Blue Sky Restaurant

I always have went to the blue sky in Amherst when we live in lorain. I am just an old fashioned girl who loves good home cooked meals and that's how I feel about the food at blue sky. Thank you for your wondered and service it is much appreciated!

Blue sky is a hometown favorite! They have two locations, but this is the one I've been to more often. I have been coming here since I think I was in middle school.I do believe this is a breakfast all day type of place, but I cannot remember off the top of my head. I have been here plenty of times for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. My favorite breakfast to get is the meat lovers skillet, which is sausage, ham, bacon, cheese, potatoes, and two eggs your way. I actually get three eggs personally and I get them sunny side up. It's the perfect combo. I believe it's also comes the toast. They have typical diner coffee nothing spectacular. They have so many homestyle meals to choose from. My go to for dinner when I come. Here is their chicken Parmesan. It comes with a cup of soup and a side it is so much food for a great price. They also have a cake display with all of the different kinds of cakes and cheesecakes. They have for sale by the slice. I always try to get a piece of cheesecake when I go or take home with me. They also have soup of the day, vegetable of the day, and daily dinner specials.Overall, their prices here are very affordable. This is your typical hometown diner, so don't expect anything else when it comes to decor. There are just typical booths and tables that you would find at a diner. I almost always have great service when I come here - there are many people I know come here on a regular basis.

Solid diner with truly great service and great food! Came here with a larger group for late breakfast / early lunch, and though a sign said they were short staffed, didn't once feel as though we weren't taken care of. The server was stellar! They even made a special coffee drink for everyone who wanted a fun iced coffee experience! I went with the farmers omelette and chose cottage cheese instead of potatoes, and it was a good substitution. Farmers omelette with added cheese was the move, and was a delicious breakfast. The snickers cheesecake we got on the way out was OUTSTANDING. It was silky, chocolatey, and peanut buttery with some caramel flavors really combining for a whole snickers experience. Delicious diner at a good price with great service!

Always good food & great service since we started coming here when it opened in Elyria! We will keep coming too!

Blue Sky is an absolute classic if you're looking for a local place with no frills or pretention and a huge menu of diner fare. The space is clean, there is a lot of seating to get you in quickly, and the service is fast and friendly. I love coming here for a quick breakfast or lunch with family - usually an omelette or club sandwich. Chef's kiss.

Solid reliable diner breakfast right off the highway. Pleasant service and great food year after year when we visit the area.

I was skeptical going in. Place didn't look very fancy but my friend likes the 'family restaurant' vibe. I was also skeptical when I saw how huge the menu was. How could the kitchen deliver quality with so many options?As it turned out, we were really impressed with the food and our server went above and beyond for us on a busy Friday night. She checked on us several times and kept the drink refills coming!Get the pie!!!!

For a place that claimed to be classy made me regret not going to Hazel's . The perch was absolutely tasteless. One chance a year to get perch and disappointed.

Not the best French onion soup. Too salty and way too much cheese. Waitress sounded stuff down on table and had no personality.

this place is so bad and there racist they have horrible customer service. they failed to seat us and completely ignored us because of the pigment of our skin. the manger told us to leave cause of our skin
