Just ordered a BLT panini. It was delicious! Tasty sauce added to the great flavors. BB is under new management and I'm happy they're doing well and will definitely be back for a salad and a smoothie.

Small, but excellent healthy option near the Lakeside dock. The owner is extremely friendly and the food is delicious and fresh. Highly recommend anyone interested in a healthy alternative to check this place out!

You won't find friendlier owners anywhere in Lakeside. It is also so heartwarming that they involve their entire family in the business. The children are growing up learning hard work is good - and making healthy food that tastes great is fun. This business replaced an old hot dog stand - and while I am sure some miss it -most prefer the healthy options of Bluebird. Every item I have ever have has been delicious, all homemade on the spot. The paninis are amazing, as are the smoothies. It is so nice to be able to have a salad and sit outside and eat it by the lake. The decor is very pleasing -and cute kids things to play and read while you wait for your food. The service can be slow -but since we are all on vacation - it isn't a big deal. I also realize how the staffing shortages have affected Lakeside. These owners are usually there working - and I am sure it is because they didn't have help that day. But instead of closing early - they are down there 24/7 if they have to be. Love this place, and never miss a day of going there when in Lakeside.

This was our first time at Lakeside and we happened to come by Bluebird. It was so incredible we came back a second time during our stay. All the food we tried was delicious and homemade and made me feel good about what I was eating! Absolutely loved the Rockin Robin salad! And those dressings were incredible. There is no indoor seating but if it's nice outside there are tables and umbrellas!

Such a welcome addition to the Lakeside Chautauqua food establishments. The Linvilles did a great job of transforming the appearance of the old Dock Shop space into a visually appealing eatery. The healthy options are freshly prepared, delicious and a much needed alternative to other Lakeside eateries. The staff are friendly and upbeat.

the food at bluebird is really good, but they're always out of ingredients. i feel like everytime i come in they're out of so much, theyre understaffed, and it takes way too long to get all your food. i think they need to think of a better system of getting food out faster because getting two paninis always takes like 10-15 minutes. when they do have ingredients and you get your food, it's very good.

I was a little nervous coming to Lakeside being gluten free. I saw on a review that Blue Bird had gluten free sandwhiches so ordered lunch there and it was delicious! I ended up going both lunches I was in time! Their seating area is outside and overlooks the lake which is a beautiful view! They had a good variety of sandwhiched and salads I could eat. I was very pleasantly surprised

This restaurant featured a variety of healthier options: smoothies, sandwiches, veggies, gluten free. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The view from the patio was beautiful and we enjoyed dining outside looking at the lake.

Great healthy little LKSD spot! Carryout and outdoor dining by the Great Lake as before.

Food was fresh and tasty. The Hammy panini has pears, Dijon mustard, Gouda cheese & has & was really good. Kids boxes include fresh fruit & veggies & sandwiches come in fun shapes. Can sit on the patio overlooking Lake Erie. Good value for the money.
