I am long overdue on posting this. We went to and event at Brighten a while back, and I have to say I was extremely pleased. The service was good, the beer was great, and the staff was awesome! They have games to play sitting around, which passed the time well. We were able to secure a tour of the back, and were able to taste some of the beer still in the tanks, which, it was an event, not sure you can just do that, but it was a nice touch! The food was served catered style, but was pretty great! It's been a while ago, so I don't remember specifically if they called them Rueben Balls or Sauerkraut Balls, but they were soo soo good. I also remember having really good meatballs! And the beer, as I mentioned was awesome! The brewer let us taste a smoked beer that was pretty good, their IPA's were delicious (Citra Slice was the best imo), their Stout, Doom was delicious and dark and complex, and I really liked the Ric, which is a lager. Awesome place, awesome food, awesome beer, awesome staff! Highly, highly recommend checking it out!

Fun place to chill for a while and enjoy some refreshing brews! Many choices of craft brew, made in house, for one to try. Highly recommend a flight so you can try 4. A smoked beer is offered. Very good! Unique flavor profile. Staff is very helpful, friendly and can answer questions. They use chalk to write the numbers on the flight board of which brews one orders for the flight. This is good because I never remember what I order for flights of anything. Very spacious here! Great for groups too. Plenty of tables to sit at. There's a tv, pool table and board games available for guests to play. You need to stop by here if you are going through Copley.

We love Brighten Brew and have grown to love a pizza / beer tradition with the shop next door coming several times a month. Tonight; we tried Brightens new food menu and it was a huge miss for us. Very limited and in my opinion overpriced. Our pretzels ($9.50) consisted of 4 small pretzel sticks that were cold on the inside. Especially saddened to hear we can no longer bring outside food in, which will certainly impact our frequency of visiting.

So we got a couple flights and enjoyed all the beers we tried. My personal favorites were the duke which is a smoked dark beer and the GTB, green tea beer. We also got some pretzels that were great. I had one of the best French dip sandwiches. I'm a big fan of French dips and this one did not disappoint. There was a good amount of meat, it wasn't over cooked and not a bunch of fatty meat.We will definitely be adding Brighten to our go to list of breweries.

Honestly a 3 is generous for this place for an Ohio Brewery. The food was pretty not great. We got the nachos & a sandwich - both were disappointing. The beers are okay. Im a wheat, lager, & stout girl, my fiance is a sour & ipa man so we balance each other out. The beers were okay - not really that impressed. The stout I got was pretty basic - not a lot of layers or complex flavors just "stout" flavored. The wheat beer was my favorite but nowhere near great. The service was great & the staff was friendly. People must love it because it was busy.

Why don't you guys support the artists who show their work in your space? Seems silly not to give some advertising to them. Just a thought.

First time here. Beers seem very good for a new brewery. Friendly staff. They need to dim the lights a bit. Nachos could get an overhaul. But, give them a try.

The space is quite large with the seating in the front and the brewed beer in the back. They have a few tvs but do not play the sound during games. The beers were good and they offer a seltzer option in which you can pick a syrup flavor to be added at no additional cost. This brewery is a great addition to the area.

Little hidden gem we stumbled on while in the area. We popped in for lunch one Saturday; the beers were solid and food was surprisingly really good, way more than we expected from a little brewery.Love the small town local feel, stomachs and wallets were both satisfied. Would recommend, we plan on driving the extra few minutes from the overly commercialized fairlawn strip to this little oasis.
