Blue Habanero

Nice Mexican restaurant with very cool decor.I had the Quesadilla Sampler, which came with one steak and one chicken quesadilla. I thought it was good and a decent size for a sampler. I also tried their pinto beans and thought they were great.Drinks were awesome! And they were literally lit on fire!

Food all had good taste. The nachos was our favorite. My rice and chicken was 18 bucks and only a half a plate of it was a little disappointing. Same with this lettuce side. Tasted good but it wasn't worth 18 bucks. Other Mexican restaurants service twice as much portion for 5 bucks less. Burrito my wife got was good but half way through she pulled a hair out. I looked back in the kitchen and didn't see many people wearing hair restraints or hats either so that explains that. They did take off bill which was nice. Nachos were best part of the whole meal. The server who waited on us was a younger guy and did a good job. He checked on us frequently and was quick about anything we did ask for. Host was also very welcoming and urgent getting me a highchair. Ambience in the restaurant was probably the best part. I thought it had a very Cool vibe with the paintings on the walls. It was cold when we went, but I did see the back patio by the restrooms and it looked like a really fun place to enjoy a meal on warmer days. I also saw other tables who got alcoholic drinks, they were served with flames coming off of them. That was pretty unique. Glad we checked it out, but probably would not go back again. Main reason being the price paid relative to food quantity receive. This place did not offer complementary chips and salsa either. Maybe my expectations were just also different from what this place is meant to offer.

Paloma: A lot of syrup added inside of it, 28$ for 2 drinks. Stronger than the margaritas!! Delicious with taste! 3/5 rating. No food was added onto this order.

Had a great time at Blue Habanero! Chicken enchiladas were delicious. Great little patio in the back. Food and drinks came quickly. Loved the octopus margarita!

Love this local chain - cocktails would be a 4, but I give it 5 because when I explained to the server what I wanted they custom made my drink... pretty cool - very customer focused. Then the food has always been 5 star.... Everything really nothing I wouldn't rate highly (and I've been thru the menu!)

Blue Habanero is a more upscale and contemporary Mexican restaurant. The decor is modern, warm and inviting. Unlike the host, who may have overlooked me, due to my work attire. I placed an online order for lunch for street tacos. It contains 3 tacos made the exact same way. You select the type of tortilla/shell, some toppings are extra and some are included. Well, well, well, I informed the host after being greeted that I placed an online order. The host proceeded to inform me that the chorizo is extra and the sour cream is extra and so on. He informs me that he will not charge me this time but he will the next time. I thought it was rude. After his lecture, I shared that I followed the instructions online and paid for my order. I also mentioned that he should correct the MF online software if there's a problem with the price charged. I told him that I will pay according to the advertised price and nothing more. He passed me the lunch I placed online and got back to work. The carne asada taco was bland, basic without any frills except only receiving 2 of 3 tacos as advertised. Sure, I will try it again.

My hubby and I stopped here on a whim for a Saturday lunch. The restaurant was busy, clean, and beautifully decorated. We were seated right away and had our order taken soon after. We had the guacamole, which was excellent. I ordered the fish tacos. Amazing! Light fish, crunchy slaw, and can we talk about the dressing? It was spicy, creamy, and wonderful. I washed it down with a regular house margarita on the rocks. They have a secret brunch menu with $5 margaritas, guys! Hubby ordered some short rib tacos. They were also very tasty, the meat was tender. We also ordered a piece of the tres leches cake, which was very good. The service was great and very attentive. The pricing was very reasonable. We will gladly make the one-hour commute for some amazing Mexican street food! Can't wait!

LOVED getting a margarita flight! Great drink selection! We always order multiple variations of tacos to share with the table. Always satisfied with this place!

We wanted to go here as their location downtown Cleveland was named #1 Mexican restaurant in Cleveland!! Figured the same but in the burbs. Met and exceeded our expectations. Each dish had that added touch. Note on my picture of my sangria the edible flower along with the orange slice. Not customary to have lobster at a Mexican restaurant but I tried the Lobster Relleno. It was a poblano pepper stuffed with lobster, queso fresco, tomatillo salsa with a side of cilantro white rice. Amazing. Lobster was noticeable and not skimpy. I would have this dish again. The rice was fresh and fluffy. The service was also commendable.

Great drinks & great dips! Got the prickly pear marg and really enjoyed it as it's a flavor you don't see everywhere
