"The food was good that I genuinely forgot to take a picture for Yelp.My girlfriend knows that I love Indian so she said we should check out Tandul. It was a VERY GOOD decision. I'm not sure if it's because we visited on a Wednesday night but it was pretty empty inside. The only people dining were us and another party but that worked for me.I had the Saag Paneer with Garlic Naan and it was AMAZING! It's very seldom that I go somewhere and eat everything on my plate but this was one of those places. My girlfriend had the Paneer Tikka Masala, which was also good but not as good as the Saag. The only thing I'd change is that I wish it was spicier. The staff were sweet and accommodating. I'll absolutely be back."

"HONG KONG BUFFET is A Pleasant Chinese buffet complete with hibachi Grill , Which has served the greater Mansfield area for a number of years . The restaurant is located in a strip mall in neighboring Ontario ohio . A large parking lot fronts the restaurant , so the walk to the entrance is a short one . The facility is clean and nicely decorated , ( the restrooms , while clean , would benefit from an updating ) The wait staff is friendly and prompt with beverage refills and also quick in removing the spent dish ware. There is a special buffet containing a nice selection of raw Chilled items ( eggs , vegetables , beef, chicken , pork , fish , etc ) that are to be used for diners who want to make use of the hibachi grill . The grille is usually tended to by the chef / owner , but family members may step in as replacement cooks in his absence . At any rate , plated items coming off the grill are delicious , owing to the variety of oils and sauces , that are selected by customer choice and then applied by the chef prior to grilling . By no means taking second place are the three hot buffets which feature a variety of the usual Chinese fare , and a chilled bar featuring shrimp , fruits and numerous cold salads and puddings . Neighboring Hot pots dispense 3 different soups , And An added delight is yet another bar which features cakes , cookies , sugared nuts , and other niceties guaranteed to satisfy ones sweet tooth . Finally an ice cream machine dispenses your choice of vanilla or chocolate soft serve with An accompanying tray containing chocolate or strawberry syrups along with chopped nuts for toppings . Drink prices are not included in the buffet price So they represent the only added cost . Pepsi products are served along with hot or iced tea , and lemonade . So as not to be disappointed , be aware that A few items that USED to appear on the DINNER menu ( served after 4 pm daily ) Have since disappeared , most likely because of increased supplier prices for those items . Crab legs , frog legs and bbq ribs have one by one been deleted , most likely in an effort to avoid increasing dinner prices at the customer level . I thank the decision maker for their concern , and salute their decision in not raising the cost of their dinners .There is however one item that has never appeared on the buffet that is on my personal wish list ....... namely EGG FOO YUNG . I'm not sure about the reason for its absence , but I hope that at some future date it will magically appear in one of the.hot pots . In ending , Why yes .... of course I recommend this place ! Lunch and dinner prices are family friendly , and between the hot buffets , the chilled salad buffet , the hibachi grille , the soup table , and the ice cream and dessert buffets , there is more than enough to satisfy even the most discriminating diner ! Do Go ! You will be pleasantly surprised by the Different food Offerings . My rating : 4 stars , which I will increase to 5 as soon as egg foo yung magically appears on the buffet , lol !"

"The best time to go in is about 15 minutes after opening to 1 1/2 hours. The food I'd hot and fresh. The atmosphere is very relaxed. Honestly I do not like my food under the heat lamps for long. Including after the new food gets brought out the old food gets placed on top of the new food. Since we are limited in All You Can Eat restaurants in the area and I'd rather support locally this one fits the situation. I love the booth section over the chairs."

"I am not a huge buffet fan because the food is never warm enough. That is certainly true here also, but at least the food is good. Everything I had tasted just fine, just wasn't hot. The one thing that was piping hot was the wonton soup and it was very good. Large wontons and broth full of great flavor. If you are not a fan of Chinese food, they do have some American food which looked like nobody was eating. The atmosphere is nothing fancy and the service was good. For just over $20 we both ate dinner and had hot tea to drink, so not a bad deal.Just wish they could figure out how to keep the food hot."

"I think that this is one of the best Asian buffets that I have ever been to they have a very large selection of different foods and they also have dessert everything is fresh it is just, it's just wonderful they have four different Islands with everything from soup to dessert and also they have someone there if you want something cooked and they will cook it for you and you just put all the ingredients that you want on your plate they have sushi they have fried chicken steak ham shrimp crabmeat salad a regular garden salad with all the toppings, fresh fruit the restaurant is very clean and the wait staff is very nice very accommodating and always coming by to check on you to see if you need anything also the bathrooms are clean there was no wait to get into the restaurant and also the price is good I highly recommend that if you take a trip to Erie PA that you stop at this restaurant and I guarantee that you will be wanting to go back again and again, I was too busy stuffing my face to get any more pictures and also the reception was not great"

"Came on a Sunday for Grandma's birthday when the price was $30 for the buffet. Reopened, the buffet is the same as before. Still very good, clean and friendly. I especially like the different salads and the fried chicken, but there are lots of foods, except seafood. The desserts are plentiful, including ice cream. The buffet is also on Friday and Saturday evenings and the price is higher."

"Mrs. Yoder's Kitchen is located in the heart of Amish country in Mt. Hope, Ohio across from the Mt. Hope Livestock Auction site. They have been serving up delicious Amish country food since 1994. Hungry patrons can order from the menu or take advantage of the delicious lunch and dinner buffets. You can get the buffet to go for $8 per pound. There are also daily specials. Business hours have recently been reduced to 11 AM to 7 PM Monday through Saturday, they are closed on Sunday. The restaurant is very popular with locals and tourists. The parking lot is fairly spacious but can get very crowded. If you arrive by horse and buggy you may take advantage of the available hitching posts to secure your animal.The buffet includes a salad bar. They offer a nice variety of entrees and sides. There is something for everyone but he highlight is the amazing marinated and hand-breaded pressure fried chicken. Oh my, it's some of the very best fried chicken I have ever eaten. People are willing to drive a great distance just for the chicken, it's that good. I also really enjoy the meatloaf, roast beef, mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, corn and much more. Your choice of beverage (no alcohol) is included in the price of the buffet but does not include their wonderful homemade desserts which can be ordered separately.Dining at Mrs. Yoder's Kitchen is a very pleasant experience. The food is delicious and service is fast and friendly. Prices are reasonable. I give it two thumbs up, way up. Highly recommended."

They kept the buffet full. One thing to note is that the tandori chicken is green. That is due to the fact they do not put red dye in the recipe. Case kids rejoice."

"Imperial Palace has been a favorite go-to for me and my family for years. While the regular buffet is usually good, for me, the hibachi beats all. It is always delicious, especially if the right person is manning the grill and putting the sauce on in the beginning, rather than at the end. We recently visited the restaurant three times, after taking nearly a year and a half off -- not because of the pandemic, but because the service and quality had taken a huge nosedive during the pandemic. Two visits during the pandemic caused us to give up on this restaurant, but I was so in the mood for it recently that we caved and went back... and kept going back. I'm happy to report that whatever hiccups they were having seem to be resolved. Favorite "regular buffet" dishes for me include honey chicken, bourbon chicken, pot stickers, sweet and sour chicken, beef and broccoli, vegetable lo mein, and those little fried doughnuts. I usually go for a mixed plate from the regular buffet after polishing off my plate from the hibachi. Only negative seems to be that they no longer have pork as part of the hibachi. For about $30 with drinks and tip for 2 people at lunch time, you can really get your money's worth and not be hungry later on. I'm already looking forward to my next visit here."

"I ate here this past weekend for lunch with a dining companion. I had been here many times previously during my college days and decided to eat here once again since I was in Meadville. The decor of this restaurant is not terribly inspiring as there seems to be a clutter of stuff on the right whenever you walk in before the dining area although the dining area and buffet are both clean.My dining companion and I both had the buffet. The food was your traditional Chinese fare like General Tso's Chicken, Egg Rolls, Crab Rangoons, etc and nothing really stuck out as being amazing even though it was all solid. What is nice is that they also have a Mongolian grill. You are able to pick your proportions of meats (pork, beef, shrimp) and vegetables along with your sauce and have them cook it with what the little kid behind me called "some very large chop sticks". This is easily the best part about eating here and the food from the grill is good.The bottom line for me is that I will definitely be back here in the future. While the food is satisfactory, the value is great with the total cost for the buffet which included both the Mongolian Grill and a drink being just over $6/person. That is not a price that you will find too often and so I would easily recommend this place!"

"My boys like it here so I took them during my lunch break when they were off of school a few weeks ago. It's really is your typical Chinese buffet experience with all of the normal fare. They also offer a small variety sushi rolls as well. I've been here a few times and really never had a bad experience. The service is very attentive and friendly, always clearing your plates away as you make another trip up for more. Another thing that stood out was that the food was hot....not luke warm....but hot which was a nice change compared to a few other buffet spots I have been to in the past. You can't beat the price at $9.99 for the lunch buffet. All in all, I think it deserves a solid three stars and is a great option for a quick and filling lunch."

"My son and I were on the prowl for some vittles when I suggested some restaurants to him. He selected Dragon Buffet because it has the highest rating of all buffets in the area. So off we went. Upon arrival, we were immediately seated and our drink requests were taken. I headed to the buffet and my son was like, "Shouldn't we wait for our drinks to arrive?" and I was like, "No, our drinks will be here when we get back from the buffet." So he followed me and we filled some plates. The food is really good and there is a great selection. When we were seated once again, my son said, "I think buffets are my favorite type of restaurant". I agreed because we both like selection and he is a picky eater. We consumed our meal, but I wasn't sure if we were supposed to wait for the check or pay at the cashier. I guess you can do either. The price was reasonable and the food and service were very good. Of note were the steamed mushrooms and seafood stuffed mushrooms. They were excellent.This will be our go to buffet from now on."

Set me in front of a counter filled with battered chicken pieces slathered in spicy and sweet sauce and garnished with a touch of green and I will lose all control. Now that I have confessed I will add that Tops has 6 counters of sticky goodness.Naysayers will state it is not authentic Chinese cuisine and I will agree while smacking my lips and adding another serving to my plate. Say what you will, this stuff is good. Tops is just plain good.What makes it better than most buffets? Lots of picky kid selections. A counter of raw components to have cooked on a large Mongolian grill while you watch. Frog legs - never tried them but a great buffet always has an alternative meat or something with tentacles for a dad to eat and creep the kids. A whole pork roast to slice. Balls of puff pastry stuffed with sweet cream cheese. Sushi. And you know you aren't the only one loving it all because it is packed on a Friday night. Belly up to the buffet my friends!"

"Went here to celebrate a colleague's promotion to another department. Very convenient location to my work. Most of our group got the lunch time buffet for $20; I was hesitant at this high price at first, but then I saw what was offered and found it to be reasonable for the selections. Bear with me because I cannot remember the food items exactly, but that day they had a couple of different salad options: this cubed cheese and meats one, fruits, caesar, grilled vegetable salad with squash and zucchini, etc. There was also a small selection of rolls you could choose from. They had a carving station with prime rib that included au jus and horseradish sauce. Further down the line there were big containers of buttery mashed potatoes, those fancy little carrots and asparagas, chicken marsala, and this divine creamy fish dish. For dessert they had a selection of about five different options of tarts, fruits, cakes, and mousse confections. I was not so impressed with the desserts, but I really wanted to make a couple trips up to the buffet! I would recommend this place for business meals or work celebrations."

We have been coming to Great Taste for nearly 20-years, it's a lunchtime staple.I love the convenience of "fast food" at lunch, and when you come to Great Taste you get that and more. The food is always fresh and the menu is so diverse and delicious. Traditional Chinese food with the basic American dishes thrown in. There is so much to choose from, sit down menu or the buffet until 3:00 with the lunch hour. Start with soup, three to choose from. Appetizers, chicken wings, spare ribs, chicken satay, and egg rolls to get started. Rice, noodles, vegetarian, vegan and plenty of meat dishes to go around. AND the desserts and fruit, with the addition of Hershey's hard scoop. As a vegetarian I love the selection of spicy green-beans, tofu, noodles and veggies that are offered. They have my favorite schezuan tofu dish, packed full of veggies. You can't beat the price for all you can eat at lunchtime. Carry out or eat in, Grubhub or delivery Great Taste is phenomenal."

The kids and I were staying for a four day mini-vacation and are enjoying the resort.My 11 year-old daughter loves steak. The steakhouse wanted a ton of money for one steak. Our first night was all-you-care-to-eat steak (they custom grill the steak for you) and kids are $9.99. Guess where we went? (She WOLFED DOWN five steaks)!My buffet was $24.95 which is average for Ann Arbor and the Indian casino in Battle Creek.I enjoyed two heaping plates of tasty food: prime rib (excellent), and the rest veggies and misc. stuff. All delicious. The creamy mac 'n cheese is particularly recommended. I found the creamed spinach a little bland. The fresh cut fruit was nicely done and presented. The peel-and-eat shrimp had a perfect mix of Old Bay seafood seasoning. That was good eats!I am diabetic so I cannot speak to the fabulous looking desserts but my kids wolfed down TWO PLATES of sweets. Damn! Probably earned me the title of "lousiest father of the year"! (Their mother is an anti-sugar Nazi)...and unsalted saltine crackers are big treats. Damn..[That is a HATER move...SMH] I just hope my kids don't grow up to be blood-thirsty killers or something...My only very small criticism is why roll up butter knives in the set-up roll when it's "steak" night? There were no dinner rolls nor butter for the dull butter knife. I had to practically tackle my server for a real steak knife! Everything in the resort is premium-priced (even a bowl of instant mac 'n cheese is $3.99 in the nearby gift store) so just embrace that the Great Recession is over.EAT and spend money! Enjoy!"
