Kosher deli packed to the gills with Jewish foods from candy and fresh lamb, beef, and turkey to deli meats from tongue to pastrami and more. Very friendly employees. Boris himself sliced up my beef tongue! I wouldn't shop here regularly because everything is much more expensive due to it being kosher. Cleanliness is a bit questionable- deli meat case was not exactly gleaming clean and there were several expired meat items on the shelves leftover from Passover.

Boris's Kosher Meats is a great local butcher shop with a great selection of kosher meats and a kosher grocery selection. Our family has patronized them for years. It's always been a stop for us before holidays. An added bonus is that it's located across from a few kosher restaurants. I'm a huge fan of meat, and I especially enjoy Boris's sausage. They often have some unique sausage to "spice things up." While all the meat is high quality, I especially enjoy Boris's sausage. The taste is great, and it's reasonably priced for what it is. Recently we had several guests and were able to keep everyone filled with Boris's sausages. Highly recommended!

I came from Huntington Beach, CA to go to a funeral and I was super nervous about keeping kosher away from home without my husband. As soon as I got off the flight, my mom took me grocery shopping and the first store we went to said everything in the store wasn't kosher (I was already nervous!) I called Boris's kosher meats and Mendy answered the phone, I asked him for his kosher certification (it's something that is specific to the region, I was a little nervous still but I said I'm glatt kosher and he said their store is glatt kosher and so is everything in it). I came to the store, he and Boris were very nice and helpful. When I got to my moms and cooked up some of their foods, high level Boris! I was able to keep kosher in a non kosher kitchen (very carefully- with an electric skillet i brought from home) and have good food.

I highly recommend the lamb sausage. I really like the spicy, but wife and kids prefer the normal. I also really like the beef kreplach which is a meet in a pastry. We fry them at home in olive oil and they are great. They also have a nice selection of Israeli wines, chocolates, cookies. The spicy salami is also very good. Great family owned place.

Just tried the chicken sausage. Meh. Smelled too garlicky, not sure I'll like the turkey sausage much better. I will hold out for the knockwursts...I'm hoping those will be ok.Not so sure now that I will be back the next time we pass through Cleveland.
