Fantastic little brewery! Sampled 4 of their beers and all of them were fantastic! Also had a great guitarist for live music! Service from the two ladies behind the bar was friendly and fast! This place has the occasional food truck or pop-up, but doesn't offer its own food though you are allowed to bring food in! I would suggest to the owner that a small investment in a kitchen to offer bar fare would probably be a great idea!

Nice place with good vibes. We were very impressed that while we were there, it got twice as crowded with no interruption in service. We had the lager and chocolate milk stout. Both were really flavorful and enjoyable. The crowd was also really amenable, diverse, and cool. We just had a really fun time. Recommend.

What can be said about our Monkey Crew! This one is the hardest to have to say, "It's not goodbye, it's just see you later." This crew has stood strong through opening two weeks before lock downs to celebrating their first "official" birthday this year. The math maths guys, they opened on Leap Day 2020! Here's the type of people the Monkey Crew is. I had to travel for work at the end of 2023. It was probably a solid 3 months that my wife and I hadn't been able to stop in. Our first time back, Jen and Diane were so excited, they about to threw a party from seeing us again! Some people may think that's just good service. My wife and I believe that is a sign of a local, family place, that cares about their customers. It's Cheers, but in North Royalton, and better. Ryan and Rick have one heck of a spot. They'll be the first to tell you that while they shake your hand and thank you for coming in. It would be lip service if they were wrong. WHEN we comeback to town there will be one non-negotiable place my wife and I will stop at. it's the Monk if you couldn't have guessed by now.

They always have a flavor I enjoy. Their cookie dough really does taste like that. The peanut butter porter was my favorite.

Blue Monkey opened in 2019 and is tucked in next to the Drug Mart at Wallings and State roads. There's a very small patio out front by the entrance - maybe 5 tables or so. Inside has some booths and maybe 15 seats at the bar. There are rotating taps (check their website for the latest) and they also have wine from Michael Angelos winery. There's no food, but you can order your own, and tonight there was a food truck. I tried the salted caramel blond stout which was okay - it didn't really taste like salted caramel to me. My husband had the American Lager which he said was just okay. There's plenty of parking and free wifi. The bartenders were friendly.

One of our favorite breweries. Good beer and exceptionally friendly staff. Plus the convenience of being pretty close to where we live. Locally owned and family run business. They run a lot of events from sip and paint, to live music, to music trivia, to the cigar and bourbon night. They recently added charcuterie boards, but regularly have food trucks.Beerwise I've never had a bad beer from here. They've got a pretty frequently changing tap list. Their real specialty is their white stouts which are all exceptional. This will continue to be one of our top places to visit. Good beer and exceptional service, from a local family. Glad to be part of the Monkey Mafia.

Gather around Yelpers, this is a review of beer and boys, who will be the winner? Get to reading to find out! (Pretend like you don't know the answer already.)I heard about Blue Monkey Brewing Company from this tall ginger I met on Tinder. I really enjoy learning about new local breweries and sampling their goods so I was definitely down to make the trip and drink up. My interest was the same for The Boy, and he laid it on thick with his compliments, desire to help me with everything, and laughing at all of my hilarious banter (that's right, I said hilarious!), but I soon discovered the rumors about gingers are true, that soulless boy threw me a cold 180 and disappeared. You know what won't be disingenuous and lead you on and has better communication skills? The family owned BMBC. Everyone there is patient and friendly, they'll let you try some of their eight beer offerings before you buy and they even offer up some wine from Michael Angelo's Winery because unlike ignorant youth pursuing perfect clone partners, BMBC knows that variety is the spice of life and they are cool with you warming up to them if need be. They don't want to be just like everyone else. They want to put their own twist on craft beer for the world to delight in. They also want everyone who comes there to have a good time even if it's not with one of their beers. They have no problem supporting fellow local businesses. Speaking of this, while they don't offer food they do provide a couple of menus from places that will deliver grub to you while you partake in alcoholic beverages. Or you can bring in your own savory options (a cheese and meat board if you're feeling fancy or some Asian take-out would pair nicely.)BMBC is never going to say you're too ambitious for them because hello, they just made their dreams come true to open up a brewery in February! How can you not appreciate and enjoy seeing passion and drive become successful? I spoke with one of the owners and she said her nine year old son came up with the logo, how awesome is that?! Love the support and encouragement within the family. Not like The Boy who freaks when you tease him about going to a tea party. Smh. While BMBC does not look like a long haired Shaun White, they do have very appealing beers that will catch your fancy. I always find it best to go with a flight of different styles that way you can really get a feel for the brewery's offerings. Here a flight of four will cost you about $12. I sampled Salted Caramel, Chief Brewhoo, Vine Swinger, and Granola Oatmeal. All of them were tasty with no overwhelming or bitter flavor. I heard they have a Cookie Dough brew too, it just wasn't available when I was there so I'll have to stop back! (Take note that BMBC is connected to the left side of Drug Mart. The City won't let them put up a street sign so it's hard to find them. Also they are currently only open Fridays and Saturdays but will be adding Thursdays.)I highly recommend going for a hike at Mill Stream Run Reservation (about 12 minutes away) then gathering with some friends on the patio at BMBC and relaxing with a couple brews. Maybe even get a pizza delivered from Rosa's, their guy Pat happened to be at the brewery and we had a nice chat about scratch made sauces and Italian backgrounds. Or when you're done at BMBC you could hop on over to Kavana to share some plates - I got this recommendation from a group of friendly patrons and their dog Zeke. So in the end, don't bother dating anymore especially fickle boys younger than your badass self. Stay genuine. Skip the pretending and confusion boys give out and just enjoy a beer with friends. I hope BMBC joins the Cleveland Brewery Passport in the future and even if not, they are worth the drive out to suburban North Royalton!Life is so much better with a tasty refreshing drink in your hand than a lame boy by your side (or girl, whatever your preference!). Cheers!

Truly surprising quality of beer & warm inviting atmosphere. The owners/bartenders are incredibly friendly and always make sure you get exactly what you want, giving samples, letting you try some beers that are coming soon, and just spending time talking to you. I've been all over the country to some of the best breweries in Denver, Seattle, and California, and Blue Monkey Brewing is one my local favorites when I'm back home in Ohio visiting. & they are dog friendly!
