"I absolutely love Wayne's. Their seasonal produce is almost always cheaper than anywhere else. They have lots of unique offerings as well as a nice deli. In response to a couple other reviews: I've never had an issue with their produce spoiling quickly compared with other stores, and I've never noticed that their produce is consistently poor. I think all produce anywhere you buy it is hit or miss. Also unlike at the supermarket, their produce rotates in and out because they tend to have whatever is in season. I rely less on labels and more on appearance to find what I'm looking for. There's always some difference between what a sweet pepper and a hot pepper, for example. I've almost always had positive experiences with the staff in all parts of the store, and I think the employees, young and old, are generally friendly and helpful. The deli is a busy place but I've never had anyone be rude to me there. The only time I've had any issue was when I didn't grab a number because they didn't look too busy. Word to the wise... they still go in order and you will get skipped if you didn't grab a number!"
"Best gast station in Norwalk! Has AMAZING chicken and jojo's. Lots and lots of options for sandwiches as well. The staff are really friendly and proficient at their jobs. Gas pumps aren't the greatest feature, as they only have four pumps and limited room. They also have a drive thru which makes life easy on those lazy days. I go here for all my drink and snack needs."

"We shop here at least once a week and never had a bad experience. Everyone who works here is very nice. The store is very clean and well organized. One thing no one else has mentioned are the amazing ribs they serve here. They only have them ( along with chicken and sides) on certain weekends. They are so good and usually sell until they are all out so get there early!"
"Excellent authentic Eastern European food. I had the pork schnitzel, potato pierogi and German potato salad. We dined-in but most people get take out it was delicious! They take credit card. Hard to find. No big signage, but it is right next door to State Meats. Two thumbs up!"
"I highly recommend Lombardo's! The food is outstanding, and the service is stellar. I feel that it is one of Point Place' little gems.. The cost of the food is extremely affordable, delicious and the quantity of food is generous. If you haven't tried this quaint little restaurant, you should definitely give it a try!"
"I stopped by Focaccia's for a quick brunch on a Saturday during Toledo Pride. They offer a full menu of breakfast and lunch items, with a variety of alcohol too. We began with the beignets and they were yummy! We liked how they were served with fresh fruit. I had the Holy Toledo sandwich - turkey, bacon, lettuce and tomato served atop the namesake Focaccia bread. It was delicious. The turkey was fresh and the fries and bread were both delicious. The portion was generous for $13 and I left satisfied. Service was fast and friendly."
"We had the chance to try out Lox, Stock and Brisket not too long ago and, I have to say, it was yet another great find in Van Aken Market Hall. We got the Upper East Side and the Lincoln Park sandwiches. If you like Brisket, the Upper East Side is for you - generous portions of melty beef complemented by a tangy mustard. But the real star was the Lincoln Park sandwich. The crispy chicken schnitzel was so much better than the average fried chicken. This was true comfort food balanced with a nice slaw. I only wish the prices were lower or that these sandwiches came with a side. $15 for a modestly sized sandwich was a bit much. Nevertheless, I have every intention of coming back and trying all their other sandwiches hopefully in the near future."
"Great food, cool vibe. Highly rated. Try the chili. Coffee shop too. Friendly service."
"Wonderful prices for the perfect home cooked meal. As a single person, I was in and out of the restaurant in 30 minutes. The servers are efficient, attentive, and kind. The 50's diner theme makes for a vintage energy inside the restaurant. Would highly recommend!"
"Fragapanes is the best location in town for donuts as well as has the best Cassata cake!! Besides baked goods they have an excellent selection of pasta, sauces, pesto, olive oils, stuff from Italy I would've normally bought online and not crazy priced either! Their deli is insane, so full of options. They sell boars head,l which I used to buy every time but that recently changed with the recalls so I stopped buying that, they are still serving it."
"This place is amazing. Best diner in Sandusky. Small quibble that they should send much larger coffees on Doordash. That is not enough to tank my rating though."
"Delicious Calzones, Stromboli, & Sicilian Pizza.Highly recommend stopping by if you are in the area. I drive by everyday, and decided to stop in with my two boys. They loved the cheese calzone & ham/pepperoni stromboli. I got the Deluxe Sicilian pizza. The service was great and to the point. The boys got the best "cheese-pulls" from this place. I will definitely be coming back."

Breakfast sandwiches are made fresh while you wait. They're cheap and way better than fast food trash! Also, a big fan of their chicken strip meal. Their fried chicken is a staple of the town.

I'm a frequent flyer at Dale's. I work next door and it's great for lunch. They have a hot foods section with daily specials. . Today I had the chicken paprikash, which is one of my favorites. The fresh made cakes are very good to, the frosting is just the right sweetness. If your looking for a special occasion cake it's great. And the fried chicken is really good as well. Planning on using their services for my son's grad party.

This place is truly a hidden gem. Very small and does not look like much on the outside but inside you are greeted by incredibly friendly staff and delicious food. They have a restaurant where you can sit down and eat or get take out. Next door they also have a spot where you can order more things to go and it is more of a deli. You can tell this place really cares about their customers. Also the prices are incredible.

While in town for business, I explored a bit of the downtown Toledo vibe and stopped for lunch. The menu had ample choices of primarily salads and sandwiches. Intrigued by the name, I selected a Holy Toledo sandwich. In a few words, it was sensational. I definitely recommend this place as a must-try.

NOT cheap, but worth it! I got the Upper Eastside, and it was so big that I could only eat half (the rest is coming to work with me tomorrow).

I have ate a lot of Reubens and I must say.. this is the best one in AMERICA.Service: 10/10 (Haole ladies with the Aloha spirit)Vibes are relaxing and low key. Felt like we were eating at the non-publicized spot that's actually better than the hyped up spot (you know what I mean). They also have a lot of bathrooms incase you gotta go and they're super clean too! Advice: get the LARGE Mac & Cheese (10/10) so you and your group can share that while you stuff the sandwiches down.

"Love their bakery so good! Everyone is so friendly. Had my moms 80th birthday cake made here and they did a excellent job."
"I'm so excited this little deli is in town! It's family owned and operated by such a nice group of people. They have a really nice little deli selection with meats and cheeses and fancy mustards (this is a big deal to me), different kinds of butter, select soft drinks, and "salads" (pasta, etc.). They also carry deserts like cookies, pies, cakes, etc, and will order anything you'd like!Mostly they have a huge selection of bulk food. I'm not sure what else to call it other than bulk/baking needs. You can get bags of little peanut butter cups, gummy bears, certain kinds of flour, etc. I'm not a huge baker, I mostly come for the convenience, service and deli, but I will occasionally snag a bag of dark chocolate mini pb cups. They've been here a few months so far and I hope more people find out they're here and come check them out! They're even starting to carry fresh veggies. Just got some local corn from them that is DELISH! So come one, come all, help welcome and support this new local business!"
"The best sandwiches in town, amazing service, art by local artists, chill vibes. Nothing not to love here. I HIGHLY recommend the Black Beef sub."
"As soon as you walk in the door the smell of baked goods hits you and your senses go into a tail spin. It is such a sweet wonderful smell. Almost as if you were walking into grandma's house and not a farm market. The rows in between are full of different pastas, pasta sauces of all kinds. They have a huge selection of wine, I didn't look carefully but I am sure that they have to have local wines available. Keep walking and you meet up with the low carb wraps in a multitude of flavors, the dairy section as well as the freezer section. In that area you get with the great wall of "WINE"! The meat counter is full of different types of fresh meat. This market place is so big and filled with so many different types of food, vegetables (regular and organic). It's a chefs or cooks play land, I just know if I have any recipe with unique ingredients you will most likely find it here. The variety of foods is insurmountable. There are also sections of assorted chocolates that are sold by the pound. We noticed they have many local foods as well which is very nice. Before we checked out the cashier showed us a great deal they had on containers to preserve vegetables and fruit. We bought two sets!!! You will not go wrong shopping at the Vermillion Farm Market!!"
"If you don't know me... I just love local and independent spots! This is no exception.Family owned and operated, they take personal pride in this lil hole in the wall spot.Several seating arrangements for up to 4 people and a couple cute tables for two sit up in the front window. My friend ordered from the classic deli menu and enjoyed a traditional corned beef sandwich. Nothing special with nothing extra but lean, warm meat!I ordered the falafel dish and it came out as quite a surprise!A salad of shredded lettuce and lil diced tomatoes hiding crispy, warm chopped falafel balls. Tahihi sauce and garlic sauce on the side. Man was it filling! No frills place but great food and good service. We ordered our food and I Promise, it came it in less than 5min! Can't beat that!!"
"Great place to buy bulk foods, deli meat, and cheese. Their deli made sandwiches are exceptional. My favorites are David's Grilled Club and Uncle Jim's Favorite. Plus where else around here can you get Joe Tea? Wow! Enough said. Go there."
"Great corn beef sandwich. The corn beef was sliced pretty thin and flavorful. Great for a grab and go lunch. And they give plenty, I hadn't finished the rest of the corn beef and hash yet."
"Love Le Petit! Ordered two twofers. Picked up a to go order, soup and salad for one, soup for one and sandwich and soup for our third. Lobster bisque was delicious as always. Clam chowder dude was very happy! Hit the spot! Chicken salad sandwich was as good as usual. Rubbish salad is amazing! More than enough, had leftovers for dinner. Always consider lunch with Jason and the crew! Locally owned and operated by a great guy!"
"Really enjoyed the corn beef sandwich. Will be back again for that. Great friendly service. Bar is nice and they mix a great martini with hand stuffed olives."
"Delicious unique assortment of imported canned goods, candy, and legitimate Irish baked goods such as pasties, scotch eggs, soda bread, and more. Friendly employees. THEY HAVE BLACK ABD WHITE PUDDINGS Y'ALL! $10/lb!! Hard to find that anywhere."
"I moved to the Northeast Ohio area from Montreal, which has a huge Mediterranean food scene. I've been looking for a place to fulfill my cravings and this place is the absolute best I've found. The garlic sauce is incredible! The tabbouleh is also fantastic along with the pita chips. Can't wait to go back and try more!"
"The food at Jack's deli some of the best food I've tasted in a long time. They have cooks and other staff that really care about the service of you and other staff that's very professional in what they do. It's like a big family"
"The staff is wonderful and always so friendly! The food is a nice change from everywhere else, if you need health food or shake they have it! The atmosphere is quiet and peaceful even on a busy road! If you need gifts for a food basket or something unique this is your place! Come check it out!"
"Found out about this place from my Italian plumber who said this was the best Italian food in Little Italy- so i knew I HAD to try! Cute shop in Little Italy that doubles as a small grocery store + restaurant. Limited seating. They some a couple tables outside and I believe one table on the inside if you want to eat-in. They also have bottles of wine you can order when you eat inside.Murray Hill has a mix of cold and hot foods, but i've only tried the hot foods so far. The fresh salmon sandwich, the Eggplant parmigiana sandwich and the Italian Sub deluxe. Wow- I mean they were all so delicious and packed with flavor. Tasted homemade, too. Not over-processed like I feel some american-italian tends to be. think my favorite was the eggplant based on how cheesy it was, but close second was the italian sub."
"Being from Los Angeles, I wasn't sure what to expect when I visited Nate's Deli in Cleveland, Ohio. But let me tell you, it was a breakfast experience like no other! I ordered the home-style breakfast with 2 eggs, home fries, sausages, and toast, and added an extra pancake to my plate. This meal easily ranks among the best breakfasts I've had in a long time. The eggs were cooked perfectly, and the pancake had just the right level of sweetness - I barely needed any syrup. Nate's Deli has won me over, even though I'm miles away from home. If you find yourself in Cleveland, don't miss the chance to savor their delicious breakfast offerings!"
"If you need a caterer - ask for Tim. These guys know what they are doing. They make a great chocolate chunk cookie too."
"Two Words -- Momma's Cooking. You can really tell that there is so much love that goes into everything that they do. The Food -- Everything is amazing. If you looked at the prices, you would think "okay, what's the catch" But don't let the low prices fool you! The food is amazing! Everything is fresh, and it tastes amazing. There has not been a meal I have gotten that I did not like. My go to is the burger, and it's always cooked to perfection. Even though it's not on the menu, they do have oatmeal, and I always get it for breakfast. Atmosphere -- the severs are always kind, prompt, and attentive. "Mom" is always in the back helping out, or sometimes, she is getting drinks to all of her customers. You can tell they treat people like family, because we get the same feeling as customers. I've only ever had one issue, and that is they forgot to give me maple syrup with our order -- we had just moved, so we couldn't find it at home, so I had to go back to get it. However, they were super kind about it, and apologized. Would highly recommend if you want an easy, cheap, and delicious breakfast/lunch!"
"This is a great local deli. Call or check out their daily lunch specials! Have not had anything I don't like here and 100%recommend the house made roast beef. I usually don't like roast beef, but theirs melts in your mouth and great flavor."
"My mother-in-law has been coming here for YEARS and bringing different dips, salads, etc over to our house. I finally broke down last year and went to Shaffer's- Now I saw what all the hoopla was about. I was like a kid in a candy store. I started eating Paleo about a year ago- this market had EVERYTHING I needed: Meat, fresh fruit, and fresh veggies. I can easily walk into the market and get whatever I need for a meal, a snack, or to take to a party or picnic. I am a HUGE fan of Shaffer's Market and now I recommend to all my friends and family."
"I don't know how this place doesn't have a glowing 5 stars, to be honest. My boyfriend and I have been on 3 different occasions and had wonderful experiences every time. We go for breakfast, and I always get the skillet. I thought I had a photo of the whole spread, but I cannot seem to find it. Meh. I personally love the food every time! It is always fresh, delicious and clearly homemade. The service is always friendly and prompt, regardless of how busy they are, and I never seem to have to wait to get a table! Oh yeah, also the portion sizes are HUGE! I mean, it isn't an exceptionally "fancy" diner, but I'm there for the food not the decor."
"I tried the Italian Grinder for lunch today, and boy oh boy was it delicious! My mom got the Turkey Grinder and loved it as well. They have a great website for easy online ordering to bypass having to wait. We took the sandwiches home, but they have a lot of outdoor seating available. We also got sides of potato and pasta salad. The potato salad was incredible, I wasn't a huge fan of the dressing on the pasta salad but my mom really enjoyed it. Don't forget to add a pack of cookies to your order too! I will definitely be back."
"Service food and ambience were amazing. Absolutely love the artwork on the walls and the whole aesthetic of the restaurant. Highly recommend the chimichanga!"
"Nice little deli/sandwich shop right off the Towpath. They have your basic sandwich and salad options. I got the Italian sub and it was pretty good. Nothing special or unique but really great service and the location is just perfect. They also have ice cream (didn't have any). I definitely plan on stopping by throughout the summer to take a break from biking."
