything you are looking for. Deli meats they cover anything you are in search of. Olives, olives, and more olives! Meal dishes ready to heat at home, they got you covered! Deserts as well! A great stop and for us Eastsiders a good spot to fill up your Italian desires!"
"This is quote the Indian market. Kind of reminds me of the ones in Chicago. It was really large for Cleveland and had multiple brands that I was not familiar with. Large selección of prepared food at a nice price. Very competitive pricing. Great customer service. They even stocked a brand of pre-made spice boxes that were not loaded with salt. Highly recommend this store for all your Indian needs."
"I felt nostalgic as soon as I walked in here, the smell of the store made me feel like I was back in the Middle East. I was very impressed with the selection of items at this store. Everything was so organized and easy to find."
"We were so excited when we saw this spot! We stopped in to browse and they have all of our favorite seasonings. There was a great selection of choices and some brands that we haven't tried before. They have spices, marinades, sauces, bread, drinks, snacks, beauty products and more for sale in the store. They also have different hot many items you can order. We had already eaten dinner, so we opted to try the beef patty as an after dinner snack and it was excellent. Crispy on the outside, hot and flavorful on the inside. When we're in town again we'll be stopping by to try more of their menu."

This is definitely an East suburb gem. Not only a great little grocery store, but they have a large deli selection (including specialty Italian meats), a bakery with fresh breads, cookies, cannoli, and more, a great hot foods counter, and a made to order sub menu, optionally toasted. Included at no additional charge - the expertise on the products from the Italian workers. They don't just sell the products, they know the products. Tell them you want to make the best pasta sauce ever and they'll help you out.The hot foods counter is fantastic - I've tried a number of things and it beats the pants off of any standard grocery's hot food counter (even Heinen's). The roast beef, the pizza burger, and the pork chops are my personal highlights. The pizza burger is two slices of pizza, upside down with a massive freshly ground sausage patty in the middle. Delicious. There's no place to eat at Distefano's so plan on eating in your car, or if the weather is nice there's a few parks nearby.

I decided to take the plunge into an Indian grocery. The store is large and clean. Near the window are decorative items for the home or for gifts. In the cases are frozen foods, a few fresh veggies, large bags of rice, packaged foods, and kitchen utensils. I didn't know what most foods were, but I do like Indian food. In front there are hot foods to purchase and eat there or take out. The store was busy on this Friday evening.

This new hot spot in Lyndhurst is a must visit. I stopped in for a quick bite to eat and I was blown away by its Jamaican authenticity. They had all types of grocery items directly from Jamaica along with original Jamaican cuisine. The greeter was so nice and friendly. My food came out within 15 minutes because it's made fresh. The veggie patty was packed with flavor and so delish. The store has a beautiful mural of Bob Marley and a small eating area. I plan to come back and try more items from the menu.

Westside people looking for Indian groceries, need look no farther! Rimi's grocery could be your go to store! I'm a regular here, and could find almost everything that I need. Couple of uncommon items that I was looking for, which too I found it here were whole turmeric and purboil rice. They have fresh produce too, limited option but works well for us. Although the name suggests bakery and grocers and gifts, they are mostly grocers then comes bakery and then gifts. As I dont have a sweet tooth, I go here for groceries. Never looked for any gifts though. The store is clean and organized. Friendly staff.

Licha's Mexican market carries a wide variety of Mexican foods, including freshly made tamales on weekends. They even make chicken filled tamales, along with traditional seasoned pork. Licha's does serve hot food to be eaten on premises, although it's far from "fine dining", the food is wonderfully authentic, spicey and delicious!Don't overlook Licha's wonderful deli! Guacamole is to die for, homemade chorizo, carne al pastor, carne asada...I can go on & on. Corn tortillas and variety of flour tortillas. Fresh avocados, limes and variety of peppers.Best Mexican market ever. I've visited markets in nearby cities, Licha's is the best Mexican market!

"A Jewel in the Crown . . . here in Westlake! This "Jewel" isn't Great Britain's India from the past, but a modern, bright, and spacious shop in Westlake. From the friendly, welcoming proprietors to the vast selection of foods and sprinkling of giftware---including the cutest ever Swarovski crystal oyster and pearl---it's well worth visiting.Per their website, Rimi's is the first Indian store of it's kind in Cleveland, offering bakeries, groceries, and gift items. They're also the exclusive Cleveland retailer of Roopak brand spices and pickles (spicy relishes). Chutney (spicy fruit or tomato relishes) are stocked, too.Whether you already enjoy eating Indian foods, or have never tried this cuisine but are curious about it, you will enjoy looking through their expansive cooler/freezer and well-stocked shelves. They also offer fresh (daily) produce at the rear of the store, and several varieties of fresh and colorful mithai (sweets) in their inviting bakery case. Asked if I'd like to try one to sample, I chose the yellow and bright green pistachio-filled that was in a cylindrical shape. It was quite good---reminded me of marzipan. Naan (bread) is available frozen, refrigerated, and non-refrigerated, and they carry over 15 rices, including Tilda brand, my favorite basmati.Among many vegetarian products are: eggless tea cakes, cookies, decorated layer cakes, cupcakes and puff pastries. Their full-size potato/pea and paneer masala puffs are offered daily, but for other choices confirm what they have available for purchase beforehand, since some items are baked to order. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * For complete list of bakery and pricing, pull up their website. www.indianbakersngrocers.com? Are you a vegetarian, but have never tried Indian foods ? You must try it. This is a whole new world of flavors. Pick a few prepared savory dishes and enjoy something completely different---and healthy, too. And if you aren't a vegetarian, but new to this cuisine, because many Indian dishes can very easily complement poultry, meat, or fish, begin by trying them as side dishes. All Indian foods are best accompanied with rice or naan---or both---and a small serving of pickle or chutney."
"Do you like authentic Mexican food at great prices? An informal atmosphere where multiple visits earn you a "regular" badge and a smile from the cook? Do you like Coke made with real sugar and not corn syrup? Do you want to grocery shop after you eat? Licha's is your place. It's not fancy, and it's not big (because it's nestled in a corner of the store), but they offer yummy, inexpensive choices, like tacos with your choice of meats (pollo, lengua, barbacoa, chorizo, al pastor, etc.) garnished with cilantro and onion and a slice of lime, burritos, tortas, and a full dinner menu with some delicious plates. I worked my way thorough each of the meat choices in sequence last year during a series of taco lunches; I came away convinced that I would never have a bad meal here even if my understanding of Spanish is limited. You can pay your meal tab in cash, or take your tab to the checkout with your groceries and use a card. They don't serve alcohol, but the Mexican Cokes make up for it."
"This place is fantastic. Definitely a mom and pop shop. Best Thai food in Akron. Flavors are bold and not overly sweet except for the wings. Those are sweet and hot. Pork belly with a fried egg is excellent. Crispy rolls and crab Rangoon are really good starters. Everything I have tried has been very well done. Give this place a try. If you want to support small local businesses, this one is easy."
