Buehler's The Mill Restaurant

The buffet is our go to for Sunday morning brunch. Great staff, great food, great price

Buehler... Buehler... Anyone... Anyone here? Only 1 other table besides us for dinner. Salad bar was loaded. Some items good some looked to old to try. Good selection of toppings just no one there to eat them, guess we shoulda went with the early-bird crowd. Salmon was good, on the slim side. Server was attentive - that's what not saying much. They could use some specials / deals.

The restaurant appeared very clean although very stark and uninviting totally void of any artwork or wall decorations. The waitress was not very friendly and quite forgetful! I ordered the chipped beef over toast with soft poached eggs which tasted of raw flour and the toast was burnt! The eggs came out hard as a rock and I sent them back! My side of cottage cheese never arrived! Worst "breakfast" ever!!! Won't be back!

I didn't care too much for The Mill when Buehler's first came to town. Its service quality, food quality and selection has really bounced around. Years later, I think it has settled into a restaurant I see as a decent option in Ashland.While the food is pricier than it should be ($10+ per person for diner food), they have solid burgers, pretty good breakfast and definitely the best salad bar around. Their servers are all pleasant and typically remember you from visit to visit. Unfortunately, everything takes quite a while. They simply can't handle larger orders. When my family goes there (about 10-14 people), our food takes about an hour to come out of the kitchen. It's also not uncommon to stand at the podium for 5 minutes before you're even addressed.

Good breakfast buffet. Visiting the area and didn't realize that it was adjoining a grocery store but was pleasantly surprised by food quality. Friendly service as well.

The service was unreasonably slow. Only a handful of tables were in use when we arrived. They were not busy, yet it took 35 minutes for our entrees to arrive. Only 2 other parties, totaling 3 people, received food during that time. The gentleman at a nearby table actually fell asleep while waiting for his food!

We used to love going to Buehlers for breakfast but now you can only get the buffet where you have to take the lids off to get your food and the biscuits are always hard on the bottom. I don't care for the hours anymore either. That doesn't work for people who have to go to work every day. They also have seemed to lose some really good waitresses with the changes.

First time there and we were a group of 12. We arrived at 1:15 and you could tell they were unhappy to see us as they close at 2 pm. Then we had to ask if we could sit down. Alexa took us to our seats and proceeded to tell us that it was the owners fault our table had a little dirt on it because they had a meeting and didn't clean it. She never got a wash rag or attempt to clean it. She placed our table settings down on the dirty table. Also since our group was there so close to closing, we were only limited to 2 options on the menu- a grilled cheese sandwich or a chicken salad croissant plus a side. The salad bar was also available. Not a great impression for our group considering this is the first time for most of us. The food was okay for the selection. The Mac and Cheese was the best thing according to everyone after we ate. If back in the area would I go back, probably not and this is based primarily on their customer service. By not welcoming us, not cleaning off the table, and by limiting your menu when we were there 45 minutes before closing at 2pm- didn't sit well with me. I honestly think they were hoping we would leave and not stay and eat.

Sunday morning buffet is awesome. Great price and even better food. So much better than waiting for someone to serve you. $10 for all you can eat breakfast.
