The shop keep was very helpful and knowledgeable about all his stock, he gave us several good suggestions so I bought a few bottles of what he suggested, I loved it! I got a single malt whiskey aged in spiced rum barrels, which has great! The selection we wide and extensive. I will definitely be back!"

EJ M. "I absolutely love Wayne's. Their seasonal produce is almost always cheaper than anywhere else. They have lots of unique offerings as well as a nice deli. In response to a couple other reviews: I've never had an issue with their produce spoiling quickly compared with other stores, and I've never noticed that their produce is consistently poor. I think all produce anywhere you buy it is hit or miss. Also unlike at the supermarket, their produce rotates in and out because they tend to have whatever is in season. I rely less on labels and more on appearance to find what I'm looking for. There's always some difference between what a sweet pepper and a hot pepper, for example. I've almost always had positive experiences with the staff in all parts of the store, and I think the employees, young and old, are generally friendly and helpful. The deli is a busy place but I've never had anyone be rude to me there. The only time I've had any issue was when I didn't grab a number because they didn't look too busy. Word to the wise... they still go in order and you will get skipped if you didn't grab a number!"

I was totally impressed with the Manager/Owner, he was so helpful, he even demonstrated the proper way to taste wine and also the proper way to hold the glass. He thoroughly explained what makes a wine sweet, less sweet, dry etc. I told him that I am interested in wine classes, he even offers wine classes! This place is a win-win and the staff is always pleasant. My visit for New Years Eve 2020 was supposed to be an in and out trip, nope I enjoyed speaking with the owner and staff so much, I ended up being there over 30 mins! Tara M. "This place reminds me of those restaurants/bars that you would go to after your sporting events in grade school for a good meal. We ordered mostly appetizers to share for our meal. Here is what we ordered: Appetizers:- Reuben balls - these were tasty but kind of strange. They definitely taste the best when paired with the sauce they come with.- mozzarella moons - these were decent but kind of bland in my opinion- Cajun calamari - one of the better calamari dishes we have had in Cleveland - Buffalo chicken dip with pita - excellent because they didn't try to get fancy with it! My favorite appetizer! - soft pretzel sticks - these were just ok. They were a little hard in some spots Soups: - chicken and dumpling (soup of the day) - so good! This is the kind of dish that we will be coming in for on a winter day! - potato cheddar soup - this one was just alright. I could see it being a better dip than a soup though- chili - the chili was a miss in my opinion. It had the consistency of salsa and just wasn't great in terms of flavor.Wings:- 12 Sweet BBQ boneless wings - these were delicious! I will definitely be ordering this flavor again! My husband and stepsons love boneless but I'll probably be ordering the bone in for myself next time. We are excited to try other flavors too!- 12 Garlic Parmesan boneless wings - these were really good too in terms of flavor but were a bit dry. I wish they were a bit more saucy.Side dishes: Shoe string fries - Yum!!! These were delicious and definitely something I'll be ordering again. Next time I'll ask if they have vinegar to go with them. Waffle fries - my husband and stepsons really enjoyed the waffle fries. They were not my favorite because they had a seasoning on them that was orange in color that I don't really care for. This is a personal preference thing.Overall, New Heights Grill was delicious, the staff was kind and the interior was nostalgic with many tvs to watch sports on! We are excited to return!"

They saw me buying several at a time and offered to get me full cases for cheaper. I of course took them up on their kind offer. So, every month I purchase 2 cases from them. Not only that but, their beer and wine selection is awesome. They are by far the cheapest around and if you want or need empty bottles, they'll sell them to you. We've been trying to make some of our favorite cocktails at home and, it turns out, our favorite cocktails require kind of obscure ingredients. Asking for creme de violette or green chartreuse at other liquor stores just yielded "....." faces and no help what-so-ever. At Minotti's they've been able to point us to what we were looking for or offer to order it for us, which has been really nice. This specific location, I think, is worlds above the location in Parma. The selection is bigger and the staff is nicer. If you're in the market for liquor (and let's be honest, who isn't!?) this is the place to go. Especially if what you are looking for is unusual or hard to find."

Sarah B. "while home for the holidays, i decided to cruise around town in my mom's minivan (because i always ride in style) and see the changes since my last visit. after driving past the empty shell that was hawkins market and a random assortment of thrift shops, craft stores, and other oddities, i noticed an OPEN sign that was still lit at montavino wine market.after my initial shock at discovering a WINE MARKET (!!!) in WOOSTER, OHIO wore off (seriously, this still kind of blows my mind), i parked to go inside. technically it was after closing time, but there were still customers at the wine bar and tables, and the pianist was still playing so i entered.one of the owners greeted me, and i told him how shocked and delighted i was to have found them. turns out they had been there for years, but of course i haven't lived in wooster for years. he helped me pick out a few bottles as gifts for my brother and his wife, great recommendations which were affordable, tasty, and totally suited to the descriptions of what i wanted.if i still lived in the area, i could easily see myself meeting up with friends at montavino to share a bottle and shoot the shit. it's a really cute and cozy space with nice lighting, great wine, and good music. if you're in wooster, be sure to check it out. Kevin S. ""The Screw" used to be just south of the current location, in yet another abominable, godless strip mall, but the good folks at Johnny's decided, "Hey, let's build a stage, stitch up some costumes, hire a band, and put on a SHOW!" So they moved north, just a bit, to a new, dedicated location. (You almost can't believe the 'Screw even exists; I find myself rubbing my eyes each time I enter. "Whuck?") The interior of the place is more typical of an urban likker place than one stuck in the 'burbs; nice layout, with a "wine loft" just up the stairs. Very open feeling, but here's the BEST part...The people working here, and I mean ALL of them, really get the whole deal. They understand that you want some hooch, or vino, or just a sixer, and they are standing by for aid and comfort, served up with wit, charm, grace and intelligence. ("Desperate Housewines," e.g.) As noted above, this place is in the wilds of Richfield but seems more on a par with Manhattan, or Old Bond Street, or Avenue Montaigne, or Moscow's oh-so-trendy Tretyakovsky Proyezd in its presentation and vibe.I was just over there snagging some chewable cab for my oenophile bunkmate, and it was, yet again, an enjoyable experience. Just below five star, as their turnover of product isn't what it could (and should) be, so the chance that they may not have exactly the single malt for which I hanker is high. Hey. I have very real, human needs.Give this place a visit. I've yet to hear anyone having a bad experience. (I'll forgive Bryn his geographical slip: this is in Richfield, where it was once in Bath. Maybe i'm a drunk who can't remember what the hell i did from 2003-2006. Regardless, this store was pretty decent. They provided the liquor for my first ever attempt at outfitting a full home bar. I had found an old cocktail recipe book and thought i was the Lake County Paulius. I ended up making a bunch of Tequila Sunrises and triple sec Bloody Mary's. Gross, i know. I just stick to beer and rum now. They always had a good selection of British ales and other imports back before Giant Chicken bolstered their variety. They also, like all good liquor stores, gave us boxes for moving. Now i have Bombay Sapphire, Patron and Bailey's boxes as furniture and storage some five years later. Dilara C. "I'm sure my cardiologist won't like reading this, but I made a stop at Cheese Haven and it fulfilled all my hopes and dreams with curds, whey, and more. The cheese: ok cheese is in their name so you know they come correct. SO MANY cheeses and varieties; aged, smoked, spicy, and more. We snagged a few different varieties. Our fave was the smoked Swiss and the Colby Jack. Lower on the list was one of the dill cheeses; it was crumbly and not as dilly as we would have liked. Prices vary per pound, but each chunk starts around $5 for a chunk and depending on the type of cheese, you could pay &15+ for a chunk. The spreads: all of these were on point. The simple beer mustard was our fave because, beer + mustard. But they have a nice little selection of spreads and pickled things to add to your charcuterie or cheese board. The candy: our kids got handfuls of salt water taffy and could have easily put themselves into a diabetic coma if we would have not imposed candy limits. Lots of cool candies, old school nostalgic options and literally the most comprehensive assortment of Cow Tails I've ever seen (Oreo, Honey Bun, etc) there are some cool retro toys on display and also a nice assortment of cool Pez to purchase. The wine: a really great assortment of Lake Erie wines from local wineries. My mother in law is a sucker for Pink Catawba, so of course we snagged a bottle. Other stuff: we didn't get any smoked meats (much to my chagrin) nor did we try any popcorn, but next time we definitely will."

First off, if you know Chagrin Falls, you know that parking can be challenging. But Oddfellows has a HUGE advantage because there's on-street parking right in front and the big Heinens parking lot in back. And yes, there is a very obvious back door to the restaurant, giving you amazing access to free parking. I went last night with 6 friends, several of whom are extremely picky. We were seated at a perfectly sized squarish table in front, making it very easy for us to converse (we don't like being seated at long tables). We ordered the mussels, Bell & Evans chicken, salmon, tandori cauliflower, beet salad (with salmon added) and 2 had the shrimp bucatini And though my friends are notorious for sending food back, EVERYONE was pleased with their meal the first time around :-) I've got to say, we marveled over the shrimp bucatini. Not only were the shrimp HUGE, but there were 9 of them! Several friends vowed to order that dish next time. Our server, Bianca, was fabulous. She came back to the table frequently to refill water, and just was always visible and checking in on us (without being annoying at all). She was so personable! And when we got the checks (which they split for us as requested with no resistance), each one was delivered in a little hardcover book. What a cute touch! The pages of the book would've been blank, except guests were invited to write notes inside. We'll definitely be back, and maybe next time we'll save some room to try the baked hot chocolate dessert."

The ambiance is cute with a few different tables and a communal table for couples/ singles. Bottles of wine adorn the built in library walls and it does seem cozy. I love the original typewriter in the bar area.We sat at the shared table, pulling up QR codes for the menu. We had to flag the only one person serving the entire bar down so that we could order drinks and food. She took our drink order, and then probably about 30 minutes went by after we were eyeing her left and right, it was clear to us that she was too busy or not making eye contact because she couldn't keep up with what was happening. Or at least I thought. After watching her have a full-blown conversation with the other person working there up at the bar area, we finally were able to get some food in, as my bf flagged her down. Olives for $7. A couple had pits that they missed I guess. But only about 12 olives total. Absolutely ridiculous. The BBQ chicken flatbread? Perhaps not. The dough was like a matzoh cracker. The chicken tasted like bland boring boiled chicken. After having been there for about 45 minutes with no food and only a couple of very strong Manhattans that were not well made, I was starting to get loopy so I wolfed down the flatbread even though it tasted like garbage. They have a lot of stuff Cryovac in the freezer which is super helpful. They also had Cryovac pierogies which were pretty good but not great because in my opinion the door was a little thick so they ended up being kind of dry. That's just a preference though those pierogies were mostly noodles with just a little bit of potato inside I prefer the dough a bit thinner so you get more flavor from the ingredients. They also have a decent selection of micro beers from the neighborhood. I also found sauerkraut balls! I grew up on those things when I was a kid. I love those things so much so I got six of them in Cryovac and took them home to my freezer.Clearly most of the people coming in their shop there all the time. They were militant about the Covid distancing and only let a certain number of people in at any given time. There was a deli counter and everybody was smiling while they were working. I saw some pretty good pickles too. Basically if you are looking for an Eastern European grocery store that carries basically everything you need this is the way to go. It's not fancy, but I don't need a liquor store to be fancy. I need it to be well-stocked, and this place fits the bill. North Court had a wide selection of hard liquor, wine, and beers. I was happy to see some from DuClaw and my old stomping grounds in Ithaca, but those were just some of the many options. There are two bays of refrigerators housing grab-and-go beers. They also have pretty much everything you would need as a first time home-brewer. I spoke to the older gentleman working there and he was happy to have a chat about the brewing supplies. Yes, it's kind of a pain in the ass that they will only take cash for hard liquor, but that's not uncommon in Medina County unless you're shopping at the Big Bird. Given their selection, I'd be happy to return, though, for some illogical reason, slapping down $267 in cold hard cash for a bottle of Macallan 18 is going to sting more than it would if I were swiping a credit card."
