Stumbled upon Bluefin Hibachi and Sushi on UberEats tonight as I wanted to try a new sushi place. I'm usually kind of skeptical about restaurants that serve both sushi and hibachi or chinese or something, but I decided to give it a try and have it delivered. My entire meal was very good. I got the lava drop app. It was kind of like crab rangoon, except only battered and not in a wonton, so less crispy. They were super tasty and still good even without being fresh out of the fryer as it was delivery. I really liked the sweet soy sauce on top. I also got a seaweed salad, which tasted really fresh and was reasonably priced at $7. I got two rolls, one basic Philadelphia roll and then the Cleveland roll. This specialty roll had deep-fried shrimp tempura, spicy tuna, avocado, and cream cheese inside and was topped with spicy mayo, eel sauce, masago, and scallion. I don't usually go for shrimp tempura, but this combo semed interesting. The roll was very tasty and a good size. The shrimp was cooked really well. I would definitely return to Bluefin either via delivery or in-person. They have a ton of speciality rolls with combinations that are outside of the ordinary that I think would be fun to try. My meal felt kind of expensive at $50 for 4 items, but I have to take into account the fact that there were delivery fees and that I don't usually get specialty rolls and those are more expensive. Daughters birthday. Party of 5. Greeted and sat right away. The girl was very friendly, took our drink orders and brought them fairly quick. Another gentleman then came over to take our order. Ordered apps first while we decided on dinner. They were out surprisingly quick. And good!We each ordered a Sushi Roll. We nibbled and talked. They refilled waters and all was well. Our sushi came out. First two rolls. And the two more a couple minutes later. We were short one roll. The waiter told her it would be right out. Twice. Then bother for about 15 minutes until I mentioned something to the greeter. Then 5 minutes later, after most of the other sushi was eaten, the final roll came out. No apologies. No statement. Nothing. First, food was good. Second, most of the service was good. Most importantly the way the missing sushi was handled was disappointing.

This place is a golden egg of mentor! Food and service is fantastic! They are on their A game! My favorites are the vegetable tempura! Big pieces of vegetables battered and fried perfectly ( sweet potato, zucchini, broccoli, onion, mushroom). The Hawaiian roll is amazing! So much flavor and sweetness from the pineapple and Hawaiian sauce. Every time I try to use the chopsticks but I still don't know how to use them haha.Salmon hibachi- so much food and the salmon cooked perfectly! Hibachi meals come with house clear soup, salad with an awesome house dressing and fried rice or noodles and mixed vegetables. I assure you, you will never leave here hungry! Parents got the chicken and shrimp hibachi meal and the fillet mignon/ scallops hibachi. Both were very happy and full!Prices can be a little high but you get what you pay for. All food prices today are unfortunately high. Could be a lot worse. Everything you purchase is worth every penny. Trust that.Service is so fast and polite. The penny that work here truly care about what they do. Nicest people! Support this establishment. They deserve it. Thank you so much for making my dinner with my parents an amazing one as always. Mentor is lucky to have Bluefin to add to the sushi line up! For a small suburb in Northeast Ohio, we have at least 4 solid sushi spots which is pretty fantastic! I like the lunch option here best (mostly because when I go, I have a child dining with me). The servers are friendly and the orders come out quickly from the kitchen. All the standard options are here and if you look at the menu, they have more of the speciality rolls than the other sushi spots I frequent. I'm not usually into those as much as some more traditional options but they are very good! I don't frequent as much as I should since I'm not traveling along 20 in that section. Value and variety are the top two things that come to mind. It's ambiance is nice and as you'd expect.

Decided to check this place out on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. To begin the service was good. Many members of the staff checked on us throughout our visit. The dining area had traditional restaurant booths (no flat top) so immediately it was understood that there wouldn't be a show. Unfortunately, the booths are a little tight. I'm not a big guy but you can definitely tell the booths are arranged in a way to maximize occupancy. As for the food, it was pretty good. Typical hibachi food with a huge sushi selection. I ordered the combination steak and shrimp. My biggest caveat that prevented this place from getting 5 stars was that the prices were on par with traditional hibachi restaurants but lacked the show, and the portion size. Again, I'm not a huge guy and I don't typically get in the clean plate club at hibachi restaurants; however, I did at Bluefin. For the price, the portion size is extremely underwhelming. Considering that you pay the same as a traditional hibachi restaurant without the show or the portion size, there's other restaurants I'd consider visiting first.
