Italian cookies and biscotti so scuola vecchia that you just don't see them in bakeries, an endangered species already. They do sandwiches and breads and pastas, but gli dolce are what I'd travel half way across the country to taste. Coffee is good. It's counter service and always a mad house in there. It's part of the experience!"

I LOVE this late night spot, it's a lifesaver and I hope the rest of Cleveland follows suit and starts changing their business hours to 24/7. My Friends has excellent sandwiches and burgers. I even went for breakfast on back to back days and everything was amazing. The restaurant is calm, not too crazy. There's a bakery and deli, everything looked tasty and moist. The wait staff had a good attitude and the general ambiance was good. There's plenty of seating, both booths and tables, it's cozy. I love the East Coast vibes here, the building is cool, right out of a movie where the main characters hang out lol. Idk I just really like this place and I'll recommend it to all of my Yelp buddies."

Cute shop in Little Italy that doubles as a small grocery store + restaurant. Limited seating. They some a couple tables outside and I believe one table on the inside if you want to eat-in. They also have bottles of wine you can order when you eat inside.Murray Hill has a mix of cold and hot foods, but i've only tried the hot foods so far. The fresh salmon sandwich, the Eggplant parmigiana sandwich and the Italian Sub deluxe. Wow- I mean they were all so delicious and packed with flavor. Tasted homemade, too. Not over-processed like I feel some american-italian tends to be. think my favorite was the eggplant based on how cheesy it was, but close second was the italian sub."

"I stopped by Focaccia's for a quick brunch on a Saturday during Toledo Pride. They offer a full menu of breakfast and lunch items, with a variety of alcohol too. We began with the beignets and they were yummy! We liked how they were served with fresh fruit. I had the Holy Toledo sandwich - turkey, bacon, lettuce and tomato served atop the namesake Focaccia bread. It was delicious. The turkey was fresh and the fries and bread were both delicious. The portion was generous for $13 and I left satisfied. Service was fast and friendly."

I asked the waitress who was extremely helpful what I should get. She gave me the entire breakdown of each meat option on the menu, let me summarize it into a few words, NO DELI meats here, everything is ESI there made in house or brought in on a full meat chunk and sliced in house. I had the twin towers (turkey and corned Beef) and it was huge fresh and enough food for two people! Three slices of bread and made with care! This was not schlepped together, one of the best sandwiches around!"

Thankfully I had an hour for lunch but if not, I would have left hungry, after wasting my lunch time on food that would take longer than a steakhouse would need to cook a steak and me eat it....... The Gyro was alright, for the wait alone it should have been free of charge."
