Bistro On 130

Delicious food and great, friendly staff.If I hadn't heard about it would have easily missed this place.It's in a strip mall - usually a turn off for me- but has cozy, Italian decor.

Such a surprise. Nestled in an unassuming plaza is this cute, romantic gem. Decked out for Valentine's Day it would make a perfect date spot. Home cooked classic Italian dishes like Eggplant lasagna served up with bubbling cheese, marinara and tender tasty eggplant. Fresh baked bread with every meal and house made dressings on each salad as well as trimmings of olives, tomato and mozzarella. Smiling, friendly and expert servers. Great for lunch or dinner.

My only complaint is that they aren't closer to me. Lol. Handmade pastas, sauces and pizzas make this a must try for anyone in the area wanting some of the best Italian food outside my grandmother's kitchen! Seriously, try it all. We've been here several times and from the food to the service we have never been dissatisfied.

Came here on a recent weekday to meet up with my wife and an old, dear friend. We settled into our booth and were energetically served by a lovely waitress who guided us through the meal. A basket of fresh, warm bread and butter arrived, so we dug into that while we awaited the next course.My wife ordered the chicken piccata meal and I the chicken parmesan. Both dishes came with a nicely prepared house salad (topped with sliced cucumbers, black olives, cherry tomatoes and shredded mozzarella cheese) served with a homemade Italian dressing.I found the lunch portion of chicken parmesan with spaghetti to be generous and their red sauce on the zestier side (which I love). Chicken was moist, under a blanket of baked cheese and there was enough leftovers to make another meal for me the next day.Glad we gave this spot a go, and I'd definitely return if in the area again.

This is a tiny restaurant that is huge on customer service. We were greeted with such warmth. I have never experienced such great staff all around. The food was fantastic. I had the baked cod over risotto. That was bursting with flavor. The lemon chicken soup was delicious. I will be returning very soon.

Had a really good meal at Bistro on 130 tonight. We were headed someplace else but pivoted to Bistro this evening. We felt lucky to get a table as another couple didn't show. The food was very good. I had a pasta lobster special. Was very good but a little rich for me. My wife had chicken parm; I tried that too and it was good. Mine came with tomato basil soup and hers a salad. We switched but both good. The service was excellent. We had at least four people stopping by our table regularly and everyone was attentive and friendly. Nick was really great. The ambiance is ok. The place is a little small but not real cramped. The location is out of the way and we never go by here and would not have gone by unless my wife remembered she wanted to try it. Since I'm a pizza connoisseur I am interested in trying that on the next visit. I saw it on a table by ours on the way out and it looked worthy of another visit. Give it a try for yourself sometime soon.

My birthday dinner was not a disappointment...Calamari was delicious , steak perfectly cooked...more food than I was able to eat

Food is awesome. Service was wonderful. Ambiance is nice, it's a nice little restaurant. Will definitely go back again.

Tis a quick 6 years since I first reviewed Bistro on 130, and we are / have been regulars since. Real tablecloths, napkins, great but not garish decor. Hand made pasta with sauce rivaling our Italian "Nonna"..Lunch menu is concise, excellent and always a great value. (You'll pay more for fast food). Full bar. Come, meet the friendly staff and enjoy some Italian cooking. You don't have to go downtown and pay $300 to have a memorable 5 star experience.

Lovely! I had time to kill and stopped in for lunch. Cozy atmosphere and service was great! Lunch menu had many options and I got the stuffed peppers. The food was terrific. I'm not from the area but will definitely stop in for dinner next time I am passing through. Highly recommend. Top Notch!
