"My husband and I stopped here for lunch on a recent visit to Cleveland and oh man was it delicious!! It's a pretty small spot and when we walked in, no one else was there. But we must have just gotten there right in time because while we ate, a steady stream of folks came in for lunch. I opted for build your own tacos - one chicken, one chorizo and one barbacoa. Each was just as good as the last. It's similar to Chipotle where you walk down the line and let them know what you'd like to add and they had plenty of yummy toppings. My husband had a burrito and enjoyed his as well. Chips and salsa (we had the pico) were also perfect. They make a great pico. This really hit the spot and I would highly recommend stopping by!!"
"That waffle is phenomenal chefs kiss. So perfect doesn't even need syrup. Sweetened to perfection.I didn't really like the sweet potatoes they should be way more sweet."
"Bearden's wears its aesthetic influences on its sleeve, with a nostalgic 50's diner vibe and unassuming yet delicious food. It is very much a fast food restaurant--so don't expect table service or the like--but as long as you are looking for a quick and easy restaurant Bearden's will absolutely satisfy your cravings and your wallet.I tried the "big bear," onion rings, and an Oreo milkshake. All 3 were excellent! The food came out extremely quickly and was also pretty affordable. Very fun stop!"
"Stopped by here whilst driving on Cedar and couldn't be happier! The burgers are offered in beef or Turkey Patties...cooked to perfection! Very juicy and meaty. The fries are also seasoned perfectly!"
"The Crispiest Chick in town has warranted the stars of Yelp, all 5 of them to be exact, so I guess it's time for a review! My first time at The Crispy Chick I tried the signature sandwich. It was comprised of crispy chicken tenders topped with fresh coleslaw. The tenders were resting on a bed of pickles complimented with a nice portion of their amazing house sauce. It was served on a soft, warm and fresh brioche bun to deliver a phenomenal result that would raise the eyebrows of every tastebud. I was impressed that a fast food chicken joint that I never heard of could make the most amazing chicken sandwich I've ever had! They made me forget about my favorite popular chain. Now when I think chicken sandwich, I think Crispy Chick! My second time I had a hard time deciding to try something new but somehow I knew I wouldn't be disappointed...and I wasn't! This time I tried the wrap. The wrap was stuffed with crispy chicken tenders, lettuce, red onions, shredded cheddar cheese and their amazing house sauce. GOTTA HAVE THAT SAUCE! It was then finished off with a warm tortilla wrap to encompass the delicious greatness within. I honestly ordered the wrap to go lighter today but they don't skimp like other wraps! This thing delivers and packs a punch to the gut. I am stuffed, but happy! You will not be disappointed with The Crispy Chick! In fact, you'll probably become her side dude and without saying any names, make your main CHICK FIL A certain way and start to wonder why you haven't visited in awhile! Just saying! Get there!!"
"Who doesn't love getting Shake Shack every once in a while, and when you stumble upon it when you least expect it, it gets even better. We arrived after a night of drinking, and right when it opened at 11am. We were the first customers of the day. It was within walking distance of our hotel too, so bonus!I ordered the Shack Burger without cheese and on a gluten free bun, with crinkle cut fries. My boyfriend had the same. The lady who took our order was ridiculously friendly and that day I was wearing a shirt about rescuing, adopting, and fostering dogs. She then told us about adopting her pit bull during the pandemic and I wanted her to be my friend instantly. The way to my heart is adopting a pit bull. She also wished us a good day when we were leaving and I wanted so bad to ask her if I could see a picture of her dog, but knew it probably wasn't appropriate, as she was on the job. The food came out extremely quickly and was delicious. I wish Buffalo would get a Shake Shack. The fries are crispy and the burger is a great fast food burger."
"My family and I went here for our first time this past weekend while adventuring our way around Cuyahoga. We liked our visit here much better than our visits to Swenson's in the past. We will be going here instead when we have a burger craving while out that way!Better service, and the food quality was better, as well. Also loved their attention to the kids in the family with regards to the kids meals. We had the '52 combo, the sky-hi combo, and a bunch of the kids meals. All were great!"
"First time visiting the palace. It's nestled into a small shopping center and easy to pass. The gentleman working was very engaging, friendly, and shared good info about their freshly made pierogis. The selection was pretty impressive and seems to have some specialty ones daily. Chose the traditional potato and cheese as well as the Buffalo chicken. They are good size and clearly fresh. Sold in half dozen or dozen increments. They also have a nice space for tables and serve food as well. The pierogis cooked well and tasted delicious. Found a new spot for sure."
"Doesn't look like much from the street. It's an old Kodak Photo building. Menus is simple. Hot dogs, sausage, chili dogs, chicken fingers, French fries, some coleslaw, etc. My husband has been trying to get me to try this place for years. Owner was super friendly, and for a quick drive up window service, the food was exactly what I expected. Sausage was tasty, and fries were crisp even after we got home. My husband loves the chili dogs, and my picky daughter ate all of her chicken tenders, so they must have been good. A great place for a quick stop when you're out running errands. Would definitely recommend."
"Take out from Dynamite Dawgs. Friendly staff greeted me upon entry. They appeared busy but flowed well. Order was up fairly quick. I got the Dynamite Dawg which was fantastic. Messy but the right amount of messy. My fries were good. My daughter got the poutine spuds which she loved. They were gone before I could share. They have a lot more Fair Food options which Ill be back to try. Check them out!"
"Speedy's has been my choice for several recent late night cravings. The chicken tenders are amazing: big, tender, juicy, and flavorful. I always buy them cooked to order, which only takes six minutes. Also notable are the gyros. The only thing I don't care for is the tzatziki sauce, solved by ordering with grub sauce and banana peppers, which was delicious. I have also tried the Philly steak, a huge sandwich made the Philadelphia way with the meat and cheese chopped up and mixed together. Yum!Staff is always friendly, and I think always trying their hardest to make the food as perfect as possible. Be sure to tip!"
"Good little drive in spot. Burgers and dogs were good, sides were good, but the milkshakes were great! A tried peanut butter banana milkshake and it is absolutely a new favorite. I would compare this place to a Swenson's."

I came for Cleveland Scene Magazine's Cleveland taco week. The tacos and chips were fresh and outstanding. I came on Saturday 4-20-24 around 11:20 AM. Pay a little extra and get chips and salsa.

Okay. A tad expensive but they do give you a ton of food. I think there are other chicken spots that are a tad better. We didn't have a little wait but they provided extra sauce for the delay.

Hey, this was mom's 1st try at Bearden's. She loves her cheeseburger. So after running around today with mom & wife they were hungry. My wife's suggestion was to go to Bearden's.... So guess what? Bearden's it is, my wife & I get our usual. Mom gets her go to burger a plain double cheeseburger with only bacon, who doesn't love that? Wish I got a Pic of it tell you it looks damn delicious. Mom loved the fountain pop & fries also. Wife grabbed the single with mayo, ketchup, onions & tomatoes. I got my favorite double cheeseburger with only heavy pickles. They forgot the pickle but they are awesome have me a bunch of pickles the way l love it. Picture shown. I just want to let the people who work there please keep up the job, they're great...***BUEN PROVECHO*** EDDY

This place is incredible. The service could've been better but their food makes up for it. Just look at that burger!!! Amazing portion for great price. The fries are INSANE. I don't know what they do or put on them but it's perfect every single time. It never fails to amaze me how good this burger is. Again, service could be better. But for once we didn't have to wait 20 min over our wait time to get the food so that was nice! I asked for no mustard and was given none this time so yay!!!

Stopped by to grab a bite because my boyfriend loves chicken tenders. The store says the tenders are made fresh to order so we had high hopes. The tenders ended up ok; the chicken was fresh but they could have been crispier. The fries were mediocre. The workers also forgot to give us both the sauce and the cole slaw that come with our meal. The best part was the garlic toast; the bread was soft and delicious, so I would recommend trying the chicken sandwich. The facilities/bathroom were also a bit grimy.

This location is very convenient. The staff was very nice and my food was tasty. The smoke shack has a spicy sauce and bacon and peppers. The fries were crinkled and were given to me at an optimal temperature. I chose a fountain drink as my beverage. The ginger ale was fresh. I will return if in the neighborhood.

I no longer live in the Akron area, but whenever I return I HAVE to go to Skyway. That was one of my favorite HS hangouts. Very respectable drive in food and it's a real drive in. In season. Heck, I'd recommend it if only for the sauerkraut balls. But everything is good.

Homemade pierogi, and a menu that changes constantly. At $1.50/pierogi, these are excellent value for the price. Some tips: skip the "taco" pierogi, and fry yours up at home for maximum freshness. If you have the store cook them, they'll do the entire order at once, and some of them may get cold before they pass your lips!

"Stopped for a quick lunch with my boy. Fast and super friendly staff. Food was quick and fast and hot! Especially enjoyed the burger, great flavor. Root beer was delicious! Great prices and really enjoyed the ease of pulling in, ordering and eating right at my car. Will def be back to try the coney dog!"
"We were disappointed with our sandwiches. Another patron asked if we thought our food was good because he didn't think it was good either. Seems to be a good local place aside from that."
"I had no idea Akron was the burger drive-in capital of the world. I mean....so many burger joints, so little time!I was only in Akron for a couple days, so I had to be selective with my choices. I liked what I had read about Dilly's and decided to give them a try. I think my favorite thing is their location. As other reviews have noted, there is an airport across the street so there's something to entertain while you're there. I had the Dilly Burger with fries while I enjoyed the view. It wasn't my favorite burger in Akron but I would return. Stars deducted for slow service, though. The carhops were friendly, but I waited awhile to be acknowledged (as the only car in the parking lot at the time, I didn't understand the wait). My biggest regret was not having the appetite or time to stop by Stricklands for dessert as suggested by Bill P."
"I don't normally give chain/fast food places five stars, but this place inspired me. They opened near my daughter's house and we go there often so I knew we would eat her as we like Cane's. About the time they finally opened the covid lockdown was in full swing. Because there is no other RC nearby this place was always packed with a long line at the drive through. Their lot is big and lots of room for many cars, so I can't fault them for the long lines at the drive through. Finally in Sept of 2022 I was in the area and hungry for Cane's and knew the dining room was open. I was immediately impressed with the big clean dining room with out door space, the staff was well organized and friendly. I have been to a few canes and always been happy, but I did leave her impressed. And yes, the food was perfect. PS love crushed ice for my soft drinks."
"The burger was delicious. The beef patty was juicy, the vegetables were fresh (no wilted lettuce & no suspicious tomatoes here!), the bacon was crispy, and the potato bun held it all together well. I also appreciated the service - the mobile order pick up process was easy and on time. The restaurant was clean, though I did wish there was seating with cushioning (but that's just me nitpicking). However, the burger was a bit expensive for a fast food burger considering the size (more than $8)."
"We ended up here as we were looking for a restaurant that wasn't part of a chain. Growing up in the area - I knew it would be a challenge to find such a place. However, I have no clue how the person who picked this found out about it. It is a BAR - not a restaurant. Being a former drinker, I have not stepped foot in a bar so probably 20 years. Prior to that - this might have been my kind of place. The clientele seemed to be older men. Then some younger men came in much later. The bar tenders were YOUNG and scantily dressed girls. Not slutty, just revealing a lot of skin. It was pretty clear we were the ONLY people just there for the food.So we seated ourselves at a table and the bartender/waitress brought us menus - took our drink orders. The menu had a front and back - and thank goodness - a SALAD FOR ME! The offerings were your basic bar food - and then some. Almost like a diner - burgers, sandwiches, pizzas, daily specials and ONE SALAD. The prices were cheap! All under $10.I got the salad and requested grilled chicken be added. My hubby got the burger and fries and his assistant coach got the pork tacos. Bartended did a pretty good job of keeping our drinks filled (although I was the only one with a fountain drink - but I drink quickly). My salad came out first. Hubby said to go ahead and eat (not politely wait for all food to show up) - as I eat slow. So I did. The salad was like a nice homemade chef salad. Iceberg lettuce with shredded cheese, mushrooms (canned), diced chicken and LOTS of croutons. I don't do croutons so my hubby was happy to take them off my plate. In fact, I think he was glad I didn't eat them as the other orders took FOREVER to come out. That was my observation - but neither of the other 2 with me even commented on the delay in their food. So I guess they were OK.The burger was a nice size and properly prepared - but hubby was surprised that there was no lettuce, tomato, etc. There was, however, LOADS OF FRIES. The fries were nicely deep-fried - to the edge of crispiness. Hubby later said he MIGHT have been able to eat all the fries (he did not) - had he not eaten several dozen of my croutons. I am told the pork taco was good - and they provided a to-go container for the extras and the eater can only eat small portions of food throughout the day. The assitant coach picked up the bill for us all so I don't know what the drinks cost. However, the price of food was so incredibly fair - I imagine they are priced well too.So as I started off by saying - this is a bar, not a restaurant. And for bar food - this is crazy good. And fair priced. I recommend you come here is you're looking for a decent meal at a decent price and want a full bar experience to boot."
"It is what it is. We have been there multiple times and the cheesesteaks are solid. The loaded tots are good. The chicken teriyaki sammy was pretty bland, wouldn't order again. The spousal unit got some Italian meat sub and said it was alright. The service is kinda lacking. I am not expecting fine dining but when you are told they won't answer the phone if they are busy and ordering online, even if you are picking up as a human and not door dash adds a charge , it is frustrating. My kid doesn't eat bread and I asked for extra meat , just on the side (& extra meat is a menu option)and was told no. I then told my kid I guess you can't eat anything here and the cashier didn't even blink. I sent him next door for a blizzard at DQ. He may have had a better dinner as I had the sad chicken teriyaki sammy on that night. There are tables to dine in if you want, but it it seems like a to go place. Cost is reasonable. If you aren't a glutton, you may be able to split a large sandwich between two folks. "
"Best Philly cheesesteak i've ever had outside of Philly. Need I say more! Service was friendly & quick. Ambiance was simple and all we needed."
"DP Dough had a great vibe, offered fantastic food fast, and is open late. Devon is amazing! He walked me through the menu and recommended the Combat Zone calzone. Being me, I had to get the tater tots."
"I don't know what it is about this mr. Hero. They seem to be better than all the rest. I've never had a bad romanburger here. They've been very consistent even under new ownership as of late."
"Love that we have a Cane's closer to home and super convenient to be near so much shopping. Their food is delicious. I love the Texas toast. The drink machine was not working so they had to get our drinks behind the counter. The food seemed to take a bit of time to be ready. We were in the dining room with almost no one in there, but the drive thru was pretty long. We ordered it for there and they packed everything up in a bag, so we had to dig everything out and open it all up."
"First impressions are very positive. Tried this place for the first time today. I was impressed with a clean and OPEN dining room. The cashier was particularly friendly and patient with me. As i explained I had never been in before and was not sure what to order. We finally decided on Bacon Deluxe Butterburger and Crispy Chicken Sandwich with Onion Rings and Fries respectively. We also got vanilla frozen custard with peanut butter. All told the meal was $26.77 which was admitted on the high end of what I might expect to spend. That said the food was excellent. I particularly enjoyed the Bacon Deluxe Butterburger and Onion Rings.I would definitely suggest a visit here."
"This is the newest location in Cleveland. Very clean building with friendly fast service. The chicken fingers tasted amazing. The fries were good. And the iced tea was very good. I'm glad I stopped and will for sure come back again. You have to come here and get your chicken fix."
"Really good burgers and service. They are like Five Guys. I would definitely recommend and I will be back."
"Four of us went today and tried a few different cheesesteaks and sides. I had the Ultimate Steak (small, half of the sandwich in the attached picture) and we split Onion Rings, Beer Battered Fries, and Loaded Tots. The Ultimate Steak was pretty good -- the roll was perfect and the added ingredients were pretty good, but the steak itself was just okay. I'd say it was a solid four out of five. The onion rings and beer battered fries were pretty solid. But the tots were just okay (a bit bland and overcooked). My wife got the Spicy Steak. Now, look, I know it has "spicy" right in the name, but there's a difference between spicy and inedible. And my wife, who is a bit of a heat-seaker, couldn't finish this sub. So, if you're considering the Spicy, think again, unless you have an iron mouth and stomach.Overall. This place is a firm four out of five."
"The chicken tenders were amazing crispy fries and that yummy buttery Texas toast The employees were super nice and the place was clean So check this place out My YELPERS"
"Ya know, we loved Jersey Mikes when we lives in SoCal - as Philadelphians it was as authentic as possible. Here though, it's touch and go. Sometimes its perfect and sometimes it is mediocre. Recently I cant figure out why there are certain items we regularly order and have delivered on their website and not on their delivery service menu. They get a lot wrong here - which did not happen in CA. So strange."
"Here's my general rule of thumb: if you plan on opening a restaurant in an overly saturated genre; you better offer something either phenomenal tasting, or uniquely your own. Slim Chicken's, unfortunately, doesn't offer either. Another entry into the chicken finger market, Slim Chicken's is basically Raising Cane's with a different front facade and logo. That's honestly all you need to know. However, if you want a deeper dive, here you go:THE GOOD: The *chicken fingers* were the best part of the meal. Similar to Cane's in size and meatiness, and I'd wager to say even a little better breading and crunch. They came out hot, juicy, and delicious. With the four-piece, you get one *sauce*. I wanted to try a few others, so I spent 39¢ each to get two more. I had the honey mustard, sweet red chili, and spicy BBQ. All the sauces were good, and appeared to be made in house. This was where the good experiences basically ended. THE BAD: The *fries* definitely left something to be desired. They were lukewarm, not seasoned at all, and small. There were also a lot of fragments and crumb pieces. On top of that, you didn't really get all that many for paying a premium price. Dipping in the sauces made them a bit more tolerable, but they certainly didn't stand on their own. The *sweet tea* was also kind of just ok. It was a little weak, which is kind of normal for Ohio, but I had high hopes regardless. I ended up switching to a Diet Coke after drinking about half my sweet tea. THE UGLY: Their *toast*. I'm really, really hoping this was just a bad batch, and not their normal. It was a single piece of extremely thin Texas toast, cut into triangles. They were sandpaper dry, burnt, and the one piece had about a third of it missing. With Cane's having absolutely delicious toast, this might be the thing that sinks Slim's. OVERALL IMPRESSION: It was extremely *meh*. For $12+, I was definitely hoping for more. The chicken was pretty good, and everything else was pretty bad. I have zero desire to want to go back and give them another chance. I may try again at some point after a few months, seeing as they are still extremely new. Unfortunately I don't think this is one of those "let them iron the kinks out" situations. I think Slim's is just a mid restaurant."
"The wings were absolutely fantastic. They were flavorful and crispy while still be juicy. My only comments are as follows: 20 wings for $40, not including tip? Too much; and the wings were not very hot at all. Again, flavorful but not 3/5 hot. We got the garlic Parmesan and habenero ranch rub."
"Very nice addition to Mentor, Jersey Mike's Subs has good subs. We enjoyed our subs that we chose, I got the club sub and my wife got the buffalo chicken philly. The place is nice and clean and the staff is friendly. We can tell they are new because they are still trying to figure things out. We waited there a while because they accidentally gave my sub to someone else so they had to remake it. The manager was nice enough to give us free drinks for the mixup. The ingredients taste very fresh and if I were to compare this to Subway I would say Jersey Mike's Subs is like the Target of subs and Subway is like the Walmart of subs."
"SInce the loss of Euclid's Papa Joe's, we have tried to find another sub shop that comes close. In my book, they had the best selection of hot and cold subs, pasta dishes and sides. They are the ONLY sub shop to offer deep fried onion rings. Thankfully, the Eastlake location is still open. After trying Jersey Mike's, we were pleasantly surprised. They offer the standard hot and cold subs and usual sides (bagged chips, etc .) and drinks. We enjoyed two hot subs, one #17 Mike's Famous Philly with grilled onions, peppers and white American cheese. Lots of nicely seasoned meat. Very "Philly" and filling. After arriving home, we "Phillified" it a bit more with a touch of Cheese Wiz. The second sandwich was a #56, the Big Kahuna Cheese Steak. With onions, peppers, jalapeños and extra American cheese, simply delightful!A good choice for a quick and satisfying meal. We'll be back."
"I had high hopes going in. A gas station that also makes food is a place I have a bit of a soft spot for. As for customer service I think I was discriminated against on account I have all my teeth, but I'm absolutely willing to look past that for good food. My sandwich (Italian) was sub par from the bread to the meats. The mozzarella sticks were served without marinara; After checking with North Ridgeville Police Department I was surprised to find out that this was not at least a misdemeanor because it should be. I'm willing to upgrade to 4 stars if on the next visit I try the gyro or something else hot and enjoy it."
"You've got to be kidding me. I'm grading a Shell gas station right now who knew this would ever happen.Okay I'm staying with a friend right down the street is a Shell gas station that's pouting fried chicken with signs all over the windows. Look it's that or Burger King Taco Bell or McDonald's within walking distance so I'm like screw it I'll check out some chicken and I walk into people are leaving and I asked a if you ever had chicken here is it any good to both occasions people smile and give a thumbs-up I'm going to go okay what's up with that. Additionally there's only one other review it's five stars I figured okay the owner reviewed himself can't blame him there. So the store is Middle Eastern own really super friendly people all smiles very very nice very friendly and welcoming I asked him a good luck on his side. Is is the chicken good I mean you got signs all over the windows is it absolutely should I order an 8-piece mixed dark and white meat he rushes over and gives me a fried boneless chicken strip I usually don't like these I'm not big on white meat chicken breast is always dried out always no matter where you go it's like finding a unicorn when you find a a chicken breast that's like moist and taste good that's just me.This chicken strip was freaking fantastic and I was just sort of hungry a little munchie it's not like I was starving and like anything taste good this chicken strip with outstanding I got my 8-piece brought it back to the house this chicken blows away KFC and I'm actually not a KFC fan and I've got to tell you it's on par if not possibly better yet different than Popeyes! So this is really a fantastic Fried Chicken store with a built-in convenience store the toy large by the way huge selection of everything that just happens this all gas outside I was really shocked and the food is Super Fresh they had pressure cookers and fires going in the background for chicken they had the steamy chicken in the glass window to order from this stuff is not been sitting around other people were leaving with chicken left and right the food is fresh it's delicious the customer service is warm inviting and friendly and if you like fried chicken your foolish not to stop in if you happen to be in the area. I'll be back probably a couple days can you eat fried chicken everyday but I will for sure be back maybe a 10 or 15 piece next time."
