Brimfield Family Restaurant

In all: service was excellent, food was quite good, and the restaurant was dirty. We walked in and noticed immediately that not only was the carpet stained, but it had not been recently swept or vacuumed. The sign said to seat yourself, so we did. We picked a booth that didn't have food debris or ice cubes scattered around it. The table hadn't been wiped off yet. The main thing going on at this restaurant seemed to be something called a "Queen of Hearts Tournament". It's a gambling / raffle type which looks like it has weekly drawings. An area of the restaurant as well as one of the large TVs was dedicated to promoting the heck out of that. The overall vibe was not of a restaurant, but of a gaming house where you might be able to get a meal. The food was good-- broiled fish that my mother had was perfect and sides were quite good. The gravy on my "Brimtucky Platter" was horrible and the mashed potatoes weren't that good. The service was very friendly, and the pies for dessert were delicious. I'll give them another try, but they need to buy a vacuum cleaner and use it.

Best All-You-Can-Eat Friday fish...Broiled or Fried....Both were excellent! Loaded baked potato and side salad....Very good! Service was friendly, these girls were on it!Definitely will be back!

Breakfast is okay but I find the lunch and dinner uninspiring. Service is good and the staff is friendly. Interiors is clean and the inside has recently been updated

The food is great. The service was great yeah I'll is very good. Lots of tables wheelchair accessible easy park in the front walk right in the door. Waitresses are quick to take your order.

This place has always had fresh food and good old fashioned customer service. Sometimes you wait a bit longer, but this isn't fast food. It's cooked to order. Be prepared to sit back, relax, and enjoy great food. Always reliable. Gets a bit busy during peak times, however, it's worth the wait. Put this on your restaurant list for your next visit. My favorite meal is always breakfast, and they do it right! Thank you!

Over numerous recent visits this has become my favorite breakfast spot. I drive from 30; minutes north. I always order a cheese omelette, side potatoes crisp, side bacon crisp, white toast well toasted. Above avg diner coffee (salt in the grinds). Wait staff very efficient, just one visit I heard too much banter between them and waited too long for beverages. Fluffy omelette every time. I tested ordering bacon cheese omelette and they did it well not a pound of bacon taking over. Seat yourself. Never a wait for me but always bustling. Dine solo to write and the white noise is next level with the TVs and families.

After checking reviews decided to take a friend to all you can eat fish dinner .We arrived at 5:30 it took the waitress 20 min before she came to our table . We ordered the all you can eat fish , not impressed it was dry and cold . Thinking maybe a reorder would be better to learn they were out of fish . Waitress was asked repeatedly for our beverage which we did not receive until our meal was complete . Very disappointed for the price we paid the service was terrible and the food not at all what I expected according to the reviews on line . I would not recommend and will not be returning. 7:15 We left the restaurant

If you like hospital food your great grandma made when she worked in the cafeteria then you'll think the Brimfield Family Restaurant is good eating. Absolutely dreadful, subpar hash house food, and they charged my husband extra for rye toast with his breakfast!

Great burgers and fries. Clean, friendly service. Slow. Go somewhere else if you want a salad other than the standard salad mix with questionable edges. This is a meat and potatoes place to eat.

omelette was so greasy that I sopped the grease off my plate with a napkin. I should not have eaten it. but it was on the pricey side so I ate half of it. to be honest, it made me throw up when I left. Was our first time there and our last.
