"Great lunch last week. We walked in and were able to seat ourselves. There was not much of a crowd. The service was good. They do have some cool decor which I will have to get pictures of next time. I had the bacon and swiss burger, fries, and q cup of chili. The chili was absolutely fantastic. It was hot and had just enough spiciness that it wasn't overbearing. The burger was delicious. It came with bacon and swiss cheese, go figure given the name. It also had lettuce tomato, onion, and pickle on it. The burger came out hot. The patty was a nice size. The lettuce and tomato tasted very fresh. In all it was a very good burger. The fries were fresh cut. I would have liked them a little crispier but they were very good. In all it was a great lunch and I would highly recommend."

"Upon walking into this place you kind of want to turn and leave because it is in dire need of an update and some good fixing up. I think the reason why I and my family stayed to try it out was because the smell upon entering took us all back to breakfast at our Grandma's. The waitresses were very friendly and quick on their feet. My group ordered an omelet, a breakfast sandwich that came on a pretzel bun, pancakes, and an egg/cheese croissant sandwich. Let me tell you, not one of us was disappointed in our food. The biscuits as well as everyone's side of home fries definitely took us back to when our grandma was around to cook for us. My advice would be, don't be scared off by the looks of the place. Definitely stop in and try it out."

I don't usually come here for dinner, however I do love their flight of beers for $6! You get three beers (I usually have all IPA's) and a night of fun with friends. When I was here last I had the cheese sticks, which surprised me that they were so thin but had that crunchy outside crust. Also I had the roast beef sandwich with 1,000 island dressing, and man did it fill me up. I usually finish all my fries but wasn't able to due to how stuffed I got. If you want to sit outside please note it is the smoking section so if you don't want smoke stay inside. Overall the staff was extremely friendly and I'll be sure to be back soon for another flight of beer!

The superb pork chop was excellent and is to die for. I highly recommend it since it was absolutely fabulous and perfectly prepared - so tender you could have cut it with a fork. It was doused with a bacon and bourbon glaze. Kudos compliments to the chef for a well seasoned and prepared pork chop.The relaxing environment was nicely appreciated. Stopped in for lunch. There were 3 in our party. Very nice decor. The service was very good and very pleasant. We got the Steak House Burger, Chicken Bacon Ranch Stromboli and Steak and Cheese Sandwich with Gouda Mac & Cheese. All were very good. Will stop back again.

I've now been here 2 times and I think the food is pretty darn good. The salad bar is nice and fresh. The hot buffet is also good but not very big. The fried chicken is delicious. It's juicy and flavorful. I also enjoy their stuffing and noodles. This visit they also had sauerkraut and sausages. I will never turn down sauerkraut. I like this Amish buffet because they also have a small dessert bar. Today they had pies, angel food cake, and a very good caramel roll. Their fresh baked bread is also so soft and pillowy. Service is excellent and friendly. The restaurant itself is clean and spacious. They also have a small gift area and bakery in addition to the restaurant.

"My wife and I needed a getaway! For a change we opted to sit at the bar. The bartender did not seem fully at ease, and I must say I never recalled anyone eating at the bar during our previous visits. That said, it was still a good overall experience! We started with adult beverages, a Manhattan for me and a Whisky Sour for my wife. Sitting at the bar, it's nice to watch the preparation. My wife really enjoyed her beverage and mine was pretty good. I only needed to remind the bartender to add bitters to my Manhattan. Unfortunately they did not have Angostura Bitters, only Orange. Oh well. We did not order any appetizers. My wife decided on their Chicken Strips with a Spinach Salad and Curled French Fries while I opted for their Fried Shrimp and Scallops, Rice Pilaf, and French Onion Soup. The soup was served along with my wife's salad. I thought the soup was very delicious! My wife's salad was fresh and the warm bacon dressing flavorful. Our main courses came out after we were finished with the firsts. My wife's chicken strips had a light cornmeal breading and the fries were really thick. My scallops and shrimp were fairly large with the same cornmeal breading. Very delicious! Overall a pretty good visit. We arrived about 1645 and departed about an hour later without seeing anyone else come in?"

"I didn't care too much for The Mill when Buehler's first came to town. Its service quality, food quality and selection has really bounced around. Years later, I think it has settled into a restaurant I see as a decent option in Ashland.While the food is pricier than it should be ($10+ per person for diner food), they have solid burgers, pretty good breakfast and definitely the best salad bar around. Their servers are all pleasant and typically remember you from visit to visit. Unfortunately, everything takes quite a while. They simply can't handle larger orders. When my family goes there (about 10-14 people), our food takes about an hour to come out of the kitchen. It's also not uncommon to stand at the podium for 5 minutes before you're even addressed."

"This place reminds me of those restaurants/bars that you would go to after your sporting events in grade school for a good meal. We ordered mostly appetizers to share for our meal. Here is what we ordered: Appetizers:- Reuben balls - these were tasty but kind of strange. We are excited to try other flavors too!- 12 Garlic Parmesan boneless wings - these were really good too in terms of flavor but were a bit dry. I wish they were a bit more saucy.Side dishes: Shoe string fries - Yum!!! These were delicious and definitely something I'll be ordering again. Next time I'll ask if they have vinegar to go with them. Waffle fries - my husband and stepsons really enjoyed the waffle fries. "We've been here in the past however they just moved into this new location so we decided to check it out with our group of about 10 after a volleyball game. Place is larger than their last spot. Service weas friendly and we were seated within minutes of getting there. We enjoyed cold beer while we perused the menu for apps and entree's. For apps, we decided on the fried cheese skewer and Bull chips. The fried cheese was delicious cubes of breaded cheese fried to a golden brown. The Bull chips are deep fried pepperoni slices served with ranch for dipping and let me tell ya, these things are addicting and simply tasty. For my entree', I decided on the Grizzly burger which is a 1/3rd pound burger topped with roasted peppers and baby portabella mushrooms smothered in cheese with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, and our garlic aioli. I must say that they do burgers right here. The burger was cooked to my preference of medium and with all the toppings, it made for a excellent burger. Everyone in our group had a nice experience and enjoyed their choices for meals and appetizers. Give them a visit if ever in the area."

The BBQ sauce itself is also great, and when you add the BBQ sauce onto the philly and the fries, it will have you hooked. The food from the pictures and reviews did not look great so we're not expecting much. It was below average, and definitely not worth the price. The best thing we had were the mashed potatoes, and we had ordered the lamb and steak. The service was slow, granted it was a busy Friday night, but could not even get our water refilled. We got our food before our drinks had even arrived. Overall atmosphere was pretty cool, and the selection of bourbon was great, but this place had a lot of kinks to work out.
