Blue Heron Deli

Gotta love the local shops especially when they serve delicious food. My favorite from them is the chicken salad sub/sandwich with horseradish mayo and all the veggie fixins.Now to why I'm leaving review. A couple days ago I had a problem with my order and delivery and at first, my problem wasn't being rectified in the manner that was acceptable in the customer service business. Instead of going full throttle on a review platform, I decided to reach out to their FB page via private message. I expressed my displeasure of the service I received from one of their staff members and in less than an hour I got a written statement back from the owners.Mr and Mrs Lehman explained to me how the mishap of my delivery happened and their process of delivering to my location. Next, they addressed the response I received from from one of their employees and assured me that, it was very unacceptable in the way said employee handled the situation. Lastly they thanked me for giving them a heads up on my situation because it allows them to grow and correct things other than letting something like this situation fly under the radar.I was granted my refund and I thought Debbie and Ernie handled this situation as best as possible.I love to see owners involved in their business to this magnitude and trying to correct what was wronged, right.Can't wait to fly back home and enjoy their food.Thank you

Everything is always delicious and hot! The staff is amazing, super friendly and quick! They have free delivery which is perfect for work or days when you just don't feel like leaving.

When I am looking for a good sandwich I need go no further than the Blue Herron. The Herron is located right at the top of the trailhead for the Towpath next to Ernie's and may be the only deli style sandwich shop in Massillon. There Pizza Sub was phenomenal and I will be sure to drop in there for a great change of pace eating experience. If you have not had the pleasure of dining there I'd recommend you hit it up for lunch ASAP, it helps that it does not hurt the wallet either.

Nice little deli/sandwich shop right off the Towpath. They have your basic sandwich and salad options. I got the Italian sub and it was pretty good. Nothing special or unique but really great service and the location is just perfect. They also have ice cream (didn't have any). I definitely plan on stopping by throughout the summer to take a break from biking.

They're always nice. Service isn't too fast but who cares. Grab a seat and wait. They tell you when it's done. The food is always great! Prices are a little up there for a sub/sandwich but you get chips included. They gave a ton of toppings you can get if you want. They sell baked goods, soups, and ice cream. I love this cute deli.

Went in to order and cashier was on the phone, and when she hung up she ignored me and waited on the 5 people behind me. I was able to drink an entire beverage while I waited. I hate being ignored especially when the cashier saw I was there and then turned her back on me. Was a very expensive place and very slow.

Off the beaten, or more precisely the O&E Canal Towpath, The Blue Heron is a wonderful gem to take a break and grab a sandwich, salad or wrap while sitting outside watching folks ride by on bikes or get ready for an outing on a canoe. Casually served in a basket with a side of chips, your choice is fresh, tasty and quite enjoyable.As it's right next to Ernie's bicycle shop on one side and Second Sole running store on the other, it also makes for a great planned stop on your own towpath experience.Plus they have some of the best ice cream in Stark County!Enjoy.

Good food. Friendly service. Pleasant deck to sit and eat.They had drinks that were both caffeine-free and sugar-free. Surprisingly had to find eateries that offer them.

Blue heron deli is truelly a rare find. Everything so fresh so delicious.The chicken salad is the best I have ever eaten. We have no need to visit any other deli for blue heron is the best.
