Bruno's Pizzeria

Having driven past Bruno's Pizzeria dozens of times, I finally had an opportunity to stop for lunch and try them out. On entering the restaurant, the young man behind the counter looked genuinely surprised to have a customer walk in at 2pm on a Monday in December. When I asked if I could dine-in for lunch, he looked surprised again and invited me to select a table. I then advanced to the dining room and seeing only one other table occupied by patrons who were wrapping up, I selected a nice high table by the wall. A few minutes later, the same gentleman handed me a menu and asked what I wanted to drink. By the time he returned with my Pepsi, I had zeroed in on the fresh baked subs, so I asked which one he preferred. When he said the cheesesteak was his favourite, so I went with that one. Before tax and tip, my bill totaled $12.78, which felt pretty average.While I liked the classic Italian décor in the restaurant, the many televisions hanging from the various walls seemed out of place. Below the TVs, the restaurant gave a classical Italy vibe with tasteful pictures and wall hangings, but then you had a bunch of televisions showing Doctor Oz and other random talk shows. These all combined to give an odd sort of sports-bar-meets-nice-Italian-restaurant feel.After a pretty average wait (which actually felt kind of long since I was the only person in the place), my sub arrived. While the sandwich itself had a good flavour, it was not nearly as juicy as one might have expected for a cheesesteak. Likewise as David M noted below in his review, the bun was really dry. Add in the salty potato chips, and it made for a very thirsty meal. I was glad when the employee offered me a refill, and was maybe a little disappointment that he did not offer me another when he brought my bill.Overall I found Bruno's Pizzeria pretty average all across the board: taste, service, price, ambiance, etc. I had no issues during my visit, but likewise nothing really impressed me. As such, I rate Bruno's Pizzeria being Good, and would return.

Was sort of disappointed. Stopped here after a relaxing afternoon and the winery down the street. Sat outdoors which was nice. First red flag, (but not surprised) was the sign inside the door stating to be patient since they are short staffed. I get it. We were quickly seated by a waitress that appeared stressed and overwhelmed. Our order was placed also quick. Drinks came out good. Our pizza was cauliflower crust with 4 toppings. 1/2 mushroom. It came out with ALL mushrooms and the toppings were thinly placed. We also ordered salads that we had to ask for when our pizza came out. Salad was nothing special. They did offer to remake the pizza, but a couple large groups came it after us and we didn't want to wait. The food quality was just ok. Been to Marblehead usually 3-4 times a year and first time here. Not impressed so Not sure if I would come back.

Well it's off season and a Tuesday afternoon at about 3pm, we stopped for a late lunch, there was only one other table in use when we entered. The service was swift and good and the food was excellent! Would definitely stop again!

Took a trip up to the lighthouse and wanted something very simple and quick to eat. Decided to check out Bruno's pizzeria and it was a good time. I went with the chicken quesadilla and cheesy breadsticks and my wife had a CBR sub!

We recently ordered a medium half pep/ half sausage. They couldn't even get a one topping half and and half correct. No pepperoni on the pizza. We used to love this place and would make a special trip up to go to Marblehead Lighthouse and Bruno's. The pizza reminded me of the homemade pizza my family would make that everyone loved but even better. But the last several times the pizza and the crust was different. More like a "off the truck" crust instead of house made. The pizza has no body to it. The pieces fall apart and cheese slides off. And over priced for what it is. Like $14 for a one topping medium! Not sure if we'll go back.

I order a large Hawaiian pizza at 5:55 PM on 07-05-23 to be delivered. The guy taking my order said the delivery would be 25 to 30 minutes. 7 PM no pizza, called and was put on hold for 10 minutes no answer so I called again, another 10 minute wait. Finally a different guy answered and I said where my pizza. He said the guy that took my order told me the delivery was 45 minutes to an hour. I told him no the guy said 25 to 30 minutes. He apologized and said he would have a talk with him. Ask if I wanted a free 2 liter pop and I said yes. 7:35 PM still no pizza. So I called again only to wait for another 10 minutes. Finally got someone on the phone and told him still haven't go my pizza. He said the pizza was just leaving the building. I said to cancel my order as waiting over and hour and 35 minutes was long enough. He said ok, did not apologize and acted like it was no big deal. I will never order from them again. We stopped ordering from them 2 years ago because they did the same thing and would put the phone on hold so the didn't have to answer them. We started ordering from the a few months ago because they seemed like they clean up their act. Guess not. Will have to find a new place to order pizza as we are done with Bruno's at Lakeside Marblehead, OH.

Very enjoyable, will return if I get the chance.After a rough morning of car trouble, we needed food. We got a really good meal at Bruno's. It's not fancy, it's basic Italian and wings, but they do it well. Three of us had wings, and my wife (celiac) had the cauliflower pizza. All of it was really good. My Hot Garlic wings were great, man I loved those things. The mozzarella stick appetizer was good, the Greek salad was pretty good, lots of feta and olives. The wing prices were a bit high, but they were really good. Overall, it's a bit pricey for what you get, but we really enjoyed what we got and will return if we have the opportunity.

Nice fresh pizzas & salads in a casual atmosphere. Good friendly service & assortment of appetizers also. Can eat inside or out.

Ordered at 730 in evening, two hours later we went there to find out why it hadn't been delivered and were told they were busy and were just getting to our order. They obdiviosly font want $300 orders. I'll never patronize them again and would recommend not patronize them either. ​

An order for Pizzas was placed on 7/6/23 at 5:30 pm and was told it would be delivered by 6:30 and 7. The credit card was IMMEDIATELY charged for the full amount plus delivery charge and tip. An order was delivered at 7:30 and it was not our order! We notified Bruno's as soon as we discovered it was the wrong order. We were told our order was waiting for the delivery man at the restaurant and would be delivered immediately. It is now 8:45 and we still do not have our order. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM BRUNOS OR RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE. PATHETIC, HORRIBLE AND SHOULD NOT BE IN BUSINESS!
