"Definitely a dive bar.Not a "classy or upscale" establishment. Parking is limited. BUT, drinks are cheap, well made, and the food is classic fried inexpensive "bar food". This is a place for locals who don't want to dress up and pay high prices for cocktails downtown. We go here during home games at CSU and order cheap pitchers of beer to share and get excellent treatment by the staff. They really love having CSU students and families come in."
"This was my first time at the Eastlake location. Had a terrific Smash burger with fries and onion rings. Definitely my favorite burger spot. The server was very nice and attentive despite the fact that the bar was full. My only negative comment is that the volume of the music was very loud. Good music but we were right near the speakers and couldn't hear each other talk"
"Second try of this place and liked my food even more this time. My husband and I both ordered the open faced roast beef and it was delicious ! Portions were more than enough . Would eat again!"
"Chill, low-key neighborhood spot. The cocktails are tasty, the drink specials are cheap, the service is good & welcoming, and the wings ROCK!! (Definitely get the wings!)This is a great date place and there is plenty of room for groups. PS - Remember to fat tip your bartender!"
"My wife and I stopped here for lunch while we waited on an oil change at our Kia dealer. The fish sandwich was awesome and the staff super nice snd friendly. We met the owner who was incredibly nice snd has great plans to extend the menu; her family also owns Whiteys which is a great place in Richfield. We will definitely stop back."
"I have enjoyed this bar for the last 6 years. It is my home away from home.Along with the amazing food and old school vibes it has an AMAZING comedy scene on Wednesdays, INCREDIBLE trivia on Tuesdays, and ULTIMATE RUSTIE KARAOKE on Fridays/Saturdays!If you're looking for a bar that has that "bar feel" this is the spot. Awesome prices, delicious food, fun, sometimes loud and most of all customer-first service!!!"

So even though I have driven by this x number of times, I actually came across this place from an Uber Eats promotion! They have typical bar food but as I was opting for delivery, I went with a pizza. Let's see how it holds up to the One Bite tm* test...Immediately what caught my attention was the Meaty Margherita Pizza which is a traditional marg except with sausage and pepperoni. I don't want to complain (I love you Dana) because the pizza was still fine but it was lacking basil (gasp*)!! I reread the description like 4 times just to be sure but chopped basil is like one of two ingredients for a Margherita and maybe it was during peak hours or maybe a new chef but for me it just missed the mark. The crust, sauce, other toppings were great which really made me see the potential.Overall, not bad food or prices but I may have to make a stop in during a Browns game to see if things are any different.

Some places will surprise you with a cool atmosphere or food that you weren't expecting; then there is Union House which was exactly what it seems to be a dive bar/restaurant with decent food. Union House is suppose to have a great Friday fish fry so I gave them a try.Walking into Union House you find a dimly lit room with no real decor to speak of. The front half of the large room is the dining area with ordinary tables and chairs, the back half is a large bar area, there is even an old school bowling machine.I ordered the Clam Chowder and the Fish Fry. The bowl of Chowder was decent sized with enough clams and potatoes, but there was nothing terribly distinctive about it. The fish was a nice sized Cod fillet, battered and fried. The batter was good, but the fish underneath was just ok. The fries and slaw were both acceptable, but there was nothing that I could have picked as special or different. I love a good dive as much or more than most people, but for a dive to make it as one of my favorites, there has to be some sort of vision or inspiration that raises it above just average, unfortunately for me Union House did not have any such spark.

LVT is the best bar in Lakewood. Or maybe it seems that way because I am always drunk in there. Steak dinner for $7. The wings are pretty good. I think it is a good place to go. Madison bars are always the right choice. This place still kind of sucks, but the whole world kind of sucks.

What a great fun, little local bar! Debbie behind the bar was super nice and introduced us to the proprietor. They have a daily dinner menu. We ordered the Stromboli; it was perfect sized for sharing and really reasonably priced. Regulars were nice, too! Bought me and my better half a round - thanks Ronnie! Btw, drinks are also reasonably priced.A cute local joint that embraces neighborhood community by celebrating monthly potluck dinners, and free pool nights. We will definitely return! this place (despite the overwhelming cig smoke - suck it my California friends!)!!

Hubby and I stopped in on Friday night. I was craving some wings and we had ordered grub hub from here last year and decided to check it out in person. I cannot say enough about how good the food was!!! We ordered the Mozzarella Triangles for an appetizer, and honestly they were the best fried mozzarella I have ever eaten (and I love fried mozzarella) there were 4 triangles but but they were huge, and the perfect temp. Not lava hot where you couldn't eat them for 20 minutes. I ordered wings which were huge and well worth the money, hubby got the patty melt and said that was delicious as well. We each had 2 rounds. I had 2 Tito's and soda ($4) each hubby had 3 beers. Total was $50 can't beat that! The staff was friendly and attentive, it is a small space but the tables seemed to move pretty quickly. For as small as it is it didn't feel crowded. We will most likely be frequenting now that we know how good everything is!

"This is a Cleveland bar. It's got a pool table, a rottweiler, a country-music blaring jukebox, and regulars who didn't get the memo about the city-wide smoking ban... and I absolutely love it. The owner is a nice lady who sits at the bar and shoots the shit with you for a minute. The rottweiller, Shiloh, is the sweetest dog you'll ever meet. If you stick a dollar in your back pocket, she'll steal it and let you chase her around the pool table. [Shiloh's dollars end up in a donation jar to help fight breast cancer.]Cleveland bars are generally cheap, but this one is ultra-cheap. Also it has inexpensive and amazing bar food. We always end up ordering mozzarella sticks in the "keep 'em coming" kind of way. Grab a game of pool or watch a game on one of the TVs.... Play around on the jukebox [which has non-country music too] and marvel at the John Wayne-themed bar [no joke]...All the while not breaking the bank. [$1 Genny cans are the real deal here]. I've gone here with just boys, mixed groups, and just my group of girlfriends and have always been please in every situations. No weirdos talk to you. It's just a bunch of locals trying to forget about the day and I'm happy to join them. It's such a great dive that even the Ugly Broad cartoon mascot [who is REALLY ugly] couldn't keep me away. Five stars!"
"5 million kinds of wings.Ok, this is a slight exaggeration. They do have an obscene amount though...something like 50 or so. They run an all-you-can-eat-wings for $6.50 special during the week. Unfortunately, we arrived a little late for that, but we still got some tasty wings. After 6p, they only have limited sauce options, but they did us a favor and whipped up some Hot Garlic Parmesan. Excellent! Lots of huge chunks of garlic. We also ordered fried mushrooms. Nine times out of ten, I am disappointed when I order them at a bar. The pre-fab frozen breaded mushrooms can be downright disgusting and soggy. Not so at the Seven Hills Tavern. These fried mushrooms were some of the best I have ever had! I saw the bartender put some beer in a bowl while we were waiting for our food. I was wondering what she was doing. Apparently, the homemade beer batter is mixed up fresh for each order. They also use really large, whole fresh mushrooms. I would go back just for these mushrooms. I can't say much for the fountain Coke, but at a $1 plus free refills, I wasn't really complaining. You really can't expect a good fountain soda at a corner bar anyway. This little "old man" bar has been around for centuries, complete with wood paneling on the walls. I think the only import beer you can expect to find is Heineken. But what you will find is surprisingly good bar food. I heard the steak sandwich is pretty popular as well. I'm already drooling for more fried mushroom :)"
"Alright so here is the deal... I've been searching for the best service around town, and I found exactly that at frogtown johnnies. Carmen and Bob were by far the best waiter & waitress their. Carmen makes the most excellent popcorn while Bob serves the best alcohol. Thank you will be back"
"We ended up here as we were looking for a restaurant that wasn't part of a chain. Growing up in the area - I knew it would be a challenge to find such a place. However, I have no clue how the person who picked this found out about it. It is a BAR - not a restaurant. Being a former drinker, I have not stepped foot in a bar so probably 20 years. Prior to that - this might have been my kind of place. The clientele seemed to be older men. Then some younger men came in much later. The bar tenders were YOUNG and scantily dressed girls. Not slutty, just revealing a lot of skin. It was pretty clear we were the ONLY people just there for the food.So we seated ourselves at a table and the bartender/waitress brought us menus - took our drink orders. The menu had a front and back - and thank goodness - a SALAD FOR ME! The offerings were your basic bar food - and then some. Almost like a diner - burgers, sandwiches, pizzas, daily specials and ONE SALAD. The prices were cheap! All under $10.I got the salad and requested grilled chicken be added. My hubby got the burger and fries and his assistant coach got the pork tacos. Bartended did a pretty good job of keeping our drinks filled (although I was the only one with a fountain drink - but I drink quickly). My salad came out first. Hubby said to go ahead and eat (not politely wait for all food to show up) - as I eat slow. So I did. The salad was like a nice homemade chef salad. Iceberg lettuce with shredded cheese, mushrooms (canned), diced chicken and LOTS of croutons. I don't do croutons so my hubby was happy to take them off my plate. In fact, I think he was glad I didn't eat them as the other orders took FOREVER to come out. That was my observation - but neither of the other 2 with me even commented on the delay in their food. So I guess they were OK.The burger was a nice size and properly prepared - but hubby was surprised that there was no lettuce, tomato, etc. There was, however, LOADS OF FRIES. The fries were nicely deep-fried - to the edge of crispiness. Hubby later said he MIGHT have been able to eat all the fries (he did not) - had he not eaten several dozen of my croutons. I am told the pork taco was good - and they provided a to-go container for the extras and the eater can only eat small portions of food throughout the day. The assitant coach picked up the bill for us all so I don't know what the drinks cost. However, the price of food was so incredibly fair - I imagine they are priced well too.So as I started off by saying - this is a bar, not a restaurant. And for bar food - this is crazy good. And fair priced. I recommend you come here is you're looking for a decent meal at a decent price and want a full bar experience to boot."
"Always a positive experience at the Mill. They have a long bar for good seating. A handful of tables. They have a few TVs and Keno. Good beer selection, generous pours on drinks, and good bar food. Fish fry was pretty good. Nice portions."
"I went to Casey Jones Tavern for the second time last night. One of my best friends lives in Lakewood fairly close to this bar, so we decided to check it out!The first time I went I ordered pierogies with a side of sour cream for my friend and I to share. This time I ordered the nachos. I don't know if they automatically come with jalapeños, but I made sure to order some. I love spicy foods!Their drinks are inexpensive and strong, and the bar staff ladies are so friendly and fun! I love chatting it up with them! Both times we went to Casey Jones Tavern it was a Friday, and they have karaoke. The karaoke set up is really fun! They have disco lights and a huge screen that shows the words, as well as a smaller TV for the words that faces the stage. Additionally, they have microphone stands, which is useful because sometimes you don't want to hold the microphone! We'll definitely be back to Casey Jones tavern!"
