Bratenahl Place Bistro

From the department of "things you wouldn't necessarily expect" comes this restaurant tucked into a corner of One Bratenahl Place, a prestigious condo building in a prestigious part of Cleveland and a favorite place for some of the monied crowd to downsize and retire.The Bistro doesn't look fancy, but it delivers on an interesting and varied menu (from pizzas to osso bucco), nightly specials, an interesting selection of wines...and most of all, fabulous service. We've only ever dined on the less casual bar side, where the team have taken time to know us, and where the traffic of regulars makes for a fun environment to go with the surprisingly good food.

We stopped here before going to the Van Gogh Exhibit. It's kind of off the beaten path, and kind of old school. When we went, we were literally the only people there. I'm not sure if that is typical, but we got extra attentive service because of it. While a little different than my typical stop, the food was really good I'd be willing to check it out again -- it looked like they had a pretty amazing patio!

Awsome meal! A must if your on the east side of Cleveland. Super staff super accommodating.

This is a new restaurant in the space that was formerly Americano. The new owner Gino and his wife are very attentive and welcoming. One welcome change is that this place now serves pizza every day, small and large sizes, both for here and to go. It's a great addition to Bratenahl.Overall they do serve excellent food. The salads are large and always fresh. The prime rib dinner is a large serving size and a great weekly special. It was incredibly tender and full of flavor, and the mashed potatoes were perfect. The gnocchi is awesome! Service is great.My only complaint is that the bar (while aesthetically improved) is not what it used to be, meaning the alcohol selection is smaller, both beer and liquor. They are missing things like any kind of bitters selection for mixed drinks that you would find in other bars of this caliber and genre, which severely limits their mixed drink classics. In place of these classic items they have disappointingly added some lower quality drinks like 99 Bananas to the menu. Gino if you are reading this please visit the bar at Greenhouse Tavern, Flying Fig, The Fairmount, Velvet Tango Room, Edwin's to get an idea of the quality/ingredients served in the drinks at these Cleveland bars. Bratenahl Place Bistro bar should be right up there with these guys, just like your food already is.

If I am on the west side of Cleveland I will make a special trip here and eat outside on the narrow patio that's in a peaceful setting. I asked our lovely server what did she eat most often? CHICKEN PICATTA. OMG! Perfect. My friend is gluten-free so she had salmon and salad. Located by the lake, without views of the lake, but a lovely place indeed. Only open for dinner, closed Sundays.

This is a hidden little gem located inside of One Bratenahl Place! The bar is such a fun place to hangout and enjoy the most delicious libations Happy Hour is awesome! The bartenders are engaging and very inviting! The food is delicious!! Gino and Ana really run this place like a home away from home!! The customer service is perfection!!

My wife and I had the extreme pleasure of dining at Arancini Bistro during our holiday visit to Cleveland. The meal was, to say the least, exquisite. From appetizers to salads to the main course (my wife had the Salmon, I had the Marlin), everything was superb, including the attentive service of our waiter, David. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is interested in fine dining in a warm and lovely decor. We went to the Bistro to celebrate my birthday with my family. Gino helped us to choose the menu for all. Pizza as appetizer, chicken Marsala brócoli and paella. We also had a bottle of champagne. The food was amazing. All my family loved it. it was a very memorable birthday. Thank you Gino !!The service was great and the restaurant is very elegant.

Had dinner outside on the patio on a beautiful September evening. Enjoyed the flat bread pizza special and my friends had burgers. Good service and great ambiance.

Local gem, service is outstanding, the food excellent. We visit repeatedly, and have never had a subpar experience.
