"Donuts were a great treat for the kids. Friendly people. Great customer service. The donuts were packaged careful enough that they stayed intact even after a twenty minute drive of stop and go traffic."
"Best West side diner. The place actually is an old style diner complete with round stools at the counter and lots of 50's memorabilia decorating the walls. Checkered linoleum floors! Specials each day. Breakfast to burgers it's all delicious. I had the corned beef quesadilla. Tender juicy corned beef and sauerkraut with Swiss cheese and egg sandwiched between a grilled tortilla. Yum. Served with Chipotle Mayo or Thousand Island. Fountain drinks. The real standout here is the fantastic service. Not stressed just really friendly, efficient and attentive. We stayed a bit when we were done eating and chatted with the servers. Truly nice folks. Plenty of parking. Loved all the art of old time stars. Good prices. We will be back."

"First time in Cleveland and was looking for a place within walking distance to our hotel. Found this little gem. The food and coffee were absolutely amazing. I was a little turned off by the staff who seemed to be all but ignoring customers ready to place their orders and thankful that a local encouraged me to use the kiosk to place my order. It was a quick and easy process so don't let the lack of human interaction keep you from giving this place a try."
"My go to is the Adam's Breakfast Sandwich on gluten free with a side of the potatoes! Amazing"
"Great coffee shop. In town to bring my mother n law home from visiting us in Suffolk, VA. I wanted to find a good coffee joint that wasn't Starbucks. This lives up to its great 4.8 review rating. I had the Asiago bagel sandwich and a medium roast caramel coffee. Hit the spot perfectly. Service was great too. Also has free WiFi, which I needed to prepare for a presentation I'm giving tomorrow in Cincinnati"
"Everything was dope! Great ambiance and the music was fire. Everything I could ask for in a coffee shop. It was next level, I will definitely be back to get some work done. Customer service was smooth"
"Gypsy coffee shop was super cute and unique. The staff were very friendly and answered all my questions. I ended up with the tropic which is coconut and macadamia nut. Very good. Highly recommend visiting this place next time you're in the area!"
"The service was polite and the wait was short even though they were very full. The food is delicious and served with a smile. The coffee is a Brazilian blend and delicious and my cup never went dry!Prices are very reasonable for high quality delicious breakfast food with many delicious options to consider. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, clean and Muzak is pleasant and low to allow conversation. I will definitely come back again and again."
"Gourmand's is awesome. The best pulled pork sandwich I've probably every had. This time, I tried the Chicago Beef, is was amazing. The fries and zucchini fries are also great! Quality food and highly recommend. The inside is cool and offers more then just lunch. And the gentleman who checked me out was great, helpful, and had a wonderful since of humor."
"I stumbled upon Tree City years ago when they first opened and it's a hidden gem! The great atmosphere makes this coffee shop the perfect study or work spot. Visit this spot and you'll see why it's called Tree City!I have to say I'm picky about my coffee and ESPECIALLY my oat milk. Tree City has the most consistently good iced oat milk latte that I've tried from the coffee shops in Kent. Now, let's talk treats. Their unique cheesecake options are a must-try if you have a sweet tooth like me. As pictured, they also have other options to satisfy that craving! The staff has always been a friendly bunch and accommodated any of my questions or requests. I can't for the next time I visit home and can try more of their quirky, seasonal options!"
"Best espresso in the area!! As I walked in for the first time and noticed a La Marzocco machine, I knew Im in the right spot. Im not sure what blend of coffee they use but my beverage very strong and very enjoyable."
"Late breakfast, I had a croissant and coffee. My husband had the filled crepe with ham and cheese I think. He wanted decaf and it was made via French press. Wow!! The lady served it in the picture of the French Press making the $4.99 for coffee a little more palatable. The prices I feel are a little steep but I guess it's worth it. Who am I to know the art of the Crepe? The preparation, overhead, paying their employees etc. At least we are supporting a small business. Also, the young ladies are so nice. Who can beat that!! So if you're in Berea stop by and have a Crepe, you might li"

Southside is the quintessential, small town spot that makes diners so amazing! There's probably no more than 20 or 25 seats in the place, a small counter mainly for cashing out and an open kitchen. Our waitress was nice and took our orders pretty quickly. A friend and I split the chocolate chip waffle to start. This was a seriously good waffle. The batter was tasty with vanilla and a little cinnamon flavor and the waffle was soft. I got two potatoe pancakes which came with eggs and sausage. The potato pancakes were fine. They were creamy and had green onions inside. They were a little too soft for my liking. I was grateful they had turkey sausage patties. My friend for the gyro potatoe skillet. The lamb was shaved and a little overcooked. The potatoes and veggies in the skillet were well seasoned which really elevated the dish. Great diner and I'm happy I finally got to try to place.

We both got the breakfast bowl. I had bacon and he chose x2 eggs for his protein. Excellent flavor! The only small critique would be to chop up the bacon or offer a knife. Nice vibe, music, and view of the city, too. We could order and pay at a kiosk. Quick and convenient to see our options.

This is a decent place for coffee. They have plenty of tables and a couple of couches for you to sit and wait/drink your coffee. They have a fireplace too. We didn't receive the best of service walking in, but her demeanor completely changed once we left a tip. We got a Cappuccino and a Caramel Macchiato to go, coffee was good. Cappuccino was nice and smooth. The caramel latte was good too (I know what I said!). They had plenty of pastries on display, we were just here for coffee. The best part was that this place opened early in the morning.

I wasn't really sure what to expect from a restaurant owned by a rapper (rather than restauranteur) but MAN was everything here amazing! The staff was friendly and helpful, the ambiance was cool but still super chill, and the food was delicious. I got the lucky charms coffee which was delicious -- I ordered the small, but two sips in I really regretted not ordering the large. My friend got a flatbread pizza, and I got a plate of the PBR Waffles because I was intrigued. They came dusted in pale pink powdered sugar that turned hot pink as soon as the syrup hit it, so it definitely fit the aesthetic. AND they were some of the best waffles I've ever had. Who thought cheap beer would make such good waffles? I ate every bite.Overall, I would recommend this spot to anyone for breakfast or brunch. Whether you're an out of towner like me or a local, I can see why this place is so popular.

A nice coffee shop with "around the world" themed latte flavors with each latte named after a different country or region! All the pastries are locally made and the coffee is locally roasted. Service was friendly and happy!

Great food and great service. Definitely worth going back. Biscuits and gravy were amazing. Kids had the avocado toast and raved about it.

"My sister was in town for a visit and we were in the mood for Thai food. Found this place by using Yelp, and it was a hit! We had the tofu appetizer which came with a raucous dipping sauce, then Pad Thai (so good!) and Yum Mama (amazing veg option). It's a bit pricey, but worth it!"
"For a gal who doesn't drink caffeine...I loved this cafe. Welcoming atmosphere with knowledgeable friendly staff who made great suggestions. I had the salmon croissant, it was delicious and full of flavor. The croissant was fluffy and buttery, truly delicious. My husband opted for the avocado toast with salmon, I will have to try it next time. We shared the peanut butter crepe, light and really good. I don't even had a chai with coconut milk, it was hot...I like my beverages really hot. Great first experience, we will definitely be back."
"Local coffee is always a good thing especially if the menu is simple and straight to the point. Stopped in this little shop to check it out while visiting the neighborhood. I got a lavender latte that was amazing. The vibe is pretty awesome with their western themed wall paper and cut sitting area. The service was on point as well. They offer a small food and pasty menu for your snacking needs. Keeping their coffee menu to the basics so you can decide quickly and not over thinking it."
"The iced lavender cappuccino was one of the best drinks I've had at a coffee shop. I'll be getting that one again. The staff here is friendly and they have a lot of great choices. The only downside and the reason I didn't award five stars is that it lacks an accessible entrance. There is a step up to get into the establishment and no ramp. On occasion, I have to use a wheelchair and so on those days, I wouldn't be able to come enjoy this coffee shop. Overall, it's a great vibe, though. Don't miss this gem of a coffee shop!"
"I'm really not a fan of the bubble teas in the Akron area. I was recommended this place by my friends. This is a small bubble tea shop just outside of downtown Kent. It doesn't look like much but their bubble tea is exactly how I like it! I'm very particular about my bubble tea. I got a Taro bubble tea with regular boba light sugar and light ice. It was the perfect temperature and the boba had a very nice consistency. Service was friendly and fast. New to bubble tea and not sure what to get? Right when you walk they have their recommended flavors! I recommend stopping by here if Cleveland is a little too far out of the way for your bubble tea fix."
"Stopped by 2/4/25.My wife worked here 60 years ago when it was a (hot) Dog House! We revisited on the 60 year anniversary of meeting at the Dog House in Northfield, which closed up a long time ago. She had worked at both the Northfield and Brecksville store.Today, we had croissants, coffee, and juice--all of which were very good. The most memorable part of our visit, though, was the friendliness of the barista, who is a young lady studying environmental science at Cuyahoga Community College. Another noticeable feature was the cleanliness of the restaurant and restroom. The store looks brand new, not over 60 years old. We will be back!"
"We came in before heading to the park. I just wanted a shot of espresso to wake me up. My friends got the CLV (cold brew with lime and vanilla) and a key lime iced latte. The CLV was very refreshing. Light on the cold brew flavor too. I'd get that next time! It's a wonderfully decorated coffee shop. We parallel parked right in front of it. Can't wait to come back!"
"Great coffee spot in downtown Cuyahoga Falls. Chill music playing in the background. Local artists art on the walls. Not your usual coffee shop offerings (it is a bar, folx), but you can get that here too. I ordered a chai latte and it was delicious. Service was fast and the barista brought my drink to my table. Don't know if it was intentional, but the design on top was reminiscent of the Adinkra symbol that means (loosely translated) God is in control."
"PHOTOS ATTACHED. I started writing this review in 2022 and oops, here we are in January 2023.I first found out about Milk and Honey Cafe from a Yelp event in September 2021 where Yelp Elites got a free drink of choice and a huge peanut butter toast topped with Almond pieces and drizzled with honey. Back then I got a hot Matcha drink which didn't taste great. I don't think I visited again in 2022 but I came back in 2023.DRINKS -- On 17 Jan. 2023, I walked here with some co-workers. I ordered the Dragonfruit Matcha drink (iced). Specifically, I bought a 24oz Iced Matcha Latte with Almond Milk and Dragonfruit Syrup. I hardly get cold drinks especially when the weather is cold outside but I guess I surprised myself. I recommend the dragonfruit matcha because if you like matcha or green tea then this is a good option with the addition of the dragonfruit syrup. The slight sweetness of the dragonfruit mixed with the slight bitterness of matcha is a perfect combination. FOOD -- They have breakfast and lunch options (carbs and protein such as eggs, avocado, etc). In January 2023, I ordered the prosciutto sandwich ($11) for lunch which wasn't bad but the prosciutto didn't taste as fresh and it felt a bit dry. The side of chips was nice.Overall, I will certainly be back for the matcha drink at some point this year. If you work downtown then walk on over here during your lunch break as you soak in some fresh air.****- 14/150 total reviews in 2023- 565 total overall Yelp reviews- Reviewed on 29 January 2023"
"Green Goat is just the cutest little cafe which is perfect for brunch, coffee or just a quick healthy snack/pick me up. They have such a diverse menu that includes breakfast sandwiches, bowls, burgers, flatbreads, coffee, smoothies, and cocktails - I really had such a hard time choosing what to get! You order at the register first and then they will give you a number to take with you as you seat yourself. The cafe itself is very spacious and there's even a cute little courtyard where you can also sit outdoors to enjoy your food/beverages. I've gotten a breakfast sandwich and smoothie here, and both were delicious and satisfying. I will say that you are definitely paying a bit of a premium for the quality of the ingredients though :') their smoothies come in the tiniest of cups and cost $9-10! I enjoyed my time here nonetheless and would still come back for the vibes. Overall, Green Goat is a a cute cafe with delicious and nutritious menu items. I'll definitely have to come back to check out other items on their menu!"
"Cozy comfortable coffee shop with great coffee & other drinks and some of the best homemade cheesecake I've ever enjoyed. Great sandwiches and salad."
"From out of town and wanted brunch. No wait. Greeted and sat right away on a Wednesday. They had specialty savory and sweet items. The spot is a modern brunch spot but saw more older folks dining in. Food: Creme brûlée French toast- way too sweet. I actually took the thick layer of caramelized sugar on the top off. CRO skillet- husband loved it. Country fried steak- this was delicious. My only complain about it was that the breading got removed when I cut through the steak. The hash was just ok. Hot coffee- waitress was attentive and filled our coffee cup frequently. Would I come here again during my yearly visits? probably not because I'd like to try other places. If I lived here, I would probably go back again for brunch or dinner. There are also gluten substitutes."
"Whenever my husband stops by Scribblers', he knows to bring home coffee and a blueberry muffin, or he's in big trouble! I also like their quiche, and chai or macha tea. Hubby leans toward the breakfast sandwiches. A great variety at a great price."
"They're great. I do gig delivery work and UberEats got me onto them. It's amazing and much more affordable than I thought it would be. And they're local so give them a shot."
"A really cute spot to grab a delicious coffee drink or smoothie and a breakfast sandwich! We really liked the atmosphere and the sandwiches were good! Wish there were more GF options"
"Completely unexpected! Not our usual area of town, we were out looking at cars, found this spot on Yelp and decided to give it a try. Glad we did. The outside is not much to look at, however as they say, Don't judge a book by its cover! This eclectic place combines comfort family favorites and art/crafts activities. The decor was like being in a Where's Waldo book, really fun! My husband had the traditional platter with eggs, sausage, has browns and delicious blueberry pancakes. He loved it. I had the biscuits and gravy meal and it was delicious! The other highlight of our trip was the service. Angie our waitress was on top of things. Very friendly and not her first rodeo in the service industry. Overall if your in the area, give this little gem a try!!"
"Vegan doughnuts!!! Need I say more?! I happened to run across a shared post on Facebook that mentioned they had vegan doughnuts. I literally called right then and there to see if they still had some and drove up! And I wasn't disappointed. From the phone call to ordering in person, the gentleman (I believe he's the owner) that assisted me was so friendly and helpful. I tried the lemon crumble raspberry filled doughnut and Fruity Pebble doughnut. They were both delicious! The jelly filled one was definitely a winner in my book! For someone with a dairy allergy, vegan doughnuts are always a welcomed treat. I will be back!!!"
"Coffee was PERFECT!! A lot to choose from. It was a nice spot to meet up with friends. They even had a play area for children. I'd recommend more seating nooks they were the most inviting."
"This is a location I'm somewhat familiar with being I frequented the former business that occupied this space, yes as the locals may know it was a Starbucks a few years back - it's puzzling how this transition came to fruition and Nervous Dog Coffee Bar can be successful when the giant coffee icon failed couldn't make it here. Well after one visit it was obvious to me that the great customer service and products are the recipe for success. I arrived a few minutes after 6:00 AM and although that was pre-morning rush there were a few customers in and out grabbing their morning fix. The barista was very friendly and got to work on my order immediately and delivered a delicious cup of coffee in under a minute - the freshly brewed coffee was delicious and after customizing it by adding a few shots of half-half at the condiment counter I was on my way to start my day. This location is only a minute or two away from the hotel I was staying and saved me from the awful stuff served in their lobby - I'll definitely return when traveling to the area..."
"The coffee is good, the food is fresh and relatively healthy, though I've never had any of the pastries so I can't speak to the baked goods. But the bagels are fantastic. The ambiance is the main thing; this is the only place in town where I can focus and get any work done. I come almost every day that I'm in town!"
"Compass is another great coffee place. It's a cool looking space. There's plenty of chairs and tables. Quiet atmosphere. You can really get comfortable or do some work. An interesting thing is that it's in the bottom of a church. I don't know if the church is still open but it looked like it. They in spite of this don't have a religious theme. It's actually a social justice kind of place. They give some of their profits to the community to help people who need things. As for the coffee, it's good. They have a small menu but there's variety. I had a cortado. It's $3.50 for a cup. They have some non dairy milks. Among the snacks are those Betty Lou treats which you can eat pretty fast. They have several flavors of these. It overall has some good coffee. It doesn't have much in the way of food. They might at some times."
"Great hotdogs. Enjoy every time we go. Friendly staff. Best for a quick burger that is not a drive thru chain"
"Stopped in on a Saturday morning, not busy. Placed is decorated in 50s decor (Attack of the 50 ft woman poster, Lone Ranger lunchbox) and random stuff like a rhino head on the wall serving as a rubberband holder. More couches than tables to sit on. Comfy. Staff was super nice and friendly. Had an Orange cranberry scone, which was actually scone-like: most US scones are just cake in a triangle shape, this reminded me of scones in Ireland. Solid, not too hard, not too sweet, quite nice. Bacon, egg, cheese on everything bagel: typical, nothing surprising or bad. Didn't have hot sauce :(Overall really liked it. So few non-chain places of any sort in Cleveland it was wonderful to find a cool coffee place we liked."
