"My friend had been here before and loved the vibes so she suggested it for dinner. We had a reservation but they didn't seem busy as of yet for a Friday evening.We had a fantastic server! Can't remember her name but she was friendly and personable. She also let us move to another table since it was wobbly.We ordered a pitcher of the traditional mojito to share along with guacamole, then we all opted for arepas. I got La sucia (steak), while my sister got Pernil (pulled pork), and my friend got the Mexicana (chorizo with jalapeños). They also give you a handful of sauce options for the table which give a bit more spice or flavor to the arepas.The arepas come with a side so we all chose yuca fries. The arepas are pretty big and kinda heavy so I had a hard time eating all of it. We all had leftovers for the next day!Overall, I like the decor. The outdoor patio had a tiki vibe, while the inside is more modern with a motorcycle in front of a wall decorated with flowers and greenery. They also had TVs outside showing the baseball games.Tons of parallel parking nearby. But there's also a large parking lot just a bit down the street. I'd come back!"

Pork cheek mushroom risotto was not - flooded with oil (why?) and risotto was undercooked. Pointed the oil out to the busboy but received no response. Also, meal was not fully gluten free as I was having issues when I returned home that lasted through the night!!! Wine pairings were also poor.Update- received a wonderful call from manager. "We had made a reservation since we were a large group of 11. We sat in an area that was technically indoors but they had the doors completely open to let in air. But we hardly had any airflow and there weren't any fans so it was stifling and very hot. Most of us were sweating! We did have a great server. Didn't mess up our orders at all and she was really nice. She kept our waters filled and after a while, another worker made sure our waters were filled too.I got the veggie burger since most things on the menu didn't interest me. I got it with a side salad but the vinaigrette was acidic for me so I couldn't finish. I loved the burger though! It was beyond meat.The rest of my table mates got breakfast since they were still serving it or other items on the menu. I got the chance to try the fries which came with an aioli and ketchup. So good! I do like the vibe here though. Tons of outdoor patio seating and I like the indoor area since the had the games on. It's cute! They also had a good playlist in the background. Tons of Britney Spears.They're still developing the area so there didn't seem to be much around here but we found parallel parking really easily just a caddy corner across the street."

"We decided to try Flip Side because the Seed Oil Scout App rated it high for not using seed oils. The staff said the fries are cooked in lard and they may be the best fries I've ever had. The decor is sharp looking and nicely executed. The service and staff were great. The only thing keeping me from giving them 5 stars is that my burger was a little over cooked. I ordered medium, but it was closer to well done. It has caramelized onions and bacon on it, and a fancy bun, and it was fabulous though. The other three burgers were cooked to order. I'll definitely come back."

"I've been eating at DeMores for decades now... and while a lot has changed over the years, one thing remains the same- they have the best lake perch in town! When I was a kid, I used to go there probably once every couple of months with my grandparents. At the time, it was more diner like, and pretty much had nothing but perch and walleye (I think they also had a few sandwiches for those weirdos that don't like perch). They had already been around for years, and were famous for their perch. It was perfect.They've changed hands a few times since then, and have become a far more upscale place... but the perch and walleye are still the best around.I highly recommend the perch sandwich. They have a few sizes depending on how hungry you are, my personal favorite is the "whaler", which has 1/2 lb of perch. You'd better be hungry for this one! The fries are delicious, but skip them and upgrade to the fried mushrooms- they are outstanding. Try them with the house sauce."

"This place is great! Good food, decent prices, and a nice vibe. And, while one bartender (Josh?) was amazing and going the extra mile to serve everyone, the other one resulted in the losing of a star. I've never seen someone look like they hate me for ordering a bottle of wine and asking for some time to look at the menu. When the wine finally arrived many minutes later, she didn't even bother to open it, just dropped it and two glasses in front of us and walked off. Thankfully Josh was nice enough to get a wine chiller out of their cooler so we weren't stuck with warm white wine. All that being said, I would def come back here when in the area so do stop in."

"Hofbrauhaus is a really neat place to meet up with friends and colleagues. It's setup of course like a German building so you can't miss it if you haven't been here before. Inside is all decorated with German motifs. The seating is communal but plenty of space between parties. The menu offers something for everyone. We started with the hot fresh huge pretzel and fondue like cheese. Cheese dip was creamy and went nicely. (1 is enough for the table if you're ordering dinner). We ordered the Cod and pierogis plate and our friend ordered the sausage plate. Portions were generous and pricing reasonable. However flavorful, we were disappointed with the potato pierogis as they were very tough, chewy and difficult to cut; almost hard when they should be soft. The apple strudel and Black Forest cake were excellent! We had a nice casual relaxing time. Server was very nice as was the hostess when we entered. Plenty of epicurean delights and craft beers to choose from! TAKE NOTE: There is no free public parking!! The lot across the street is $15 and HofbH valet is $20. Your best bet is to take Uber here."

"Decided to do a fun little day trip to Oberlin with my boyfriend. The town has a lot of quaint little stores, as well as beautiful areas around campus. Several store owners recommended that we eat here, so that's what we did. We were able to be seated right away which was nice. We both got burgers with fries for dinner, and they were excellent. FYI, this isn't the kind of place where they ask you how you want your burger cooked. They've already decided the best way for it to be served, and that's how they serve it. The fries were especially yummy! But the real star, in my opinion, was the spring roll appetizer. Hot, crunchy, delicious, just absolutely perfect!! I'd come back just for this appetizer! I would definitely recommend this restaurant!"

"Drove the family to Kent to pick up my daughter for family dinner night. We hadn't had a family night out in a while, so I decided to make the trip. Upon arrival, Ray's was packed, but we waited 15 minutes and were seated. Our waitress was fast and friendly.Our drink orders were taken and drinks were delivered quickly. For dinner, I went with something I've never had before at any restaurant - a meatloaf sammich. I also requested a 1/2 southwest salad. My son requested a pulled pork sammich and fries, my daughter requested chicken wings, and my wife, a cubano pita.We watched some NCAA tournament games while we waited for our food, which was delivered in a reasonable amount of time, considering how busy the restaurant was. My southwest salad was tasty. My meatloaf sammich was very good. It had a good flavor and texture, and was served on toasted bread. I'd order it again.We were pleased with our meal and it wasn't very expensive. Next time we're in the area, we'll stop by again. Oh, and it wasn't full of college kids, even though it's right next to Kent State. It was full of local patrons."

"The food was good that I genuinely forgot to take a picture for Yelp.My girlfriend knows that I love Indian so she said we should check out Tandul. It was a VERY GOOD decision. I'm not sure if it's because we visited on a Wednesday night but it was pretty empty inside. The only people dining were us and another party but that worked for me.I had the Saag Paneer with Garlic Naan and it was AMAZING! It's very seldom that I go somewhere and eat everything on my plate but this was one of those places. My girlfriend had the Paneer Tikka Masala, which was also good but not as good as the Saag. The only thing I'd change is that I wish it was spicier. The staff were sweet and accommodating. I'll absolutely be back."

"Whenever my coworkers and I need a place to eat after work, we always find ourselves at Gunselman's as they have some of the best burgers and fries around Cleveland!We all decided to create our own burgers this night - and they were all delicious. (I got bacon on mine so I think mine was the best!) The side of fries is always a good idea here - so crispy and perfectly salted, I could eat a whole bucket of these fries!! My other friend got mashed potatoes and she said they were equally as tasty! The workers here are also so lovely and helpful even when the restaurant is very packed!! If you're around Fairview Park and are in need of a good lunch, I definitely recommend stopping here and grabbing a bite to eat - you won't be disappointed!"

"A pizza spot. Trendy but very low key. I went with a friend and we got the Leonardo, a white pizza with pistachios and the classic margherita. The dough was so chewy and fresh. Is dough everything when it comes to pizza? We both had glasses of truffle hunter wine. Now I will be on the search to find that to have a bottle of it at home. I did start with the aqua Fresca with gin. It was a lemon basil, but there was no basil. So I was meh on that. But then I made the right choice, and switched to red wine with my pizza! We sat outside, it was perfect out, at a bench, dining hall sort of seating. The plants all around give the outside a sort of oasis vibe and I would recommend going out there if it's nice enough."

Park and take a walk.The interior is fun, lots of seating and a bar. Two of us got burgers and the third member got the chicken quesadilla. The burger was solid, no muss - no fuss. I would say the size is average - I wouldn't have been able to finish anything bigger, definitely disagree that it's "small." The quesadilla was delicious. We also grabbed a beer each and they were also solid.Our server was helpful and the girl manning the bar was happy to answer our questions and give suggestions. Sitting there and seeing the students made me feel nostalgic in a good way.Great place to check out!"

My son and I shared several things: a soup called Chicken mulligatawny; a vegetarian curry: corn palak, which was recommended to us; butter naan; and raitha, to cool the palate (even though we had ordered everything in the wimpy American mild version...hehe). That sweet angel, Roshini also came out with a strawberry lassi for my son while we waited. He loved it. What a kind gesture. Now, unless you KNOW where this place is, or just happen to be staying at the Radisson and stumble upon it, you likely would never find this little gem. It is clean, unassuming, and quiet. Nice calm zen ambiance if you are dining in. I saw this place in a Yelp list of top 25 Indian places to eat in the US. (You read that right!) So don't think twice: just go here and enjoy every morsel."

"Been meaning to get up to Pickle Bill's for the longest time, finally got there today. Cool ambiance right on the Grand River, you could eat outdoors or inside (we chose lt latter). Wife ordered blackened salmon, she was "thumbs up" on her dish. I was gonna order crab legs (AYCE special), but instead I ordered the "Sampler Platter' (walleye, Erie perch and shrimp, all fried). All pretty good, esp the perch. A tad greasy, but hey, it's a fried platter so...there's that. Also ordered some crab cakes on the side, quite scrumptious with generous portions of crab. Our server, OTOH? LOL, if I had a "football team of waitresses", this one would never see the field, never leave the bench. Pokey and inattentive, but we had time to spare so I wasnt fussin bout it. But still. Overall experience was positive enough that I'll be back to try some other menu items"

"The food was really good. I got the Zuppa Di Pesce with red sauce. It had mussels, clams, scallops, calimari, shrimp, and white fish. It was really good. You can get it with a white wine sauce as well. We also got breaded mozzarella and an olive andouille chorizo sausage appetizer. My only issue was that I wish they had rinsed the olives a little prior to adding them to my dinner. The olive brine over powered the flavor of the other foods when eating the olives. I love olives but these were a little too salty. The raspberry cheese cake dessert was fabulous. The decor and appearance of the restaurant was clean, modern, and cozy. Our sever, Mia, was friendly and did a great job. The prices were really reasonable for the portion sizes and food quality. I would definitely come back here for dinner."

"I've come back here a couple of times since my previous review, including a recent visit. Friends wanted to go out for a last minute dinner, and I wanted to be able to make a reservation. Crave Cantina had openings, and booking online was easy. I was a little surprised to see how empty the restaurant was on a Saturday night at 7 pm. The bar was totally empty and maybe half of the tables were occupied. One big difference I noticed was that the drink menu was significantly reduced and a lot less interesting. However, the margarita and sangria I had were both good. We started with a large order of chips, the salsa trio, and a plain guacamole. This was outstanding. Everything tasted so fresh, and I appreciated that the salsas actually tasted different (a red smooth salsa; a chunky, black bean salsa; and a salsa verde). I was feeling pretty basic and ordered a quesadilla with steak and a side of refried beans. The quesadilla was what I wanted, the steak was tender, and it had great flavor from the chimichurri marinade. The beans were not good. They were made with meat and there were tons of stringy pieces of beef. Dry and not creamy. The quesadilla was so filling, though, that I actually didn't care.My biggest complaint this time around isn't related to anything that happened during our meal. I find it kind of off-putting that the taco menu just . . . doesn't change. While I appreciate that now you can get burritos or the aforementioned quesadilla, I wish there were more appealing choices. I'm from Louisiana and I'm just never going to order an alligator taco. Some of the combinations (like that one) seem wacky for the sake of it, and I feel that choice--while trend driven for sure--is feeling a bit dated in 2023. I will say, though, that I appreciate the amount of veg and vegan options.This most recent meal was probably the best over-all experience I've had at the cantina. Service had been an issue here before, but our server was great. The right balance of attentive but not smothering us (we enjoyed appetizers and drinks before ordering). This isn't my favorite restaurant, but we had a great experience, and that merits a new, better rating."
