"If you haven't stopped here yet.... what are you waiting for?!? We drove up for the day to golf and were looking for something, not a chain and Mile's did not disappoint! We ordered a Jumbo Gyro and Chicken philly, both were delicious and flavorful. Made to order and Fresh and Hot. The fries are the fair type and very good. We don't make it up to Ashtabula often, but we will definitely be back! Do yourself a favor and get the Jumbo~ you won't be disappointed!!"
"It was my first time here and I was very impressed! We walked in on a Saturday evening, it was 5:30. There was only one table occupied, but apparently all the other tables were spoken for with reservations bc we were told we needed to be out by 6:30. We were seated next to the fireplace and it was super cozy! Our server was warm, welcoming, positive, and friendly. She was awesome! We got spinach pies and the spicy hummus for an app and both were delicious!! We each got a "gyro" for our meal. My husband got a chicken one and I got the eggplant one. We agreed they were both good, but would want to try something else next time. The surprising winner was the little side salad our meals came with. The dressing was DELICIOUS ! I loved how many vegetarian options there were here! We 100% recommended and will come visit again!"
"This was my first time eating here. We chose to eat inside, the food was alright, I was disappointed with the sauce on the Gyro, it wasn't tzatziki sauce. The restaurant inside was really nicely decorated, but they need to do better housekeeping, it was pretty dirty. If I eat there again I would probably just get takeout. But I'll probably just try a different place instead next time. Oh and they added a $3.15 "Non cash adjustment charge " to the bill, Idk what that means, but it was shady."
"I thought the gyro guys was a solid stop for a gyro! We got a colossal and a Greek salad. I loved the gyro, it was huge, simple and delicious! We ordered and the food was bright directly to our table. While we were sitting there, a bunch of people came in and the phone kept ringing which led to about a 30 minute wait for those who walked in after the rush. Overall, I would definitely check this place out, it was delicious"
"The food at euro gyro is so amazing!!! The menu has a lot of great options and the restaurant itself was very clean! The bartender/ hostess was so sweet and was very helpful. If you have the time I'd definitely recommend a stop to EuroGyro"
"After a long day of biking at Presque Isle, cruising the coast and fishing at Geneva State Park, we were eager to bike into town for a bite to eat before cruising back home to Cortland, Ohio. As we biked down the road, Mike's popped out clear at day. The menu is quite simple: gyros, gyros, or gyros. Just depends on the size and the topics. My wife got there regular and I got the jumbo (extra meat). The gyros were amazing! A little pricey, especially for no sides, but what can you expect for a tourist destination during peak season."
"My new favorite gyro place! Generous meat portions and the taziki sauce is superb! On the plus side they have pizza also. I would not say the pizza is the greatest but it's also not their namesake. Kind of reminded me of pizza when it was served in elementary school but obviously better. Wasn't too greasy.Easy parking and bravo to the beer collection. Well stocked!"
"Two Words -- Momma's Cooking. You can really tell that there is so much love that goes into everything that they do. The Food -- Everything is amazing. If you looked at the prices, you would think "okay, what's the catch" But don't let the low prices fool you! The food is amazing! Everything is fresh, and it tastes amazing. There has not been a meal I have gotten that I did not like. My go to is the burger, and it's always cooked to perfection. Even though it's not on the menu, they do have oatmeal, and I always get it for breakfast. Atmosphere -- the severs are always kind, prompt, and attentive. "Mom" is always in the back helping out, or sometimes, she is getting drinks to all of her customers. You can tell they treat people like family, because we get the same feeling as customers. I've only ever had one issue, and that is they forgot to give me maple syrup with our order -- we had just moved, so we couldn't find it at home, so I had to go back to get it. However, they were super kind about it, and apologized. Would highly recommend if you want an easy, cheap, and delicious breakfast/lunch!"
"This is one of the well kept local secrets! I think this is the best Gyro you can get in Cleveland and it wont break the bank!"
"Tomatoes are just small, diced tomatoes less than 10 cubes(not wedges as shown in picture) . No seasoning on pita or tomatos. We asked for no onions. :) they did not add, Thankyou.Tastes like the bag of gyro from Costco. I was not impressed with the quality of meat... very dry, and seems like it was made another day ago. The portion of Meat is a lot, but the quality is not. I purchased three regular gyros,(almost $40) and for the price I paid I probably would not be going back. They did not have any additions. Just the three gyros, no fries no sides nothing else for $36.24Also our kids did not like the seasoning of the food they did not eat 1 bite.(under 5years of age) The taZieke sauce was missing something, but it tasted fresh. Also, if you have any kind of lactose issue, stay away from the sauce, you will be occupied for the next hour or two. :P lol Enjoy!"
"The owner is almost always behind the counter and you are greeted in a familiar, he knows you kind of vibe. They were open during the lockdown and I really respect how he cared about his employees (because that matters just as much as the food). When people are happy to work, the food is prepared with love and you can taste it. Now to food...try the Aegean...thank me later. I also pick up their Junior cheeseburger for my children and the baklava is the owners' grandma's recipe. It's the truth!"
"went for lunch on a Thursday. I ordered the fried chicken salad, minus most of the veggies with honey mustard dressing.we were on our way home from vacation and wanted drinks with lunch. they appear to have a full bar. I got my seltzer and om had wine. the salad was good, appears to have been plain old iceberg lettuce, exactly the way I want it. I couldn't eat it all, lots of chicken left. it was very good. We had chili cheese fries. mom had a rueben and Steve had the chili cheese pasta. Service was ok, she was not overly great, but not horrible. Bathrooms were clean and respectable."

Very solid American style Gyro! Overall, nothing to complain about here. The meat, though it was the standard ground mystery lamb, was really hot, juicy and flavorful. The pita was of great quality, and they did not skimp on the Tzatziki sauce! Ordered the Jo-Jos (potato wedges), rather than fries, and they were great too. And the serving size was ginormous. I still have enough for lunch tomorrow, which is pretty dope. The only thing holding me back from a 5-star rating is the fact that I am spoiled when it comes to gyros and döner kebabs, having lived in Europe for years. So, maybe I should have been fair and only compared it to gyros in the US. That being said, for an American gyro, it was pretty top notch.

Taki's Greek Kitchen is a hidden gem in Avon Lake, Ohio. It is a small, family-owned restaurant that serves authentic Greek cuisine. The menu features a wide variety of appetizers, salads, entrees, and desserts. I had the lamb shank, which was slow-cooked and falling off the bone. It was served with a side of roasted vegetables and rice. I ordered take out and waited at the bar for my order. I over heard fun conversation between the bartender and what seemed several regular patrons. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. My order came in an acceptable wait time and was packaged perfectly for transport. Overall, I highly recommend Taki's Greek Kitchen. It is a great place to enjoy a delicious and authentic Greek meal.

Had the gyro and side salad. This place has great gyros. My only complaint is the pita was a little tired. I know they can get that way if they sit out for even 20 minutes, but this one was on the brink of being too far gone. I wish they would have made the decision to use a different one, but the sandwich was still great. The side salad has the house dressing. It's wonderful. Garlicky and salty with hints of lemon and not too much olive oil. Very light and fresh. Really nice alternative to the typical fries.Service was pretty quick, and the place is clean. Very nice.

Clean and modern, which is to say they put great thought into their restaurant. I had the Gyro, and fries with a drink special. Fries were very good, not limp. The Gyro was a good portion and got all the way through, great, considering today is a bit chilly. Steady foot traffic but not terribly busy, so no long waiting time, at least not on Thursday at 1:30 pm. Large selection on the menu, I'm looking forward to trying more items. 110% recommended, it's my first time here and they did not disappoint.Friendly service, a lot of food pickup too.

Every time I come to Euro, the food is ALWAYS amazing and never fails me. You're never waiting too long for your order and when you are waiting you can watch the game or some days they have open mic, so will definitely be entertained. Definitely a must have!

The gyros have always been great here. It seems like this year they have made a nice expansion to the left of the gyro stand. This new bigger booth specializes in shish kabobs and crepes. I had the gyro late Saturday night, which was delicious. Then, Sunday we had lunch on this block. I got the traditional pork kabobs on a bed of yellow rice. Very, very tasty! I followed them up with the Nutella and cookie crepe...fabulous! This was a definite win. It was coated with Nutella and had this cinnamon cookie crumble sprinkled all over. Then, it was folded into a to-go sleeve, which was convenient. This, place will continue to be a favorite in the future for sure.

We have ordered the Gyro dinner box a few times now and it is great! Great taste, hummus and tzatziki are very flavorful. A good amount of food in the box. You can tell that all of the ingredients are fresh. We will be back.

Moms deli is unassuming from the exterior, interior is newly renovated mom and pop type of shop. You walk in and are treated by "mom". Food is Mediterranean with a bit of American sprinkled in. My order was a jumbo gyro, which was served open faced. Open faced is a necessity because of the loads of gyro meat which makes it impossible to fold until you scarf down 1/4 of the meat. Tzatziki sauce was bountiful and had to be home made. Insider note: French fries on the side, are not worth the added cost.

"This place is great. Subs put Subway to shame in every way. The Gyro are outstanding. Salads are wonderful and more than a meal. The staff are very friendly and listen to you about your preferences. They are fast so waiting in line is never a real problem. You. Can always call in your order and it will be ready when you arrive. Enjoy"
"Delicious gyros and very reasonably priced. The people up front are friendly and everything seams to be clean. Try to order ahead during the lunch hour because they seem to get pretty busy during the lunch hour."
"Great place to take the family for breakfast or lunch! The service and food here is excellent, and we come here at least 3 times a week. Long live diners! Please support your locally owned and run diners/family restaurants, as they are an important part of the community and landscape (and a great value compared to the overpriced national chains)! Places like Goody's, Joe's Deli & Diner, Blue Sky, Gene's Place, George's Kitchen, etc."
"Stopped in for lunch with a friend who recommended it. He has a keen foodie sense and this was no different. I usually get lamb gyros, but thought I would try the chicken. It was delicious. Very well spiced and moist. The tzatziki sauce was excellent. The right amount of creamy, garlic and cucumber ! There were fries inside too which were tasty. I prefer more veggies on mine (tomatoes and lettuce) but didn't mark down for my preference. The taste was great as is!My friend got the lamb gyro and it also looked delicious! The gyro was so large, I took half home and enjoyed the next day!It is a small place, but we were able to sit inside. The service was friendly and quick! Will definitely be back !"
"A small owner operated business in Sylvania worthy of praise. Owner takes your order, answers the phone, prepares the food, boxes it up, then sends you on your way.No tables = no staff.Food was quite good and very generous portions. Prices are reasonable. If you have yet to give Gyro Town a try, please do the area a favor and patronize this worthy eatery. We need to support small business owners!"
"All I can say is WOW- this is a gas station and now I'm in love with gas station food!!"
"Hidden gem! Cute, clean, quick Med food hidden next to a car repair shop. Much larger inside than it appears. Great menu! Very nice staff. And most importantly, fabulous food, fair prices. I had the falafel sandwich, live how they made it as a wrap, vs a messy folded pita. Very flavorful and fresh. Dolma were excellent, and filled with numerous spices. All the food I saw being made looked great. Open concept kitchen where you can see the staff making food, knowing it's clean and fresh is great. Order at counter, sit, and wait for your ticket to be called type establishment."
"I love mom and pop restaurants. I loved the atmosphere, friendly staff and great food. My friend and I stopped for lunch and our meals were really good. I had a meatloaf special. Very generous portion of meatloaf with real mashed potatoes. It was very good. My friend had a Reuben sandwich with French fries. Both meals were reasonably priced and enjoyable. I'll be back."
"Yummy, yummy, yummyJunk salad FTW. Will definitely be back. Close to BG college. 10-15 minutes away."
"I had a wonderful experience from start to finish. Placed my order ahead of time, longer wait due to how BUSY they were today cause of St. Patty's Day. Didn't mind. Showed up at my time and was greated with food ready to go for me. Grabbed 2 pieces of baklava I forgot to post too. Got the Rueben with thousand island and a (small) greek salad. Got home and it was all still so fresh, so full of flavor it was unreal. Ate the entire salad in 15 minutes. The sandwich is GIANT and well worth the price. Came with a pickle. The baklava was so rich and sweet and the perfect ending to this amazing lunch. I already have so many things I wanna go back to try! 10/10 recommend going here, don't wait anymore! (CALL AHEAD YOUR ORDER!!)"
"Great service, breakfast was plentiful and prices are reasonable. We ate a great breakfast with coffee for two and we were at $18.49. There are other breakfast choices that would have made that even less."
"They served us some of the best Middle Eastern food in Northeast Ohio. The falafel wrap was especially delicious -- moist and flavorful falafel with a crispy surface wrapped in fresh, steamed pita bread. Fantastic hummus and tabouli, too. The service was friendly and attentive. We're destined to become regulars."
"Wonderful little eclectic restaurant. Food was wonderful and the wait staff is awesome. Highly recommend"
"I have been there several times and the owner and staff are always friendly. My coworkers and I always look forward to going there to eat"
"Gluten free gyros, flat bread and more. A bit of heaven among the food chains in Sandusky. My hard to please mother loved her chicken gyro and my gluten free lamb gyro was great. The Greek salad was a little too salted, they need to wash the olives maybe but it was still good. They serve as a restaurant; sit down or take out, specialty store and wine shop. Amazing find here while on vacation!!! Excellent food and service."
"Yum!! Best gyro in Lorain! Shout out to Ali, great host of Nate's Marathon, home of the giant gyro!! YES, at a Marathon gas station.... he's got a very nice variety of gyros! Along with awesome sides, like red skinned potato salad, coleslaw & the pita chips with special dipping sauce is soo good! Then, to top off everything, you get a free Lorain journal or Elyria Chronicle with $10 purchase of fuel. #satisfiedcustomer"
"So - I've been to the Georgios international restaurant downtown and the is place is owned by the family son. I was very happy to learn this before ordering as the food I had downtown was fabulous. We met here with some friends and their littles. This place is very family friendly, but has a great bar section. We ordered a pizza and fries for the kiddos to share and a seasonal salad with chicken shish with some delicious green beans. The food was amazing and the service was fast."
"Some surprises here:1. Way bigger than you imagine from the outside.2. Really cool decorated on the inside. 3. Huge menu.We stopped in for a lunch and decided each to have a salad, they were magnificent. Delicious fresh salad, tomatoes olives feta and covered with GYRO and chicken meat, abundant and delicious. Prices seem very fair and the place is clean with good service. This is a good place and you owe it to yourself to step out for something new and different."
"OK I had to move the onions in the meat around but I love this lunch. Let me just say these are the only fries that I can eat even when they're cold they didn't come cold, but this is a lunch pick up for today and it took me a few minutes to go get mine.. I love this place and hopefully someday I'll eat there. Instead at my work desk."
