Uncorked Wine tasting
Uncorked Medina Wine Festival
End of day!
Not the main entry, too many people there so took a door that nobody was use ! Lol
This was the main ticket booth and information right to the main building! Where the expensive stuff is sold! Everything else outside!

Thanks to Yelp got tickets to the Uncorked Medina Wine Festival at the Buffalo Creek Resort. The venue is owned by Medina Metroparks and is nestled near the I-76 and I-77 interchange. Looking like something out of wine country the venue provides a nice setting for events. We entered through the main building which had vendors set up inside in a nice sized room. Behind this is a covered patio which overlooks the lawn area where they had the tastings set up with more vendors as well. The only downside was the traffic going by on I-76, but that was much less noticeable on the lawn which is a bit lower then the highway. The tasting was well run, volunteers did the tasting pours with people from the providers available for more information. Most of the providers were from Ohio, with several out of state providers as well. I ended up tasting several wines including a very nice Pinot from Cle Winery in Cleveland Heights. I also tried some hard cider and a mead, both of which were very good. I finished with trying several beers for a wide variety. The Uncorked event was very nice, well run and seemed to have a good turnout despite some weather issues. Buffalo Creek is a bit far from Cleveland but provided a very nice setting.

We attended a wedding here last weekend and the grounds were beautiful. The views, the pond, and the gorgeous arched entrance to the ceremony were all incredible. The reception facilities were also lovely. Ample dance floor and just overall space - indulging the deck and outdoor spaces. And it was especially neat how the bridal party all had rooms above the event to get ready and just hang out in if they needed a minute - that balcony area made for some super fun reception entrances down the big, grand staircase, too! This place was lovely and I would definitely recommend it to others.

This was a test to see if we would come tornados, bad storms or wait the next day for the 80% chance of rain! Well by 5:00 it turn nice at home so we hurry to get ready and drive there! The parking lot was full! We were told down the road two rights and a left! So we winged it! Found it a shuttle bus packed in about 40 people and about a 6 minutes ride to check in! We first we went through the building and saw lots of jewelry and other high price nicknacks. Then outside to go down a beautiful walkway to all the many tents and food trucks! We won the tickets to get in and 10 tickets to taste or drink wines or beers. One ticket to a third or so glass or four tickets for a full glass! There was a close tent to buy more tickets if you wanted more tastings or full glass as you desire! Food you pay what you order at the food trucks. People were nice and friendly! There was at least twenty different vineyards and cellars giving out taste samples or full grass depending on what you wanted!I highly recommend going there next year! We hope to go again! The samples we like we got their address and plan to visit for a tour or just hang out! The shuttle was a pleasant ride or get there early you be able to park in their main parking lot!

Wow! The Uncorked Medina Wine Festival was amazing. Breathtaking views, too many wine booths to count, and an overall wonderful time. Two suggestions:1. More food! I know that Sauced was a no show (super disappointing) however, the options there just didn't really appeal to me. 2. Seating. One reason why I didn't try to opt for anything was the fact there would have been nowhere to sit. Seating was limited and I would suggest more tables for a Saturday night. In general, I would absolutely go back to this event. The vendors would wonderful, the wine was great, and the views were stunning.
