"Just have to say, many years later and this place is still 5 s !! My order is still the exact same (Tom Kha with tofu, massaman curry with extra veggies, and the occasional Lavendar bubble tea). Food is always excellent !"
"Before I go on with this review, I just want to point out that Kung Fu Tea has a separate business listing so please review those guys there. I see a handful of Kung Fu Tea reviews on here which doesn't belong.Anyways, been here several times already and can honestly say that the food and service is consistent every time!Appetizers I have tried are Onion Soup and Gyoza.Side orders I have tried are Shrimp Tempura and Brown Rice.Sushi that I have tried are Little Delicious Roll, Spider Roll, Ohio Roll, and Kenko Roll. The Teriyaki I have gotten the 3 item option of Shrimp, Chicken, and Beef. The Onion Soup($1.95) is basically Miso Soup with crispy fried onions which is what exactly it tastes like. Pretty good if you like onions. The Gyoza($4.95) on the menu it says it's a shrimp pot sticker but on my receipt is says chicken. Whatever it is, it's just your basic steamed pot sticker that is pan fried on one side. Tastes good especially when you dip it in the gyoza sauce that comes with it.The Shrimp Tempura($2) was a bit disappointing. The one I got was definitely not fresh for it wasn't even lukewarm. At least it was a little bit crispy but the fact that it was obviously not freshly cooked was a major turn off and will probably not order again. The Brown Rice($1.50) is a good alternative to white rice. Same flavor but healthier for you.The Little Delicious Roll($13.95), Spicy Tuna, Imitation Crab, Cream Cheese, Avocado, and Cucumber. Lightly fried and then topped with Spicy Mayo and Eel Sauce. There's nothing little about this roll. Tastes best as soon as it is served to you. Had some leftovers for breakfast, was good but did not taste as good when it was freshly made. The Spider Roll($11.95), Soft Shell Crab, Radish Sprout, Avocado, and Cucumber. Topped with Wasabi Mayo and Eel Sauce. This roll was just ok. I have had better Spider Rolls elsewhere. The Ohio Roll($10.95), Shrimp, Imitation Crab, Avocado, Cucumber, and Asparagus. Topped with Wasabi Mayo. What made this roll stand out is the asparagus. It was decent. The Kenko Roll($12.95) Shrimp Tempura, Imitation Crab, Cucumber, Avocado, and Cream Cheese. Wrapped in Soy Paper with Miso Glaze. This roll has good flavor and is just as good served after refrigeration. The common theme for all these rolls is that they contain most of the same ingredients except for 1 or 2 items. My favorites are the Kenko and Litlle Sushi Roll. The Teriyaki Bowl($13.95 for 3 items) this is the price for 3 items on their menu but on my receipt it says $15.95 plus $2 each for Shrimp and Beef which doesn't make any sense. Of course I opted for all 3 meats. Comes with veggies and white or brown rice. I opted for no rice, just all veggies. I added sauteed mushrooms one time for an extra $1.50. This bowl is just big enough to satisfy your appetite. The teriyaki sauce they throw on top gives it the good flavor you expect. Service wise, when you come in, if you are wanting sushi, you order on the left side of the counter and everything else you want to order, including Kung Fu Drinks, are towards the right. Make sure you mention your sushi order when ordering other things. You pay and then they call out your name when your order is ready.Overall, I have been coming here 1 to 2 times a week as part of my dinner rotation since I am working a contract over at the the University Hospital just a block away. Will definitely miss this place once my contract is up. Yelp 2022 Review #41892 overall"

"My sister was in town for a visit and we were in the mood for Thai food. Found this place by using Yelp, and it was a hit! We had the tofu appetizer which came with a raucous dipping sauce, then Pad Thai (so good!) and Yum Mama (amazing veg option). It's a bit pricey, but worth it!"
"I'm really not a fan of the bubble teas in the Akron area. I was recommended this place by my friends. This is a small bubble tea shop just outside of downtown Kent. It doesn't look like much but their bubble tea is exactly how I like it! I'm very particular about my bubble tea. I got a Taro bubble tea with regular boba light sugar and light ice. It was the perfect temperature and the boba had a very nice consistency. Service was friendly and fast. New to bubble tea and not sure what to get? Right when you walk they have their recommended flavors! I recommend stopping by here if Cleveland is a little too far out of the way for your bubble tea fix."
"Absolutely phenomenal Daddy+Daughter lunch at Thai Pattaya Restaurant in Portage Lakes. Absolutely phenomenal! Cannot wait to go back we got the Appetizer Platter, Spicy Beef, Sticky Rice, Drunken Noodles and Pad Khing. Great Portions and everything was outstanding!BOOM!!!"
"I stopped in while on a date. The atmosphere was beautiful, the place was very clean as expected. My date ordered the waffle breakfast pizza and I ordered the cinnamon raisin waffle.I was shocked by the immense size of the breakfast pizza waffle. It was huge. We shared and I loved both. We were greeted and treated kindly by the staff.I enjoyed the meal and the food was amazing. I can't wait to go back"
"I visited this restaurant today for the first time and I immediately was greeted by one of the workers. The way the restaurant operates it is very similar to Chipotle and the worker was very patient and friendly while I made my selections. I got the create your own ahi tuna bowl which was very good and perfect for lunch. I definitely will be back since the food and service was phenomenal."
"With the weather getting warmer I figured I would ride the motorcycle to work; after finishing for the day I rode from Downtown Cleveland along the lake all the way to Mentor Headlands. On the way back I was trying to figure out what to have for dinner, I had a hankering for something Asian and then I remembered that I wanted to try Sugar Bowl. Located in a small storefront at Ridge Road and SOM Center Road in Willoughby it is easy to miss, but well worth your time to find.Inside is a mainly takeout shop with 2 small tables and a window counter. The menu is compact, some appetizers, a number of Pho and other soups and some other Asian items. I picked the Shrimp Noodle Soup, simple and a great way to try how their food. Ordered and paid at the counter.I had just barely settled in when the food was ready for me. A large bowl of rice noodles, shrimp and broth with a bag on the side with bean sprouts, Asian Basil, jalapeno slices and a lime wedge. The meal was excellent; a heaping helping of tender rice noodles provided body, good sized perfectly cooked shrimp were the main course and the heavenly broth brought it all together. With the side of vegetables, sirancha sauce and hoison sauce you can modify the dish to your personal taste. The highlight of the meal was the broth, light and delicately balanced it just kept getting better.Sugar Bowl was excellent food, they were doing a lot of takeout while I was there. I will be back to try some other items on the menu."
"Decided to get boba tea after the movies. It was pretty good. The only problem was that we had to wait about 20 minutes for it to be prepared. To be fair to the establishment we went on Saturday afternoon around 3:00 PM. It was a chilly but sunny day, with a decent amount of people out ready to have fun. They only had two people working but they had a help wanted, ALL POSITIONS, sign on the door. Plus the man who took the orders was working hard and fast to make everything as quickly as possible without sacrificing quality. He was also polite and kind to my niece. All things considered, I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt. I hope they make it through this tough time on restaurants. Thanks for your hard work. I love the decorations here, there is a little plant wall and some colorful cylinders hanging from the ceiling."
"I found this place while looking for a restaurant near the hotel I was staying at, the 13 minute drive was easy as was the entrance into and out of the parking lot. Once I entered the restaurant I had a few minutes to review the menu board behind the counter while the customers in front of me placed their order. After exchanging greetings with the friendly girl behind the counter I decided to go with the spicy pork ramen minus the fish cake and one order of two steamed pork buns - I was given a number on a stanchion to place on the table as I grabbed a bottle of water out of the cooler then picked a table. There were a few customers eating in but lots of to go orders, the wait time was about 20 minutes but everything seemed fresh and hot when it arrived. I had never experienced a steamed pork bun before so I was really looking forward to trying this out as my ramen cooled a little. I admit I'm not a fan they were well constructed but dense just not my thing I guess, now the spicy ramen on the other hand was absolutely to die for the broth was a little creamy and so spicy, the ingredients were perfectly portioned, nice textures and the noodle were made for slurping, I worked those chop sticks and the elongated spoon like a pro and found the bottom of the paper bowl in recorded time. This is a meal worth repeating over and over and over again - the service was great and the staff was grateful making it a wonderful experience. The perfect meal for a reasonable price I can wait to return when in the area..."

Well only went to get papaya salad which is hard to find in Cleveland especially in the winter. Summertime there are a few places that make it. This did not disappoint it was exactly what I was craving. I would definitely go and eat there and try other things.

For a easy yummy teriyaki chicken bowl on Cwru campus made quickly and has large portions, Kenko is for you. I do feel that their flavoring has decreased a little and that could be improved but also we can request more sauce ourselves so that's not a problem.

Excellent fusion restaurant for different types of Asian cuisine! In addition to the food options, there are also different types of bubble teas available. We were greeted when we arrived in the restaurant and was able to be seated immediately. I noticed that the restaurant is doing an excellent job of following COVID safety protocols. Once we were seated, someone came to give us menus and take our drink orders. We ordered appetizers first which were delicious. I highly recommend the summer rolls! The appetizer platter was super good too. My favorite item on the platter was the dumplings. I ordered the pho with shrimp and absolutely loved it! The broth was seasoned well and the plate that contained the fresh veggies for the pho was substantial. In my opinion this is the best pho in the Akron area. The staff was hard-working, friendly and very attentive. I look forward to eating here again.

Always willing to try something new, especially breakfast joints, we tried this on a Sunday morning. The waffles are very good but it's the other areas of the experience that fall short. Service - We received plenty of attention at our table but it was almost too much. And two servers seemed to compete with how many times they would stop by. When I asked a some kind of sugar or sweetener for my coffee (there are none on the tables), saying "anything but Sweet N Low", she brought me just that. Clearly not pay attention to my request. Atmosphere - There are no windows and light from the glass doors is blocked by a wall, giving a somewhat claustrophobic feeling. The walls are painted black and it doesn't appear that much prep work was done before painting any of the dining area surfaces before the work was done. Food - As mentioned, the waffles are very tasty. They would benefit by placing some maple syrup and other condiments on the tables.

Loved it. Tasty and filling. Mango and avocado were perfectly ripe. Wish they had gluten-free edible bowls to cut down on all the plastic plates they use. Will be back!

"I'm at 1st timer- takeout via Delivery The Chicken Coconut Soup was amazing!Thail Basil with Steak was Outstanding the flavors are very delicious. The option for Thai iced was not available but I called and they told me to make a note of it and they would charge me for it. And that was good, not the best but the taste was good.I also ordered the Tom Yum Soup which has shrimp and I'll some rice in it. Also it was very delicious. Definitely worth the money. My phone wasn't near me or else I would have pictures. I will be ordering again very soon!"
"Got there papanana bubble tea and it's was sooo good! Papaya and banana if you haven't guessed it. It's such a good blend of fruit and creamy.Haven't had the food yet but want to try it, the ramen sound like something out of Naruto ! Hahaha"
"First time here. This place is a Westlake GEM! The food here checks all boxes. It is affordable and priced well, very tasty, and it's healthy for you! And the staff here is super helpful and accommodating. Very clean and spotless dining area and bathrooms too. There are free garages to park your car just around the corner as well. We will make a habit of coming to Crocker Park to walk around and shop, then go to Bodhi Express for a healthy, flavor filled lunch or dinner! I'm a fan!"
"This is so delicious!! The tea is the perfect amount of sweetness and the boba is delicious. The thai milk tea comes with boba so you don't need to add that on. The girls working there were very nice and helpful when ordering, as it was my first time here. The atmosphere is so cute and would be a nice place to come with friends!"
"Teeny-tiny little spot unexpectedly located in an otherwise Irish-focused shopping plaza, serving up tasty, flavorful, high-quality Boba tea. friendly employees, interesting, and intentional decor, just a couple of seats. Ask for their recommendations if you're not sure what to get. I've been a couple times now, and truth be told, I'm not even sure what I've gotten, because I usually just ask for a suggestion and go with it. But everything has been good!"
"I must say this year my birthday cake was Very delicious. The almond cake was nice and moist and the raspberry filling was such a delight. I will be sure to return for my bakery needs"
"After moving from Chicago, where Teamo originated, we were so excited to see it here in CLE. Love their ube cheesecake baos and mochi donuts! The baos are nice and warm with the sweet cheesecake filling. The donuts have that nice chewy mochi texture. Disappointed because first time we went they were sold out of bao and the second time, sold out of donuts. Service is a little slow, waited almost 20mins for half a dozen donuts and one drink because. Overheard one of the workers saying she forgot about packing our donuts so added to the wait time. Cafe itself is cute with decent amount of seating."
"I visited the stand at the Asian festival. I saw that it was made with dairy free milk so I was sold. I don't completely remember the name of the drink. It had the name mooncat in it. It is taro with a strawberry purée and pearls at the bottom. The drink was beyond fabulous. It almost tasted like nestle strawberry quick to me with an added flavor. I will have to visit the store now so I can get this drink again and try the food."
"I'm very thrilled to announce that this restaurant is a vegetarian's dream come true! The menu is really extensive and had so many veggie options that I lost count. I was on cloud nine! But first, we'll get the carnivorous entrees outta the way. My hubby ordered the hot and sour beef soup. It was tasty and the heat wasn't overwhelming. He also had the Pad Mee which was mild. We shared a small order of the veggie rolls. They were light and crispy with just the right amount of veggie filling. Now onto what I was most excited about...the curry! They have a rather enticing selection of curry dishes, ranging from mild to hot, green, red and everything in between. I got the veggie tofu red curry and rice. It was medium heat and very flavorful. The white rice was very nice, fluffy and a little dense. Perfect for sopping up all of the curry goodness. The dinner portions were definitely enough for 2 meals. Also noteable was the bubble tea. I got the mango flavored. I think I may have a new addiction! They have about 9 other flavors to choose from. And the Thai custard with sticky rice. Do yourself a favor and order one or three for dessert. You'll want your own. It doesn't look very appealing, but oh honey! Your tastebuds will thank you! Overall, everything we ordered was excellent! They use fresh, quality ingredients and it shows. A breathe of fresh air in the otherwise kinda boring pizza and fried pub food scene in this neck of the woods. The young fella that waited on us for our to go order was really nice, too. And the interior got a complete overhaul from the previous Golden Sea days. We can't wait to explore more of their menu!"
"So excited about this place!!! My wife and I were sad when Ginger Sushi Burrito permanently closed down but this is a much better option! Are these the same owners? We stopped in to end the year on a good note and so glad we did. The interior looked clean and modern and they have nice quality chopsticks and boba straws. The service was very fast and friendly. We ordered pork belly buns, soy garlic wings and grilled chicken ramen. The pork belly buns were delicious and the fried chicken wings were perfectly cooked and the sauce was amazing! We were also surprised at the quality of the ramen and it's the best in town!We can't wait to try their boba teas in the near future and I highly recommend checking out this place!"
"I promised I'd give up Bubble Teas when in Cleveland. But my addiction kicked in. And I was left singingWoop, I did it againI went to Beachwood, got lost in the MallOh baby babyWoop, you think I'm at homeBut I'm sipping Bubble Tea at WoopI'm not that innocent!2.5 star average? Are you kidding me? I was going to give 5 anyway but definitely now. Holy underrated Boba, Batman!Cleveland is a city that doesn't really have any good bubble tea. Nothing remarkable anyway. Koko might be the best one. Or Phusion. But honestly, Woop is as good as anything else. Specifically the honey tea which is great. I can't vouch for the others, but I will definitely give it a nice healthy 5 star rating because I did enjoy it and we'll be going back to try it again at some point. Me and the girl that did the mall tour with me.Woop has really yummy honey tea, which is as good as anything at Koko or Phusion, the top spots for BT in CLE. They have inconsistent but decent tapioca pearls. The price is a little high but the girls are really nice. I will try honey dew and others next time. The only negative comment I have is the long, argumentative response to the 1-star review. I agree, the 1-star reviews of this place suck, and may even be fake in a couple of cases. But this business is forgetting the golden rule. Do not call out your customers in public. Do not say their review is "written inappropriately." Do not get into public arguments with them. Ever. At all. Why? Because, nobody is really going to read that silly review anyway, or take it seriously. But you know what they will read and take seriously? A business owner response. If you sound argumentative or aggressive or annoyed in a response, it can (and will) really put people off.Remember. There are 1,000,000 clueless customers out there and some will write Yelp reviews. But there is only one owner of a business (or so). And you want to make sure that the personality you put forward publicly has class, confidence, with zero drama and zero negativity. My advice to business owners is either do not respond to negative reviews, or, if you must, then be like Gandhi or Martin Luther King or Mother Teresa when you do. Peace and understanding. Don't take it so seriously. And if you can't take criticism, don't f***ing read it. This is not aimed at Woop. This is aimed at 83% of business owners in general. And at the 91% of people who irresponsibly fabricate statistics.Hopefully they'll heed my advice and adjust or remove that comment. And if anyone tries to steal my bubble tea, I'll Woop their ass."
"Amazing little shop in GPC featuring 20+ flavors of popcorn, vintage candy, unique sodas and more. Great for gifts. Friendly and fast service. Always get more than you think you would want. It goes fast."
"Highly recommend Candy Cloud if you're looking for a coffee, shake, lemonade, smoothie or more! There's so many different types of drinks and you can even create something of your own. The price points are affordable and reasonable and the sizes are perfect. I love the branded cans they come in - you get a custom made-to-order drink every time which is so cool. The s'mores shake was delicious as well as the mocha cookie crumble frappe. Also the strawberry lemonade was so good! I can't wait to go back."
"Very subpar experience here. There were two people behind the counter not busy and no one greeted me or asked if I needed help. Once I decided what I wanted I had to ask THEM to help me, go figure?! I asked if they made the cookies on site and the lady whispered something under her breath "shrugs. Once again no greeting after I made my purchase. I probably should have just walked out of the store but I wanted to support a Woman-Owned business. The price of the macarons was not an issue because I know the value of this dessert. The taste did not make up for the experience because the cookies were stale. Customer service and focus is key and this place lacks both."
"I ordered some cupcakes from this establishment to be delivered via Postmates and was very disappointed. Not only was my order incorrect but the cupcakes were dried out and frankly store-bought. For a $3 cupcakes, I expected better! :( I do not recommend purchasing baked goods from this store."
