Brown Sugar Thai Cuisine

Great cozy little place to sit and eat. Ive been coming here for years. The owners all the way down to the staff are very friendly and courteous. Always been provided quick and excellent service, with a smile!Although, the food is not authentic, it's good and it's consistent. There's something to be said about consistency these days.

I am a fan of Brown Sugar Thai. They have a large menu with lots of Thai traditional favorites to choose from including Pad Thai, Pad See Ew and a variety of curries. They also serve sushi made to order. I am a fan of their spicy tuna rolls. They have Thai coffee and tea as well as bubble tea to go with your meal. Finish off the meal with mango sticky rice. This is a great place for lunch or dinner. Parking is not too difficult with street parking and nearby pay lots. If you are in Lakewood and craving Thai cuisine or sushi, check out Brown Sugar Thai. You won't regret it.

I ordered from here for the first time via UberEats. An hour and five minutes after I ordered, the driver was still sitting outside the restaurant, so I called the restaurant. The person who answered the phone said they'd gotten a bunch of sushi orders at once, and mine would be done in a couple minutes. It was another 15-20 minutes before my driver had the food and was on his way.If it's going to take almost an hour and a half to make someone's order, you have to communicate with them somehow to ask them if they want to wait that long, order something else, or cancel the order. We can't let the middleman of these apps eliminate all customer service.

Before trying Brown Sugar, I've been very disappointed with my Thai experiences in the CLE area since moving here almost two years ago. So glad we decided to order from somewhere different tonight and give Brown Sugar a chance! Ordering from DoorDash, we decided to order some of the most popular (and our favorite) dishes Pad Thai, Drunken Noodles, and Siam Rolls. Every single bite was absolutely delicious! I'll be honest and say that when I first opened the containers, I thought they just looked OK but they were all awesome. The Pad Thai has the perfect balanced flavor of acidic and sweet and the tofu was cooked great. The drunken Noodles were just the perfect amount of spicy and the noodles were weirdly textured just like they should be! The rolls were a nice little appetizer too and I would 100% order all of these items again. I'm pumped to try a curry dish and some Thai tea too next time!

Doesn't look like much when you walk by, but I was in the mood to eat some Thai food and a co-worker recommended I try Brown Sugar Thai Cuisine. I ordered online and was able to pick up my order almost instantly. The staff were very helpful with making be decide how spicy I wanted my pad Thai and which appetizer I should have gotten.I went with chicken pot stickers as an appetizer with the chicken pad Thai with level 3/5 heat. The pot stickers were really tender and full of flavor. A total of (4) pot stickers came with the order. I was so hungry that I didn't even bother opening the dipping sauce. The pad Thai at level 3 heat was a little spicy for me but it was so good I couldn't stop eating it. By the time I finished my meal my mouth was on fire. The staff was friendly and I barely waited for my meal. This is a great place to check out if you want some Thai food.

Very disappointing. Tom yum noodle soup. $12.95. Container with noodles on top of a bed of brown slimy iceberg lettuce. Bean sprouts were slimy and brown. 2 pieces of shrimp.Seafood madness... 3 small thin scallops, rubbery, tough to chew squid and 2 shrimp. Sauce was good. Not worth the $17.95Salmon sushi ... the smallest sushi I've ever seen. Salmon was supposed to be uncooked.. it was old. The salmon was brown and smelled bad.

Walked in to find the most gorgeous dining room all boarded up. They only do takeout since COVID said the lady behind the register. I asked for the shrimp Tom Yum to be Chiang Mai spicy and it didn't disappoint but the soup base tasted like it came from an MSG cake. She was nice enough to give me fish sauce on the side. I also got the wonton (chicken) soup and the base was yummy but the meat was minimal in some very silky wontons.

ordered the tom yum noodle soup for $18.95 and received a tiny container of the broth. not even enough to cover half the noodles. ridiculous for this price. called the store and was told no, nothing was forgotten this is all you get. "just pour the broth on the noodles".unacceptable. never ever again.

The pad Thai is great. The service is always good. It's a takeout place once but other than that it's good.

Well my girlfriend and I Uber eats this restaurant sometimes because it usually has a pretty good and cheap pad Thai but I was kinda disappointed this time. We ordered the chicken pad Thai (I know we're thrill seekers) and it was just lacking the flavor and even sauces that it usually does today was dry noods and no spice at all, didn't even seem like they tried and I'm a child when it comes to spicy things g we also ordered the summer rolls (spring rolls) and each roll (only 2) were kinda small and only had 1 piece of shrimp. IM A BIG BOY AND I EAT ALOT. I'm not sure about this time but I'll need a break from this place to mentally recover from being screwed over.
