Bonnie's Bar and Grill

Meh. Service and food was just ok. Ordered fried fish and was not enjoyjng it. Companions orders were just ok as well. The reason for 4 stars is that Bonnie's is usually a 5 star experience for us. One of the few places where we can confidently take guests and have great food with friendly service. Based on this last experience I am uncertain what we will get and may go to another stand by establishment for the consistency. Will we back to try again.

The service was really good! The food was sub par. We ordered a basket of fresh cut fries and it was like a side portion you would get with a sandwich. The Ruben was stacked, but very very dry. Not a place I would return to next time I'm in town.

I wanted to love this place! Always a lively nice patio, but the food was mid, service was friendly but mid. Varied menu, cheap drinks so if you're looking for a beer, then sure come here, Got a welcome coupon in the mail for a free entree, ordered an entree and it was NOT free. Patio and lot expansion are great, but staff turnover is not. Portions are MUCH smaller (club is literally half the size).Menu is dated. Other joints in Fairview offer much more value and refreshed menus.Hopefully, things change as it's a nice place to chill, but it's frustrating to see service decline and pay more.

I've been going to Bonnie's for well over 5 years now and I've never been disappointed. I used to eat here on a weekly/Bo-weekly basis when I lived at the Kensington Court Apartments. I love that the kitchen is open til 2am, or it used to be before I moved. I've ordered a wide range of items off the menu over the years. On this day in particular, my fiancé and I both decided to go with wraps. I can't remember what Andrew picked, but I chose the Southwest Wrap. I remember Andrew telling me after we left that he understood why I went there so much. Service is always pretty fast, even with the constantly packed house they always seem to have.

Bonnie's is at the corner of my street and ive been there several times. It's nothing more than a corner bar with average food at a decent price. Service is usually ok and never great. I've seen the guy that owns the place act inappropriately to the staff and customers more than once. If it wasn't less than a 5 minute walk I'd never go there.

I like going to this place, they are always open and the kitchen is always open. The three starts is really for the food. How many times am i going to get burnt dried out potato skins. You can count on the potato skins being burnt and dried out later at night. Maybe they sit on a hot plate all night. I order the Cuban a-lot but I know going in the pork may be dried out, and it may not taste so fresh. If you are hungry late at night sometimes you have to settle for not so great food.

The server was very sweet and efficient but the food was disgusting. My salad was mostly slimy , wilted lettuce . The other diners I was with ordered hot sandwiches and the meat was cold and not reheated properly ( must have been pre cooked and just not heated correctly).They also had pre portioned dairy products sitting out at room temperature close to a heat lamp as we passed the kitchen.

Prompt service and abundant plates of entrees (fish fry and perogis) very pleasant server. Definitely will be back

A just read an article on how the owner Jim treats and speaks to his waitstaff. It is completely unnecessary disrespectful and rude. I will never go back there. Jim you're not that special or important to ever think you have the right to speak to anyone like that. You're not Wolfgang Puck, you're a small business owner in Cleveland Ohio dude. Chill out an and be a better person.
