"First of all, the workers were incredibly friendly this Saturday evening. Everyone said hi and welcome and goodbye to the guests. They were extremely attentive. You can watch the staff cook while sitting in the bar stools and they are not lazy, efficient, motivated, and very hard working. It was so refreshing to see such good work ethic. The chicken tenders were well seasoned and very moist inside. They were also huge pieces of chicken which I appreciated. The fries are also seasoned with something extra besides just salt which elevates it a bit. Overall great option for some good quality and filling chicken."

"Their pizza and salads are pretty good. Their sauce varies from pretty good to mostly tomato sauce. Never any oregano or basil, this would be authentic. When I order pizza with mushrooms and sausage it's like they put them together in a blender till they are real small and then cover them with cheese. It tastes more like a plain pizza with only sauce and cheese. Other places put slices of mushrooms and similar sized sausage on the sauce and then cheese but you then get real flavor of ingredients"

"We placed a rather large order over the phone for pickup when some family came to visit. They told us a time to come get it, we showed up at said time and waited no more than 2-3 minutes to get our food. The gentleman working rang us out and we were on our way. The food itself was okay. I wasn't enamored by it, but didn't dislike it. I did decide to try something new; so that could be on me. I did try a few bites of things from other family members and it was good. We also got a few things in our bag that we didn't order. Whether intentional or not, it was nice to receive a few extra sides. I don't think anyone disliked their food so would definitely stop by again whether intention person or takeout. I'd like to eat there since the restaurant parking lot is massive but the inside doesn't look that big, seemed a bit dark, but went back a long way."

"I finally found great fried chicken that isn't salty! I kept hearing good things about V's and finally decided to make the drive over to the east side. It took about 25-30 mins to get there and it's carry-out so be prepared to make some holes in the containers so your hot crispy chicken doesn't steam up and turn into soggy fried chicken on the way home. I suggest calling in your order in advance - you will probably still have a wait time when you get there as they come across as being understaffed. A one piece breast dinner is only $6 and includes two sides and a cornbread muffin. You can chose the breading with six different options. I've tried the breast dinner with the honey crunch breading, coleslaw, stuffing with gravy, and paid 45¢ more to upgrade to a biscuit. I've also tried the breast dinner with cajun breading, mac & cheese, greens with rice, and the muffin. I love that neither of the breadings I tried were salty like I have been experiencing with other restaurants. I did not think the cajun was hot at all and actually could barely taste the seasoning. The honey crunch was the best. Both times the chicken was huge with crunchy skin and moist meat. I did not care for the biscuit nor the muffin, I thought both were a bit plain and dry. You don't really need them anyways with all of the crunchy breading from the chicken. As for the sides I thought the mac & cheese was pretty good, coleslaw was slightly sweet and helped offset all of the heavy/fried food. I know a lot of reviews have raved about the greens and rice, but I thought it was just okay, a bit dry. The stuffing with gravy was just okay as well, a bit plain. While the sides I've tried so far aren't anything to rave about, there are still seven more for me to pick from on my third try of V's. I once tried a slice of oreo cake $6, would not get this again. It tasted like refrigerator. They offer other cakes to try like German chocolate, carrot cake, and a chocolate mousse cake. I am going to give them 4 stars because the fried chicken is the star of the show and it really is tasty. However the sides and desserts are lackluster and I really don't like the "5% convenience fee" that they charge if you don't pay with cash. I think they might need to reread their terms and conditions with Visa and Mastercard. I'd rather they raised their prices than pay a fee."

We got the small Pagash, a Medium Chicago Deep Dish with Meatball and Garlic and Breaded Mushrooms.When I walked in I was greeted very warmly and the lady who grabbed my order for me was extremely sweet!!When we got home we dug into the mushrooms and we both agreed they're some of the best we've ever had!! Not overly greasy and very very flavorful, the ranch really tops it off.The Pagash pizza was AH-MAZING!! We wish we'd gotten a larger one of those. I really enjoyed dipping it in the sour cream it came with my by fiancé doesn't like sour cream. Either way it was a great pizza and we will come back solely for that pizza.As for the deep dish, we were not impressed at all. As someone who was born and raised in the Chicago suburbs, this is not Chicago deep dish. I really wanted to trust the reviews that raved about this being the best deep dish outside of Chicago, but it's not. It reminded me of Lou Malnati's and I'm a Giordano's gal through and through. I've had flavorless Lou Malnati's before and while this one wasn't that bad, it was a serious let down for me. It lacked the right amount of cheese to call it deep dish. The cheese it did have was not melty at all and in fact more congealed than anything else which really ruined the experience for us. I couldn't take the garlic we added. I wasn't impressed with the meatball, sauce or crust. Just an absolute let down and now I've got pizza left over that my fiancé won't touch and I'm struggling to convince myself to finish it because I paid for it, but it just doesn't do it for me. I'll stick to getting Giordano's when I visit my family or ordering it frozen and shipped because the deep dish we had tonight is something we will not be getting again.I'm open to trying their other items, but I'd stay away from the deep dish."

"Interesting, as this was my first experience with Vasilio AND using Doordash. As such, I cant speak to the restaurant proper, i.e., the dining room, service, etc. But the food? Wow...pleasantly surprised. The wife and I ordered tortellini and it was a very fair portion, arrived hot just as if I was dining in (perhaps a shout out to the Doordash model addtionally). I will say this, and I'm an Italian guy who is sometimes hard on Italian joints, but I'll say this- best meatballs I've ever had in any local Italian restaurant. Kudos. I'll definitely mak it a point to head out to the restaurant itself, as the on line menu seemed quite extensive with plenty of choices. 2 Thumbs up!!!"
