Bistro on Main

Awesome food. The berry salad with candied nuts is delicious. I had it two days in a row!The brisket fries are not to be missed.But the thing we have to talk about here is the Mac and cheese. We ordered it off the kids menu for our son, but WOW. Wowwwwww! Maybe the best Mac n cheese I've ever had. It's got whole cheese shavings on top and it's incredible.Would have given 5 stars but the service ain't great. It was actually pretty rough but they were very nice

First of all, we had reservations on February 14. They overbooked and after standing for 10 minutes, we were offered seats at the bar. The hostess seemed like she was in over her head and had no idea what she was doing. I ordered a martini. It was put in a square glass and I wasn't given an olive. It was not a martini. I don't know what you call it. We ordered plantain nachos. They came out cold and they did not taste good. At that point, we cut our losses and asked for the bill.Not only am I not going back, I strongly discourage anyone from patronizing this establishment.

When Bistro on Main first opened years ago, it was one of my go-to places. My husband and I loved it. Then we became vegans, and there's not a single vegan dish on the menu and barely any vegetarian options. We recently added some meat back into our diet and decided to go back last night (after 8 years)! We were disappointed. The food is overpriced and unremarkable, the service is fine, the ambiance is fine. It's all just okay. The plantain chips appetizer was probably the best part of the meal though a bit haphazard. My sangria was delicious. The pizza was under seasoned. The mangia pasta was out of a box and too salty. The desserts were fine but had clearly been sitting around a while. In the bar was live music, and that was entertaining. I think this is the kind of place that's great for drinks and appetizers but not necessarily for entrees.

The $5 burger night is a steal! Tasty food, generous portions, friendly people. Will be back

Really great service, draft beers, cocktails. The food was really good although a little expensive. The vibe is a little strange - dark and dated.

The Bistro never misses. Food is always phenomenal. Service is great. Inside or outside seating is good. Pizzas are amazing and I've never had a bad entree. I would recommend the brisket fries as well.

We brought friends to Bistro on Main. We called to have for four at the bar. Yes, reservations to sit at the bar because of the popularity. The bartenders Krista, Nancy and Maddy are very nice. The plantain nachos are delicious and my wife's favorite. The friends had the brisket and were very pleased. Krista recommended the osso buco and she did not steer me wrong. The bar side atmosphere of the restaurant is more inviting than the dining room. Monday through Friday happy is the way to go.

Extremely slow service. Took over an hour to get our meals which consisted of just soups and salads, no entrees. The woman who dropped our food off was extremely snappy and rude as well. One of my friends ordered the soup special, which was Italian wedding soup, but what she got was some kind of stew. We asked our waitress about this and she said the soup special got changed and she wasn't aware, which is understandable but she failed to come let us know this and decided not to say anything at all until we asked. Our entire table was extremely annoyed at this point. Slow service seems to be a common theme the few times I've been here.

Fish smelt like amonia - which means its decomposing. Waitress was like a deer in the head lights. They were clueless on how to make things right. Adios Bistro on Main - not worth the trip and zero value.

Seared chicken was absolutely delish! Cooked to perfection, chicken super moist. Perfect place for date nights. super classy and high end. Would prefer that servers had more professional attire. I wasn't expecting to be greeted by a server in blue jeans though.
