"Choolaah Westlake recently had its grand opening. I was pleasantly surprised at the flawless operations and helpful staff when I visited on a Sunday afternoon couple days after their opening.Their bold colors, modern décor, and an open kitchen set the scene for a vibrant dining experience. The staff were super welcoming and helpful, navigating the menu like seasoned pros to help me with my order.Choolaah Bowl with Chicken and Tikka Masala is wow inspiring - tender chicken coated in a creamy, tomato-based sauce with just the right kick. Naan sopped up every bit of that deliciousness (pro tip: ask for it extra crispy!).The Salmon Choolaah bowl with Chickpea Masala delivered a mouth watering aromatic chickpea based sauce over white rice. I could just each the sauce and rice. The salmon added extra bite of aromatic seafood protein. The Samosa Chaat definitely has much room for improvement. I wasn't prepared to need to break up the samosa myself and mix in the sauces to get it to be a chaat. I'm used to Samosa chaat being served mixed. The samosa were also on the cold side.Choolaah is a fresh and exciting addition to Westlake's dining scene. The vibrant atmosphere, friendly service, and flavorful food (with a little tweaking on the spice level) make it a great spot for a casual Indian dining. I'll definitely be back for more, and I'm excited to see how they evolve in this early stage."
"Got it delivered and it arrived really quickly!Food was GREAT! Got the chicken tikka masala which came with plain basmati rice. Chicken was insanely tender, not too spicy but a lot of flavor. Rice is a little stiff for my taste but I know that's sort of how it's supposed to be. Could've used even a tiny bit more spice! Also got the garlic naan which came with two big pieces. Could've been a tiny bit more garlicky, but again that's personal preference! It was very soft and perfect for dipping. Very large portions as well, have lots of leftovers which helps make the price more justified!"

"food has always been good . my favorite are the cakes. I like their pan cake a lot . Even their evening snacks i loved it .Also their biryanis are really good."
"Went for the lunch buffet. Some of the selections were very tasty. They were supposed to have a goat dish, but there was no meat in it. When asked, the only staff member we saw said it would take over an hour to come out. With tip the buffet is over $20 a person and there was a vegetarian option, butter chicken, and tandoori chicken so there wasn't a big selection. The restaurant hasn't been open long and I'll give them another try. I really liked their tandoori chicken but their rice was plain regular long grain rice. It wasn't even basmati, and nothing was added or seasoned."
"The food was good that I genuinely forgot to take a picture for Yelp.My girlfriend knows that I love Indian so she said we should check out Tandul. It was a VERY GOOD decision. I'm not sure if it's because we visited on a Wednesday night but it was pretty empty inside. The only people dining were us and another party but that worked for me.I had the Saag Paneer with Garlic Naan and it was AMAZING! It's very seldom that I go somewhere and eat everything on my plate but this was one of those places. My girlfriend had the Paneer Tikka Masala, which was also good but not as good as the Saag. The only thing I'd change is that I wish it was spicier. The staff were sweet and accommodating. I'll absolutely be back."
"Did not expect to find a dosa place when I moved from North Jersey to Cleveland but here we are. I've eaten here a few times and while I'm no expert on Indian cuisine, it's just as good to me as the busy, well known places I used to go back east. Dosas are a little sour with flavorful fillings, soothing sambrar soup, and fun to eat idli with dip and vegetable pancake (don't remember what it's called but my kid loved it). Plan to carry out, and order a little extra- the dosas are a bit smaller than I found in NJ but priced accordingly lower. I'm glad to have this place in my neighborhood so I can try more of their tasty Indian goodies."
"Fantastic food full of flavor. This was my first visit here and was pretty empty save for a few tables. As always, I aim for a common dish when I try a new place. Got the chicken biryani and the standard naan bread. Both were delicious. The biryani had a slightly different flavor than I'm used to and had a slightly higher spice level. Both were welcome changes. Service was friendly and prompt. The interior is clean and somewhat modern. Definitely worth a visit if you love Indian food and find yourself in the area!"
"Stopped in tonight with my family! Great little unassuming spot for authentic Indian/Nepali food. I think it used to be a bar which they converted. We ordered the lamb korma, goat curry, sag paneer, and chicken tikka masala (I know I know...I'm basic, but it was good!) The service was friendly and accommodating. I believe they will start offering buffet on the weekends. My only critique is that there isn't much seating for groups over 4 so they had to do some seat arranging to fit our group of 5. I definitely recommend a visit if you want some authentic cuisine!"
"Super friendly staff, the food was very flavorful but very spicy! Next time will ask for less spice . 9/10 would definitely come here again"
"I got take out from here earlier this week and it was absolutely delicious! I tried the honest Thali so I could get a taste of some of their curries and other items and it was phenomenal. There was so much food, I actually got 2 meals out of it! I didn't dine in but when I did go in to pick up my order the entire restaurant smelled amazing and looked so bright and welcoming inside. I will definitely be back!"
"Eastsiders wanting to try yet another cuisine can celebrate as P.K. Curry House finally brings Nepalese food to the East Side of Cleveland. Located in a small strip of stores on Mayfield Road near the new Starbucks is a nice little take out place for Indian food and Nepalese food. The two cuisines are similar, with the Nepali side of the menu adding items such as Momos (dumplings) and Chowmein (Noodles). The restaurant is primarily takeout, although they have 2 very small tables in the window if you want to eat there. Since this was my first time trying P.K. I got a couple of items with the plan to eat some for dinner and some for lunch the next day. I like dumplings so I tried the Veg Jhol Momos which are steamed vegetable filled dumplings in a soup; the dumplings were handmade with a soft dumpling skin and mixed chopped vegies inside adding some crunch.. The flavor of the dumplings was very good and the soup was very spicy and tasty. The dumplings are available steamed with dipping sauce, fried, in the soup or in a chili sauce with onions and peppers. Next up was the Pani Puri, which are like small open topped dumplings filled with potato, sprouts, onions, seasoning and served with a very light soup/broth on the side. These were tasty treats and more filling then they looked, a really nice mix of Indian and Nepali flavors.Last, was the Chatpate which is a flavorful mix of puffed rice, onions, peas, This was a nice contrast of flavors and textures, plus I got the "snack" size and it was a very generous portion. Really good and something a bit different. When ordering I choose the "hot" option on all of the items since I enjoy spicy food; the food was about as hot as I like so be careful, they are doing the spice levels that they enjoy and have not brought them down to American levels. Flavors are a bit different then most Asian cuisines, although you will find some Indian flavors. I will highly recommend that you give P.K. Curry House a try for some really good food from a cuisine that is just becoming trendy. Some really good flavors and textures, definitely try the Momos in a version that sounds good to you."
"We were in the mood for Indian food today and decided to try somewhere new. This place was such a cute restaurant! The decor is modern and attractive and the music selection was also a pleasant mix of modern pop music. We tried the samosa chaat which was a new dish for both of us. It was surprising and delicious with the crunchy samosas and a really flavorful sauce. We also had chicken tikka masala, aloo gobi and butter naan. I was so hungry I forgot to take pictures. Ha! But everything looked and tasted great and the medium spice level was just right without being too spicy. Our server was friendly and helpful. This is definitely a great find with some crave able flavors on the menu. Looking forward to returning!"

We went to Choolaah to grab a quick weeknight meal. The entire restaurant was nicely decorated and the staff were very friendly and helpful. They had a number of vegan options clearly marked on the menu. That was helpful. I ordered a tofu bowl with veggies. It had a nice flavor and was plentiful. I also ordered a side of wheat naan and samosas. The naan comes wrapped in tin foil and clearly marked vegan. The naan was a little soggy by the time i unwrapped it but it was still good. The samosas were tasty and nice and crispy. I like the idea of having a pick up window and you could see a large number of take out orders ready to go. Indian food is amazing and Choolaah is a good choice for fast casual meal. It was a pleasant surprise to find out the restaurant originated in the Cleveland area.

I love dining at India Garden. Service is quick and attentive. Conveniently they have parking. Gorgeous decor. They have an expansive menu. The bread basket is a great value option. I'm slowly making my way through the vegetarian main courses. Everything has been flavorful and delicious. I've dined in and ordered takeout - both a great experience. You can specify your heat tolerance from a scale of 1-10. Really easy when you're dining with folks with different heat preferences.

Take out: The Garlic naan was fluffy pillow of taste.. Bharta was slightly Smoked eggplant but balanced the tomato and spices. The Butter chicken was a blend of dark and white meat and the sauce flavorful. It's nice to see an Indian restaurant in Brunswick. Will definitely return.

What a great Indian restaurant. Some of this may be due to coming out and off hour, but the service was great, the atmosphere very relaxed and my food came fairly quickly. To start, their chapati and mint/tamarind chutnies (the Indian "chips and salsa") were some of the best I've had. The rice was just okay, but my chicken saag was very flavorful and came with more than enough sauce to flavor all the rice. The chicken was also very tender and had just the amount of spice I wanted; my only complaint would be be that the dish was perhaps a bit light on the protein. The samosas actually came out slightly after my main dish (all fairly quickly), and they were pretty good as well. The dough was on the denser side--I tend to prefer ones that are lighter and crispier, but I would still order them if I were craving some. Overall, Tandul was a treat and I'd recommend it to anyone who likes Indian food. I know I'll be back!

I had business in the area on a weekday and decided to come in for lunch. Since the lunch buffet is in the weekend only I decided to order a favorite dish of mine. The dining room was very clean and spacious. A full bar is there as well as at least 3 imported beers from India. I recommend the Maharaja Pilsner served ice cold in a frosted mug to prepare for the next phase of the meal. For me that is a Lamb Vindaloo with spice 5/10. Prefect balance of intense spices and a bit of heat. Comes with Basmati rice. The bread I recommend is the house garlic naan. Rich buttery and full of garlic flavor.Meal was delicious and the service was friendly and attentive. I will definitely be returning for the weekend lunch buffet!

I just happened to come across this Himalayan restaurant. I choose this dish to sample several items.Everything was absolutely delicious! Fresh, hot great flavor and nice presentation. You could tell the chef was proud of the food. The service was fast and correct with the order. The owner informed me they will bee having a buffet next week. I will definitely be back for that. They have only been open for about a week so I expect it to be very busy when word gets out about the food and the buffet. I think they are working on finding a bartender and more work on appearances. It was very clean but a little empty feeling inside.

"A friend brought me here. I really liked the food, great menu and choices. This is a type of Indian food I hadn't tried before. There are so many options."
"I never tried this restaurant before the name change (and from what it sounds like, new ownership), but I'd heard mixed things. I've been pretty loyal to Singh Biryani, but their Cuyahoga Falls menu lacks some items that I enjoy. I noticed that Rose Garden has malai kopta (potato, veggie, and cheese dumplings) in curry, and I wanted to try it. On this first visit, I also tried the hariyali chicken, which is cooked in a tandoor oven, but it's a green sauce (made from coriander, mint, and other spices). I'd never had this dish before, and it was incredibly flavorful. The malai kopta was also quite tasty. I was impressed enough that I decided Rose Garden should definitely be added to our rotation. On the second visit, I had chicken vindaloo, another of my favorite items. I've honestly never been impressed with Singh Biryani's version of this--the sauce was always thin, oily, and not spicy. Rose Garden absolutely nailed this. The sauce was deliciously spiced, the potatoes were cooked perfectly, and the sauce was the perfect gravy-like texture. My partner had Chicken 65; it's not a dish I enjoy, but he said it was excellent. The naan was satisfying.I'm glad that Rose Garden is here and offering some more variety and quality. I've been advising everyone asking for Indian recommendations to give this place a shot."
"3.5/5 starsI visited this new restaurant in Lakewood in November and December 2021. The inside design is very simple with chairs and no decor on the walls which is fine for a restaurant starting out. The light throughout is a bit dim so some brightness is needed.I chatted with the female owner when I visited in November and met her Uncle (or Dad?) who is the chef along with her brother and mother. The male chef has been cooking in the food business for over 10 years which is awesome.FOOD -- I ordered to-go (takeout) in late November 2021. I ordered the Chicken Biryani and Butter Naan. My order was ready in about 25 minutes. I then ordered takeout again on 31 December 2021 but this time I got Chicken Tikka Masala and Garlic Naan. The chicken biryani was good (and I got a BIG portion) but the Chicken Tikka Masala was okay. The chicken tikka masala just didn't taste as delicious as I've had at other restaurants. The chicken biryani had lots of flavour. The butter NAAN wasn't as fresh and soft as I would have wanted it to be and there wasn't much butter on it.Overall, instead of a takeout order, I'd love to come back to sit inside and try something different. I love supporting small business like this especially a family business.****- 9/150 total reviews in 2022- 487 total overall Yelp reviews- Reviewed on 5 March 2022"
"Excellent local Indian restaurant in downtown Akron! Very nice and helpful staff. They were able to answer our menu questions. The food is freshly prepared with very fresh ingredients. I noticed that the restaurant was also doing a very good job of keeping up with take out orders while taking care of guests dining in. The meat was very tender and seasoned perfectly. The sides were also very fresh. Everything tasted great! Good flavors. Enjoyed dining here!"
"Absolutely delicious! I had the Samosa Chaat, Smash Burger and Salty Lassi yogurt drink. Everything was perfect!"
"This is our second visit to Cafe Everest, and once again, we enjoyed our meal. They renovated the restaurant since our last visit over a year ago. "We had takeout from here while visiting my daughter and her fiancé. They order from here when they feel like Indian food. Coming from San Diego where we have an abundance of Indian restaurants, Indian grocery stores, and Indian friends... I've had my fair share of Indian cuisine. I liked the chicken tikka kabob. It was flavorful and consisted of nice pieces of chicken breast. The samosas were also tasty and filling. I think my favorite was the aloo gobi. Aloo is potatoes and gobi is cauliflower. This dish was full of flavor and who doesn't like potatoes. The channa Masala was also delicious. My only complaint is that we asked for medium spice level and all the dishes were very mild. They could have used a little spice and it would have been perfect."
"I thought this Indian food was great! It had been several years since I had been to a good Indian restaurant - I live in LA where good Indian food isn't evenly dispersed throughout the region - so I was excited to try something while staying in Solon. The restaurant did feel empty on. Tuesday night, but I think this is mostly because it was, well, Tuesday, and most restaurants seem to be Uber and Door Dash hubs now. But the server was super kind and friendly, in sort of a mothering way, inviting us to sit down and bringing out warm pappadam to eat with chutneys. It was great!I had a hot chai, and my coworkers enjoyed some icy mango lassis. I ordered channa masala, medium spicy, and it was certainly spicy and delicious. Heaps of basmati came out with it, as well as a sampler of pakoras and samosas with some fluffy chewy naan. The meal was fantastic, and the service felt very personal. I would definitely return!"
"We had called them up to check if they'd be open as it was almost time to close for the afternoon. They asked how many we were and waited for our party of three. The place has a nice homely Indian decor, colorful yet not too flashy and a lot of booths which is more convenient for a family. We ordered the paneer makhani (ie butter paneer) and garlic naans and both were perfectly cooked. My mother who's really fussy about her food liked it too! My wife had taken a chicken biryani and l tasted a spoonful... no complaints there either! Also there's a small bar if you choose to have some drinks to go with your food. My mother doesn't like cold water so they actually warmed it to room temperature and served it to her."
"Very clean open space with friendly staff. Food choices are pretty standard for an Indian restaurant but the quality was good. Many vegetarian choices! Don't forget the naan!"
"Food was amazing and came in a timely matter. The staff was so kind and were able to answer any questions we had about the menu. Definitely worth stopping in and trying their delicious dishes!!"
"So I've been going to BS for years but I've never written a review. This is our first time going back after the truck hit the building. As always food was delicious, we just went before the buffet and had a nice quiet lunch. We got Tikki Masala, Lamb Rogan Josh, Saag Paneer with Roti and Garlic Naan, everything was tasty. Service was courteous and attentive, not a single issues. We will probably patron this restaurant as long as we live in this area. If you've never tried Indian food, your missing out. Easily some of the best food on earth. Stop by and try Bombay, it's worth it."
"I was craving some Indian food in Cleveland and this one did not disappoint! The samosas were nice and crispy and the included sauce kicked it up a notch! The chicken tikka masala and chicken vindaloo looked like small portions at first, but there was definitely enough meat/substance in the curries, and just less sauce for dipping naan. When I placed my takeout order over the phone, I appreciated that they told me the approximate time that the food would be ready before I ordered. They also asked the spice level that I would like my food to be-- I asked for medium spice and they definitely delivered that!! P.S. The garlic naan was tasty!!!!"
"I forgot to take pictures but after initial disappointment, we ended up thoroughly enjoying our dishes and the prices were very reasonable as well as the portions. I went in hoping to get the South Indian thali and when I got to the restaurant they had a veg thali that didn't include the dosa or other s. Indian items. We tried to order that but we're told they only had Thalis on weekdays, it was a Sunday. Instead, we ordered bhindi masala, which is chopped differently than pictured on the website but was still good, Chana masala, cheese naan and garlic naan as well as butter chicken and raita. Rice came with all 3 of our main dishes. The raita never came but was also not on our bill so they must not have processed or possibly didn't hear the order. My kids loved everything, especially the cheese naan and rice, though I found the rice a bit dry. The mango lassi was a hit! The whole family ended up enjoying the food. I'll return. Great service as well!"
"The Sunday buffet was excellent. I think this will ll be good for the area. 17.99 for a small but extremely well prepared buffet. Vegetarian and chicken dishes. It was fresh and well spiced. They kept the buffet full. One thing to note is that the tandori chicken is green. That is due to the fact they do not put red dye in the recipe. Case kids rejoice."
"Small restaurant in Munroe Falls. Really friendly staff answered questions, made suggestions and were attentive. The space is nothing special but the food was really good. I love Indian food, so it's up my alley. Three of us shared a few order of naan. My favorite was the garlic. I can't pass up naan. I ordered mango chicken. Really delicious and with good heat. The fresh mango was a great addition. My friends shared his lamb vindaloo and raved about the flavorI'll definitely return to try another dish."
"My BF and I loved this place! We were craving momos and noodles and we got exactly that here. It's a standalone location with its own parking lot in what looks like an abandoned, nondescript building. Inside, there's seating available, a bar and a small stage with club lighting. Bollywood music videos play while obnoxious bass pumps out of the speakers. We were there for a late lunch, so we asked for the bass to be turned down. Another customer actually had to help with this because at first, only the sound was turned off while the bass was still bumpin'. They have a simple and concise menu with plenty of offerings. We got the chicken chowmein, pork momos and pork thupka. All was delicious, colorful, beautiful and tasty. Good portions, reasonable prices and friendly service. I definitely want to come back and try more of their dishes!"
"Stopped in to Himalayan Restaurant to have the lunch buffet to see how the new management is doing. Although I was the only one eating in the restaurant they were doing a nice takeout and delivery business. Located on Lorain Road in a standalone building is a nice compact restaurant. There is a compact, but nice dining room. The lunch buffet is set up in the front area to your right as you come in the front door. The buffet is $12 per person. The buffet is nicely set up and fresh. There was 2 chicken dishes, two vegetarian dishes plus rice, vegie chow mein, pakora, salad, fruit and dessert. I was very impressed with the food I tried, everything was fresh and the flavors were really distinct and the spices were well balanced. The Dal and the vegetable Korma were both quite tasty if a bit soupy. The fried pakora were some of the best I have had, perfectly fried to a crispy exterior and delicious inside. The plain chow mein was simple, but very flavorful. The fresh Naan that was delivered to the table was excellent as well. A good selection of sauces and pickles complimented the meal as well.Ending the meal with some nice fresh melon and a couple of the warm Gulab Jamun, crisp dumplings in a sweet sauce. Yummy. The lunch buffet and the food overall at Himalayan Restaurant is excellent. Flavors are really good and the food is very well prepared. I would have liked to see more of the Nepali items on the buffet as opposed to the Indian food items, but it is hard to complain when the food is this good."
"I was very excited to learn about a fast casual Indian Restaurant coming to Lake County. On my first visit i was not disappointed. In the vein of a Pizza Fire, or Moe's Southwest grill... where ingredients are assembled in a Burrito or Bowl. I love the fresh ingredients and the fast friendly service i get."
"The food is fantastic. We ordered Samosas, Garlic Naan, Palak Paneer, and Chicken Curry, and came with Biryani more than plenty for two people. We have leftovers yay!! Loved the Paneer. We drove directly from Toronto, planning to get to our hotel after dinner. Well... surprise... there is no dining-in only carry-out. Oops!! Not reflected on Yelp or their outside sign. Service was friendly and helpful we got our food to carry out to our hotel very quickly. We enjoyed our meal after a long drive."
"I was seriously craving Indian food after being out of the country for 2 months and this did not disappoint! I ordered a few things so that I could try them and have them throughout the week. The tika masala chicken was really good, and when you ask for milder flavors that's what you get. I also had the lamb korma, and some garlic naan. There cauliflower ghobi Manchurian dish was fantastic. They have take out only. FYI."
"My brother told me about Chennai Delicacy a couple months ago while we were discussing his favorite vegan places. When he said it is also his favorite Indian place in the Cleveland area, I immediately bookmarked on Yelp. The owner is a cheerful and helpful guy. He worked as an engineer and his wife as a doctor prior to opening the place. I am glad that they followed their passion for food and now serve up fine South Indian cuisine. Their scientific and mathematical precision are evident in the dishes. Everything is made fresh and in house. Not every Indian restaurant in the area can boast this. They also cater to a few of the local hospitals including the Cleveland Clinic and Metro.Sometimes there are language and culture barriers for vegan customers at ethnic restaurants. This is not the case at Chennai Delicacy. I went to Chennai for lunch today with my friend and wife. The staff was very accommodating to Liz and her vegan dietary restrictions. All of the meat is halal for any of the carnivorous members of the Muslim faith. There is a small table to eat at in the store although the food is prepared in to-go containers. They will gladly heat up a meal if you wish to eat inside. There is a $15 credit cart minimum. The portions are generous and can be stretched out to multiple meals. My favorites thus far have been the chicken biryani and guntur chicken. The guntur chicken has an excellent dry spice rub. I plan on having a few beers out on the town tonight and coming back home to this as a nightcap."
"The food was amazing, and we had outstanding service. The restaurant is very pretty and has an upscale feel with table cloths and cloth napkins. I had the tikka masala and garlic naan. Both were delicious. I also had the vegetable/dal soup, which is a new favorite of mine!!"
