A newly opened, Black owned business! The food here is very reasonably priced! Probably some of the best prices for a restaurant around town. The portions are good compared to the price as well. It has an old school feeling to the inside of the restaurant, with a bunch of families inside on my first visit. The food is great! They serve breakfast all day and I am a big fan of breakfast. The potatoes were really good and I didn't have the toast also in the picture but all breakfast combos come with toast! I would highly recommend people to stop by and check them out!

Everything was bad, it used to be steves which was great, Steve and his wife ran the place and the Greek American menu was awesome, but when it became Bri's it went bad, the fire dept closed them down for some reason, I hope whoever takes it over brings back the American greek menu the neighborhood wants steves back, its walking distance, no parking, unless you park on the main street or side street, we went there last march in 2024, only that one time

So as a follow-up to my last review I decided I was going to give this restaurant one more shot everybody makes mistakes. Not only was the food as delicious as usual the sincerity in the apology I received for the way I was treated resonated with My soul and made me once again trust, believe in and patronize this business.

Visited on a weekday about 11am, had a booth for three. The place was empty. I was a patron of the previous (Steve's Family Restaurant) for many years and have been waiting in anticipation for the new Bri's Bistro to open. I tried going twice but even tho it was supposed to be open it was closed, not sure why but I finally did get to try it. The menu was small, basic all day breakfast and lunch. The prices were comparable for similar places in the neighborhood. Our table had a cheeseburger/ff and two breakfasts. The bill was $40, including 2 teas and a soda. The wait for the food was too long especially since we were the only table seated. The breakfasts were semi cold, I seen them sitting under the heat lamp while the cheeseburger was still cooking. The food was ok, we hoped it would've been better. I know they are new and I think maybe that was why the timing/temp was off. The scrambled eggs were very over cooked. The waitress (maybe the owner) was nice and gracious, but her daughter? tagged along her side the whole time. The little girl was sweet but I didn't think it was a professional look. There was also a gentleman sitting/lounging in a booth and then at the counter with his shoes off, the entire time we were. He seemed to not be a customer but a worker on break or a friend. Again, this didn't make a great first impression. I will give them another try because I'm in the neighborhood and want to support them. I hope and can re-review them soon!

Chef Dee gave us and our 3 grandkids great service and food. My granddaughter kept saying it was the best food she had ever had. My grandson had pancakes and asked another which Dee promptly cooked and brought out. Kids had Mini Pancake, scrambled eggs with cheese, bacon and sausage. My wife had the French Toast special and I had Chicken wings and waffles. All wonderful. I would recommend you try is out. It is on Broadview Rd. in Brooklyn.
