"The chicken schnitzel was excellent and a huge portion! The garlic mashed potatoes had so much garlic they were inedible and I let my husband try them and he also couldn't eat them. My 3 stars is for the wait staff, I didn't find them to be very friendly to me as a tourist but they were friendly to people that were obvious regulars. I asked if they served coke or Pepsi and the waiter said cola and looked at me like I asked the most dumb question ever. Coke and pepsi has different products so I feel that was a valid question. Maybe I just visited on a bad day but I probably wouldn't come back whenever I'm in the Cleveland area again.Update: Thank you to the owner for replying and explaining the cola situation! I would definitely give the place a second chance now that I know, maybe I would try a different side dish! Thank you so much for replying!"

"I am so impressed by this place!! The restaurant we were planning to go to for brunch was closing soon so we spontaneously called this French cafe and they were able to accommodate us despite being busy. We ordered the Steak and Boursin sandwich, the Mushroom D'auvergne Complete savory crepe (with brie cheese instead of blue cheese), the side of ratatouille, and the side of sausage. Everything was outstanding - we were so glad we ended up here and both agreed it would be difficult to order different items on the menu next time because of how much we loved our food! They also had many sweet options, including delicious looking sweet crepes, but we usually lean more savory. The cafe itself is definitely petite, which I honestly prefer for noise level and the feeling of intimacy when dining out. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this cafe to others!"

"Best West side diner. The place actually is an old style diner complete with round stools at the counter and lots of 50's memorabilia decorating the walls. Checkered linoleum floors! Specials each day. Breakfast to burgers it's all delicious. I had the corned beef quesadilla. Tender juicy corned beef and sauerkraut with Swiss cheese and egg sandwiched between a grilled tortilla. Yum. Served with Chipotle Mayo or Thousand Island. Fountain drinks. The real standout here is the fantastic service. Not stressed just really friendly, efficient and attentive. We stayed a bit when we were done eating and chatted with the servers. Truly nice folks. Plenty of parking. Loved all the art of old time stars. Good prices. We will be back."

"Visited Mike's place recently. The outdoor decor caught my eye so I checked the yelp reviews. The reviews were good, so a visit was scheduled. Upon arrival, we were immediately seated and we began to take in the decor. We found ourselves laughing out loud at some of the signs on the wall. Then we started reading the menu and we laughed some more. The rules are hillarious! The waitress made a drink suggestion for me and I tried it, but the blue cider wasn't my thing. So I just went with Mountain Dew. For dinner, my wife requested ribs, my son, chicken and biscuits, and fish and chips for me. Tasting the food made me realize that despite all of the humor in and around this restaurant, they take at least one thing seriously - the food. The food is real good. You can see and taste the attention to detail in the food. My fish and chips were very good. The tartar sauce was great. In fact, all of their homemade sauces were amazing.We really liked this restaurant and eating here is an experience you'll want to try. It may not be for everyone, but that's okay. We'll be back."

The service was very prompt and friendly, they have a great cocktail menu and had some seasonal specials, and the food was good. We ordered the pigs in a blanket which were good but not very much food for how much they are. I got the almond crusted walleye and the rice was super flavorful, and the crust was great, but it just needed a bit of salt. My boyfriend ordered the burger and said it was good, the fries were great with the rosemary and garlic. He was especially impressed that the bartender was on top of switching the games on the tv's (guardians playoffs, must watch!) Would come back again!"

Enter take out from Prosperity Social Club. The place was packed when I went in to grab my food, on a Monday night no less. Adorable, old world vibes inside. I can see why our AirBnB host recommended this place for a relaxed meal. We were looking for more traditional Cleveland fare, and we definitely found it here. The chicken paprikash and noodles with cabbage and kielbasa really hit the spot, and the patty melt was a hit as well. We did regret not getting any cabbage rolls; they looked delicious. If I'm ever back in Tremont, I will absolutely be back and will dine in."

I don't write reviews unless something is done right and I have to tell you that these guys really did everything right I got a burger and it really was of utmost quality. It was such a good time to come to this place, and by the time we left, Pennywise had changed costumes into Michael Jackson's wolf character from thriller.If you like horror movies, good theming fandom and great food, it really doesn't get any better than this and anytime someone puts their heart into something the way the owners have in the Haunted House restaurant then it deserves to be applauded. These guys are awesome, and the food was really good too."

We loved the fact that we could order breakfast all day and we chose some great brunch items. My husband had the Eggs Benedict substituting a zucchini patty for the pork. He really liked the taste of it and would order it again. I had the Sandy Bar and it was cooked to perfection. We both especially loved the breakfast potatoes, and how they were prepared. This place is an Akron institution, and everyone should check it out. Now, I was going to post an update to my review due to a recent visit when I discovered I had never reviewed it, so I'll just tell you about that experience. I stopped in with my six year old after going to the zoo recently. It's perfect for a zoo trip, I think it's less than a five minute drive. It was a bit of an odd time, and we ended up having the restaurant to ourselves. We sat at the bar, and my son ordered a root beer (Bob's own label), a hot dog and fries. I ordered a Bob's Double Cheeseburger with everything, and a side of onion rings. It had been a while since I had been there, and I honestly don't think I've taken my son before. When we pulled in he said it doesn't look special. I told him it's iconic and a throw back, which I don't think he understood. So we are seated at the bar, and I'll say he thought it was pretty cool that he could watch our food being cooked like 4 feet away. He LOVED the hot dog, it's big, I think a quarter pound. He's usually pretty picky on fries, but he ate quite a bit of them, then wanted to take them home, lol. Now on to my food. If you've never had a Bob's Burger before, you are missing out. They are smashed and griddled and just delicious! An Everything is Onion, Pickle, Lettuce, Bob's Sauce, which is like this tomatoey, relishy thin sauce with a bit of tang to it, and Stray Dog mustard. Boy, the combination of the sauce and mustard, with the crunch of the veg and the gooey cheese and smashed, well seasoned patties is just about perfect in my opinion. Certainly a great burger, one of the best in the area imo. And the onion rings are just amazing! Hand battered per order, fried and crunchy, the onion is soft. Without a doubt my favorite in the area!I would be remiss too to not mention the staff. Our waitress was amazing, talking to my kid, asking him questions, just being so nice to him. There were several other people that worked there that came out and talked to him too. It was great! And when we left, my son couldn't quit talking about how special that place was after all!"

Very good. My boyfriend got the chicken sandwich which was really messy, but he said it was good too. We snapped some holiday pics together and even saw Santa in the entryway.
