Blue Barn Winery

Meh. Tried the flight. My wife did not dig the sweet wine. I did no rt dig the reserve and classic wines. Not horrible. Not great. Grounds are beautiful.

Such a cute place. They have a wine sampling of ALL their wines for $10 and you get a bottle of water. Not a lot of food - but they do have cheese and crackers for a reasonable price. Such a cute place !!! So glad we came

It's been three years since we were in the area visiting. We stopped to see Barefoot McCoy and to have some wine. They had the same wi e as previously but still good wine.It was a pleasure learning about where the wine is sourced from. Another great visit.

Attended a Eagles tribute band concert there last night and it was fantastic. The wine was good and the craft beers (made by Millersburg) were also good. Plenty of parking, a lot of tables and plenty of room to set lawn chairs. The music was great and not so loud to be over bearing. The atmosphere and the band were top notch, the whole venue is well organized and everyone had a great time. We'll definitely be back again.

Friday evening relaxing. My wife found this place on a Facebook suggestion. So glad we went. BYoF - Bring your on food so can't complain about anything there. They do offer a cheese plate or meat cheese for under $10. Comes with a few grapes, crackers and nuts. The main course however is the wine. This evening they offered 2 white and 2 red. One sweet and one dry. My wife chose the Reseling blend and I the red blend. Both great selections. They also had a few bottled beer selections. This was our first time here. Loved the atmosphere in the barn that was fixed up nice. They had antiques on the walls of farming hand tools. Tables scattered through out as they had live entertainment. Guitarist and singing favorite country songs. Also liked how he was taking donations for the local fire department. Tonight you got a free mum flower with eat bottle of wine purchased. We already plan to be back in a few weeks. Oct 6 a revisit. Different singer this evening that sorry to say was not as good and promoted his own CDs vs taking donations. Not the Blue Barns fault though but did change the atmosphere. Still the same good wine and will still come back. Dec 24 re-revisit. Merry Christmas Yelp family. Took some time today with my beautiful wife to have some Christmas cheer. They had a nice cheese spread with crackers, dip, cookies and of course great wine. Christmas music playing to round out the atmosphere

Great winery with plenty of seating (they have a tent if you prefer the shade). Blue Barn has a wine list for everyone from dry to the sweet. The events are amazing and there was even a food truck available. However Blue Barn does offer a meat/cheese tray.

Had such a negative experience here. My family, friends, and I were wine tasting around Loudonville and Blue barn was on our list of places to stop. While we were at the bar, politely waiting in line for our drinks, the owner came up to us and told us bachelorette parties "weren't welcome- and it's posted on their Facebook page"Seeing as we had never even looked at their Facebook page, we were really confused. He said that bachelorette parties can get out of control, and he doesn't want them. Mind you, my aunt, mother, mother in law and Grandma were all with us. We weren't an out of control bachelorette party, and the whole theme of the day was wine tasting! He did let us stay because we had "old people in our group" who he felt could "keep us in line". We ordered our wine and sat ourselves out near the pond so we wouldn't disturb the other two couples in the place (one of which followed us from the other wineries and were already familiar with our group and having fun with us). The owner just made us feel very uncomfortable and very unwelcome the whole time. He served our group only in small plastic cups, even though other patrons got glassware. We all promptly left after our one glass of wine and moved on to more fun wineries. Skip this place. Much better wineries in the nearby area with way more fun atmosphere and staff.

Beautiful setting, the seating inside or outside on patio are both terrific. Hubby and I went on a Friday afternoon and really enjoyed the winesLooking forward to another trip!

Wines OK. Ambience good. Service fine. An amazing array of musical talent presented. Enjoyable place and way torelaxed and socialize.

Nice atmosphere. Lots of folks gathered to enjoy the live music when we visited.Tasted 9 wines for a very reasonable price. Really liked the sweet varieties. Got a few bottles to take with us.
