"I've only ordered takeout but when I walk in, they greet me like friends.I'm partial to corned beef and my hubby loves pastrami and both were delicious. They lose a star for not having free parking."
"Showed up in time to enjoy happy hour and it was DELICIOUS! We ordered lamb meatballs, koi hoisin pork belly, and mussels with togarashi puree. The meatballs were tender, moist, cheesy, and flavorful (ngl gave luxury ikea meatballs and I wasn't mad about it). The pork belly was a mouthful of flavor and texture, with crisp skin, and beautiful celeriac puree combined with the crunchy pickle/kimchi radish. The mussels made fun to play with tiny forks, grilled sourdough bread, rich and perfectly cooked but definitely not enough bread for scooping up a sauce so good. Unfortunately unimpressed by the marg, but the Elder Collins made up for it. We continued with the epic eats and had the charred octopus and duck bucatini. I'm a sucker for anywhere that serves octopus in a single tentacle over pieces and this one lived up to it. Cooked to perfection with complimentary flavors and textures combining bites of octopus, crispy potatoes, and salsa verde was incredible. The duck bucatini featured housemade ground duck sausage and bucatini from the local Flour Pasta Co. Incredible flavors, creamy but not heavy, somehow light and a bit citrusy, fresh yet rich with the duck. We ran out of room before getting to the pie (which is apparently one of their showstoppers) but we are looking forward to returning sooner than I think. The ambiance was fun, beware it gets surprisingly dark once the sun is down for the day. My only complaint was the marg (feels to easy to get wrong) and we did get asked by the server a bit excessively how it was going. Neither of which will skew my rating or next visit. Can't wait to give the rest of the menu a shot."
A rich sweet custard made by combining wildflower honey and European butter finished with Maldon flake sea salt and served cold with a vial of bee pollen to sprinkle on top.

"Ended up at Taza for an early dinner on a Sunday. The place was pretty quiet, so it was nice to be able to relax and chat with my group. Our table had the baba and dawali appetizers, and then beef kafta, shawarma plate, and shish kebabs for dinner. I also had a cocktail - I think the blue paloma. My drink was good, not particularly special but not bad. Next time I would probably just go for a glass of wine. The food however was excellent. 10 out of 10. My kafta was exceptionally flavorful, and the vegetables still had plenty of bite to them. My mom and sister felt similarly about their meals. The appetizers were delicious as well, especially the dawali, and we appreciated the za'atar oil served with the fresh pitas. I am a visitor in Cleveland. I normally try not to go to chains when I'm traveling, but I'm so glad I broke my rule. I wanted to come back and we were only here for a couple days. Highly recommend!"
"Went for dinner here with two friends, the pizza was so good! I have to speak on those risotto balls though (incredible.) cannot wait to go back when I'm not pregnant and try the cotton candy cocktail my friends got and highly recommend lol. Service was on point and the vibe is so elegant!"
"We stopped in with a part of two on a Saturday night around 7 and they were able to squeeze us in at a bar table! The service was very prompt and friendly, they have a great cocktail menu and had some seasonal specials, and the food was good. We ordered the pigs in a blanket which were good but not very much food for how much they are. I got the almond crusted walleye and the rice was super flavorful, and the crust was great, but it just needed a bit of salt. My boyfriend ordered the burger and said it was good, the fries were great with the rosemary and garlic. He was especially impressed that the bartender was on top of switching the games on the tv's (guardians playoffs, must watch!) Would come back again!"
"Best sushi in the entire Greater Cleveland area! You would never expect this incredible sushi joint in mentor-on-the-lake. Very unassuming from the outside, but gorgeous contemporary decor on the inside. The servers are very helpful. This is our favorite spot for a date night! We like ordering a la carte, but everything on the menu is delicious - you can't go wrong. The salmon is our favorite, especially salmon belly. It's also really great that they offer soy paper for people who may not enjoy nori. If you are a little adventurous and looking to order alcohol, I recommend the Izeko (berry flavor if they have it). It's a Japanese Sake Jelly drink - think of it as a drink with jello in it, texture-wise. Also - salmon three-way appetizer is a great deal, highly recommend!"
"Recommend the espresso tini and the mushroom pizza. Tried 6 different pizzas and loved it. Tried not to compare it to NYC pizza bc it's totally different. The wait was 1 hour so I rec getting there early esp on the weekend."
"The last page has great ambience. I love coming here. The prices are a little excessive however it doesn't make me stop coming. They have happy hour Tuesday through Sunday from 4 to 6 where they have $10 appetizers. I think half off wine and beer and discounted select cocktails. I got some vanilla pear old-fashioned that I don't know really was unsatisfying, but I didn't send it back. I tried to drink it. I couldn't finish it. The next drink. I had however was delicious. I'm trying to remember the name and failing. I'll update this review if I can remember, it was tequila based with tajin, bitters and came out smoked. Oh! Got it. THE MYSTIC. GET IT!"
"Good ribs and burnt ends, homemade fries excellent,Good service and people. I would go again"
"Food was great! Could've been a little hotter. Was delicious. The salsa and chips were great. The margaritas were also delicious ! We were seated quickly"
"It was a small homey kind of place. There are steaks and seafood on the menu, a senior discount from 3-6(Sun-Thur only). Lots of local beers on tap, plenty of wine and it looked like a full bar. Service was quick and they do check back. I got the perch meal with 2 sides. Garlic mashed potatoes are very good, salad looked good , but I'd skip the French onion soup."
"I absolutely love every dish I've ordered from The Vegan Club but I chose to dine in today for the first time. I love the theme of the independent location and the mural, color scheme and glass wall provide such a nice feel to the space. Service was great and the waitress was extremely considerate and personable. I do hope that they pay a bit more attention to cleaning tables off after guests finish their food just because my table hadn't thoroughly been wiped down but when it comes to flavors, they never miss. The Szechuan buffalo oyster wingz are a favorite of mine. They're perfectly crispy and the contrast of the blue cheese with the buffalo sauce is perfect each time. The shrimp basket was surprisingly amazing. I didn't know what to expect, as this was my first time having vegan shrimp. They were interestingly similar to real fried shrimp and pair well with cocktail sauce. The green envy was my absolute favorite dish this evening. The fried green tomatoes paired with feta, balsamic drizzle and their red pepper sauce with peppery arugula and mushroom bacon was a combination I never knew I needed. Overall, a great dining experience. I will definitely be back soon!"

I'm updating this review as a testament to Diamond Deli. The last review I made was written while I still lived in Akron. Since then I moved to California, then to Rhode Island, and now to Texas.During my drive from California to Rhode Island, I specifically mapped my drive through Akron for Diamond Deli. I wasn't going to make it before closing, and asked if they'd leave me a sandwich outside and I'd leave some money! They were kind enough to do that and I got to eat my favorite sandwich! That was 3 years ago.Today I'm driving from Rhode Island to Texas and once again, mapped my path just so I could have Diamond Deli on the way. This place is magnificent, the food is incredible, the restaurant is peaceful and the service is amazing.100/10 I would recommend this place, unless you are moving away soon, in which case probably don't try it, because you will spend 7 years thinking about their sandwiches and make hundreds of miles just to get one.

We had come in after eating dinner elsewhere and were just stopping in to try their pies.Lots of people dining in! Mostly a lot of friend groups. We didn't have to wait for a table either. We shared 3 pies: salt and honey, dark chocolate with raspberry whip, and a special for the season that had espresso in it. They were all delicious and not overly sweet. I was impressed! I'm not a huge pie person.I'd come back for more pie and to try their food from the menu!**We ended up coming back here the following day to pick up a pie for a friend. The restaurant wasn't open yet but you can ring the doorbell for pick up. We were able to take in the beautiful decor and ambiance a bit better since it was empty and quiet.

Solid Lebanese food conveniently close to the Trader Joes in Beachwood. They give free pita as a side and it's fantastic when it's fresh out of the oven. Portion sizes are also pretty generous for the most part (although given the prices, it's still a little more expensive than expected), so you'll probably leave feeling reasonably full. We went family style and got the vegetarian feast and mixed grill II, which I'd recommend if you want to try a little bit of everything and want a balanced meat vs veggie spread. One of my friends also got Chicken Shawarma, which she ended up recommending too.Service was great. The place feels pretty cozy and relaxed, although it tends to be an older crowd/people coming with their families..

Recent meal at @infornopizza in Avon. My wife and I are on the search for the best high pizza around our area. They follow THE NEOPOLITAN PIZZA MAKING LAW. Look it up. We had the In Forno ( their namesake). With Grated mozzarella - Fresh mozzarella - Sausage - Bacon - Jalapeño. So basic but so fresh and flavorful. Made in the brick oven by New York trained chef and Pizzaiolo George Goodman. His dedication shows. We also had my old "go-to" Buratta plate. ( unused to come here for lunch pre-Covid just for this. ) Burrata Cheese on a Bed of Arugula - Tomatoes - Coppa - Black Olives - Garlic Bread. Creamy and paired perfect with the garlic bread and meat. We finished with one of their gelatos. Pistachio this time. Served with crushed pistachios. Be sure to check this place out.

Outstanding service, delicious food, creative drink and menu items, wonderful ambience... but the dining area was so noisy it was hard to conduct a conversation with the other 2 members of my dinner party.

Came here for happy hour and had a lovely time. There was a wide selection of drinks and food. I loved the sangria pitcher to share between 3-4 people, which was around $20. The sangria tasted super good and had a good amount of alcohol! The interior was clean and well decorated. There was a variety of seating options, including the bar, high top tables, and booths. The service was attentive and nice. Would come back again.

What a swanky spot to grab a cocktail! I was in town on business and once the business was through, we decided to grab a celebratory drink before calling it a night. My coworker and I easily grabbed a seat at the bar and browsed their cocktail menu. The bartender was attentive and answered all of our questions in regards to the most popular picks and what she thought we would like. I went with a light, citrisy, floral drink - the botanica. It comes with Watershed gin, lavender syrup, lemon, orange bitters, and a ginger liqueur. My goodness, it was exactly what I was wanting and was absolutely delightful. It had an ice cube with a frozen lemon peel and was served in a martini glass. Very elegant looking. I let my drink partner give it a try and she liked it so much so switched her order. While we didn't eat, I can speak to how nice the space was inside. They even had it decorated for the holidays. The restrooms were very clean and had some funky wallpaper on the walls. They had televisions playing the Cavs and light music playing. It was an overall vibe. I can totally see myself coming here for a night on the town with friends, on a date, or even for a nice dinner and drinks with family. Until next time, my friends!

"I ordered a red velvet cake for my sister's anniversary and it came out amazing!!!! Super moist with the perfect balance sweet! Went back the next day and had the chocolate cover cannoli.. I can't say enough! It was amazing! We also had a chocolate cupcake that was very soft and rich! My daughter says they are the best!!Overall I highly recommend* I added my own flowers to the cake."
"This place is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Ohio!! No place else compares truly. I got the Nayarit burrito and it's amazing every time. The best part is the food is even good when you get it delivered. When we sat in the restaurant the server was very nice and we got our food in a decent amount of time. The provided chips and salsa are also amazing !! This is definitely a go to restaurant in my family."
"Food was good, service was great! The restaurant is bigger than it appears from the outside, it's packed with personality and tasty dishes."
"I was staying at the Hyatt hotel and was looking for a place close for breakfast and this was walking distance in the center of a beautiful outdoor mall. The ambiance is beautiful, the service was super friendly and the crepes were outstanding. I had the breakfast crepe with scrambled egg, bacon, cheese and avocado. I would gladly order this again."
"Every single thing I have gotten here is outstanding!! Amazing key lime pie and strawberry rhubarb pie, delicious cookies and friendly employees. Keep up the amazing job."
"AMAZING!!!!!!!! Everything here is awesome from the food to the service. The French onion soup is the best I've ever had. My husbands vegetable pasta rivals any Italian restaurant. The three cheese chicken & sliced potatoes were just fabulous. The bread OMG the bread, warm & crusty & delicious. The prices are incredible. The staff treats you like family. I don't understand why it's so quiet here. People should be standing on their heads trying to get in."
"Oh me oh my what a nice tiny pie! If you've been reading my reviews you know I always love it when a place offers mini/sampling sizes (shout out to flights and pairings!). If it's smaller you can try out a couple different kinds, or you don't have to worry about much waste if you don't like something, or you can just enjoy one and your craving is satisfied without feeling like a gluttonous Jabba The Hutt.So I really like that Gray House Pies offers mini sized pies (they call them "hand pies") AND they have a lunch special (11a-1p) where you can get a mini sweet pie paired with a savory pub pie, slice of Detroit style pizza, or mini quiche for only $6! They also have a deal on Tuesdays where you get three mini pies for only $5 which normally costs double!I've never had sweet potato pie before, but I was glad I took the chance to try it out, very tasty! I've also tried one of the mixed berry pies, and a spinach and feta quiche. I don't usually like pie crust, but here the crust is so light, buttery, and flaky that I would eat this part first! I've also tried a slice of their Detroit style pizza and it was good as well. This style of pizza is rather thick and I think next time I will ask for a side of pizza sauce to dip it into. My only slight negative would be that they did not have any of the savory pub pies and it does not look like they make cream or specialty pies in the mini version. I could be wrong and they were just completely sold out the times I have been there, I'll have to arrive early and ask them next time I go. But other than that, I think their offerings are tasty, affordable, and very easy to heat up in the oven!"
"Believe it or not, but my favorite thing about El Patrón is the beans. If you have not had them, you are missing out. Other than that, the margaritas are amazing! My favorite meal (before I went pescetarian) was pollo con crema (a creamy chicken meal) and the menu is expansive enough to find something you like, even if you are a picky eater. The service is also really good here! They are always really nice and attentive. They also do a good job making exceptions to drinks and/or meals. For example, I ordered a frozen raspberry margarita but wanted a spicy hint, so I asked if they would be able to rim it with tajín and they not only said yes, but they thought it was a great idea! Aside from the great food and friendly service, the decor is so festive and relaxing. My mom and I came here one day after I had had a particularly stressful day, and the decor was enough to help me feel like was far away, on a vacation and ready to shed the day."
"Food, service and ambiance with Shakira playing in the background was excellent. We have lived in California for two years and we love visiting my husband's college town when we are visiting family. It's hard to find healthy foods here so we chose Mexican because the rice and beans will keep us full while we travel. I will say this food was spot on and we definitely will come back here if we are in town again. The service was great and the people were kind! We ordered Chile Verde and chicken fajitas and it was well seasoned!"
"Great restaurant in the heart of Coventry. The menus great but we go fir the best lo menu in the area. (We order pork lo mein.) it's good enough to pull us there when visiting one of the downtown museums. Or just a lo mein road trip. The best. Other favorites include egg foo yung, orange beef and hot & sour soup. Staff is friendly and food is quickly prepared. Just a nice place for a lunch on a weekend."
"So excited to find a small bakery that offered vegan treats! We purchased the birthday cake and cookies and cream in a jar, both vegan and delicious. The service was on point, polite and insightful. The shop has many cake selection both vegan and non. Looks like at one point you could sit inside but that appears to be a prep area. Recommend supporting this sweet shop!"
"Drove 30 minutes to Skoops in Barberton. The kids had it on their summer bucket list, so we decided this was the perfect weekend to cross it off. The line was long and had to park in the overflow parking below. Not a big deal for us and was a 2 minute walk up a slight hill.We ordered and shared the cherry Dole Whip, the Cheerwine float, and a strawberry shortcake which was topped with their vanilla custard. Everything was great. Custard is really creamy! The serve everything with a color changing spoon and/or straw. Added bonus according to my kids.Definitely will be back!"
"So I go to the usual grocery store to order a bday cake. I get there and told they are not taking any orders??? Go to the bakery down the street. They are also no longer making cakes. 0 for 2 Go onto yelp to search for birthday cakes. This amazing place comes up. They took my order on short notice. Made probably one of the best cakes I have ever had. Chocolate fudge with butter cream. So so so so so goood If you are in the market for bday cake or heck a cake for any occasion give this place a try. Excellent service. Talked me through what kind of cake to get and very friendly. The best part is that first slice!!!"
"Great service, great food, wonderful experience all the way around. And good music too boot."
"Good place. Tasty. Reasonable prices. Good service. Typical Asian corner restaurant. Will become a regular."
"I walked in and it was busy in there! Good sign! Lots of families and people having dinner. The patio was open and it was nice out so I decided to sit outside. The host was also server and he was very sweet and attentive. He got me everything I needed including many trips for corn tortillas (amazing), more napkins, and some of the best homemade salsa ever!I got the Fajitas Texanas and they were so good! It was probably way too much for me to eat but I still ate it because it was BUSSIN. I mean it was so tasty. Coming from out of town I was not sure if I'd find good Mexican food and this was GOOD!tl;dr: 10/10 recommend for great food, drinks, and service. Awesome."
"Stopped for 1st time recently, after hearing about this place & was not disappointed. Picked up couple dozen pierogis of various flavors, the pierogis were excellent!!They were out of both schnitzels, bummer, but I'll call ahead next time. It was around 1:30pm on a Saturday afternoon.Had 1/2 doz cabbage rolls, some jalapeño/cheddar smokies, 1lb cabbage & noodles, even tried a couple desserts. The young lady who waited on us, was very nice & helpful...Te'a was her name. This place was a great find & will now be a regular stop.Good luck & stay safe!!"
"I ordered the fried chicken with greens and loved it. The fried chicken was so crispy and hot. This was my first time and now I look forward to going again next time I'm in Akron."
"Stopped in for dinner on a Friday night after a long day at the lake. My party of 5 was promptly seated and immediately greeted. The service was great. Our server was extremely friendly. She went over the buffet options, sea food options and menu. A variety of items to choose from including a children's menu. The food is very bland and does not have much seasoning. I started with the sweet potato fries which were good. Along with some chicken noodle soup. Pasta was my main entree which was a large portion size. My party all ordered sea food platters which they enjoyed but thought was bland. They too felt the portion sizes were reasonable. Definitely a priced reasonable with lots of good just not the most flavorful food. The severs were very nice. All employees were working so hard and very attentive."
"Breakfast sandwiches, coffee, pastries & service are great here!! Fruit/meat pies, croissants, Kolachy's specifically are great!! Their focaccia bread is excellent and had it at Edacious in Avon. I highly recommend Chez Michel as they deserve the notierty for their products!!"
"Definitely worth a short trip to satisfy your sweet tooth. Both self order station or choose to step up and order. Good selection of cookies. The oatmeal chocolate chip was spectacular. Traditional chocolate chip was very good. The Oreo cookie was cool to try, so rich. We also enjoyed the double chocolate. If you are not aware, these are on the expensive side but the cookies are big and shareable. I recommend trying it."
"Today we tried Crumbl for the first time. We tried the raspberry cheesecake.. which I thought the flavors separately were too rich but all together made my soul happy! I can't wait to have another!! The chocolate one I wasn't able to try as my daughter devoured it. We will be returning very often!!"
"When I first set foot into the door of Crumbl, I was blasted with a bright white light. Then I found myself in a very clean, factory-like environment that was a buzz of activity but it smelled good. They made cookies. Good-sized ones, fresh and warm. They were $5 each. This was reminiscent of the $5 dollar milkshake in Pulp Fiction. This cookie had better knock my socks off, dance with me and bring me back home in one piece after the sugar high. So, did it do just that? I ordered the cinnamon roll cookie thingy. There was a bit of a wait, I would recommend placing orders ahead. The cookie was literally presented to me in it's own box, fresh and warm. It was between a cookie and cake in consistency. The flavor was good. The cream cheese icing was way too sweet. Overall, a good experience but not a great one. It all felt rushed and superficial. It was more like a $3.99 cookie. Nothing to make me want to go out of my way for."
