Madison V. "Absolutely Fantastic! We were doing a staycation this year and planned to go to several new to us restaurants. This was by far our family's favorite one. We grabbed the Large Pretzel for an appetizer, my husband tried two of the beers and loved them both. Then we all got something different. The price was great too! We ended up going on a Monday so two or the kids meals were free. Everyone loved everything. We will absolutely be going back!"

My brother and I have great memories of the home made rootbeer, smokies from the back fridge, the gumbo, and the pulled pork spaghetti.It's been years since I've visited but brought my fiance while in town. The menu has changed over the years and my favorites are gone but I absolutely loved the chili. The flavor was amazing and I wish I would have gotten a big bowl of it. The wings are a huge portion and the flavor is good. My fiance enjoyed his burger a lot. I found the pulled pork to be a little dry but the sauce was great. I enjoyed the little fried onion bites.Overall great meal and felt nostalgic :) our server was great as well!"

The food is not that memorable but they do have an extensive menu and I'm sure there's something for everyone here. What was memorable for me was the beer artifacts. They have an impressive wall filled with shelves of different types of beers. On top of that, there's also cases full of vintage beer momentos. This is a fun little place to stop with friends, enjoy some beers and look at some beer history.

I was here as part of the Chocolate Walk and they are so nice and friendly and welcoming. They also gave away this amazingly huge buckeye. I didn't eat here, but I was starving by the time I got to this stop and I regret not having a bite. I'll be back!

Very nice atmosphere, food was good and so was the service. They still have some work to get to 5 stars. We got one meal the a month later another then our waitress sat the we were still missing 2 other orders and went back and got the other 2. Didn't really get to eat together. They only had can sodas and no teas or fountain drinks. We had the boys and wasn't there to drink, but to eat and enjoy the setting.

It's not often you get to say your experience was perfect. First, the GM, Izzy was knowledgeable, kind, entertaining and engaging. My server Sidney was charming, helpful, efficient and encompassing. Perfect service all around. The pizza is...for lack of a better phrase... life changing. The sauce was flavorful and distinct but didn't overpower the toppings. The crust was crispy but chewy. It's probably the best pizza I have ever had. The Happy Sunshine beer was light, crisp, and refreshing but I added orange slices to it that gave it more complexity. It is open and roomy. Family friendly. Just an amazing place. It may be a bit pricey on the food in some places but so reasonable in others and the drinks were priced well below what they are worth. They have bands on Saturday. I can't wait to go again!

First of all, awesome spot across from the market. There are indoor and outdoor seats, our group sat inside. The beer is awesome, I had a Mexican lager and my partner had the Dortmunder. We ordered an appetizer that never came out, but the food that did arrive was really good! I can't say enough good things about the Mac and cheese and the fries are super good; thick curly potato slices with a nice crispy finish and a delicious dipping sauce. No pics because we ate too fast, but definitely a great place to stop if you're in Cleveland!

Micaela M. "The first time I went to tricky tortoise was when they first opened and it wasn't the best, but they really turned around some of the food to make it more high quality and delicious. The second time I went there was live music and a magician that was going around to different tables which was a lot of fun. Servers are very attentive and nice. Denise Y. "We were intrigued by the historical aspects of this place and with the outdoor patio setting we were a go to try Great Lakes Brewing company. Sorry - we aren't beer connoisseurs so we cannot attest to that part of the place. Our server was also the bartender and despite being busy she took good care of us. I had hoped to try the Sun Sail Away Cocktail, but they were sold out (too popular I guess ). She suggested I try the Good Vibes cocktail and while it was topped with an IPA it was surprisingly good. We shared the Monday Rib special. It was good and we are a little picky since we are from Kansas City and enjoy KC BBQ. The real surprise was the Mac & Cheese! It had a unique flavor and style. It was shard to share equally with my spouse. We appreciate places that accommodate dogs and especially when they will cook a plain chicken breast for our Golden as well as live in him. This was a good midday stop for us."
