Bistro BELLA LUNA

Good food and attentive staffAfter walking around and discovering this place we decided to give them a try one night. It was a Friday and there was only one other table seated. The guy who sat us down got us drinks right away and helped us decide what to order. We had the Caesar salad that was fresh and delicious. Chicken parmigiana was good. Salmon was also good. Overall great portion size. The chocolate torte was very rich and satisfying. Overall great experience. We will have to come back to try the brunch menu.

Honestly we didn't even eat here, I am only commenting on the staff when we called and I believe the owner when we got there. We were passing through looking for something to eat, it looked good and the reviews weee decent. I called to make sure they were open and asked if they had anything for kids and was told they could make a grilled cheese, which was fine but she wasn't terribly nice. When we got there, before even a hello a guy said we are closing in 40 minutes and we are out of just about everything on the menu. He then walked away to deal with something. Needlessly to say we left. It was nice to see Oberlin and if you are in the area Arb's is a nice lunch place down the street with lovely staff.

Looking for a new place to eat out and decided to try out Bella Luna. Meals were very good and everyone enjoyed them. Give it a try!

Lovely dinner... entrees were yummy and the service was excellent also.The salad was perfectly light and refreshing and the main course was delicious. We had the Cod and the Gnocchi. Sadly we skipped dessert but perhaps next time.

This was our third trip to Bistro Bella Luna. The two dinners we had there were great. Pappardelle w/bolognese I took half home and had very good leftovers even. We've tried the Lamb shank and tortellini. Today we had brunch. A very nicely made frittata with fresh spinach, zucchini, tomato's and goat cheese. Very fresh and looking forward to next time.

Delicious & Satisfying! This is the best food I haveever had in Oberlin. We had 2 different types of salad.Both were super fresh with amazing ingredients: fruits, cheese,lettuce, beets etc.The Gnocchi was superb. 2 Servings of that!Our main meat dish was beef with Chimichurri sauce. I never had that sauce but will again!Roasted potatoes - very good.For dessert we had chocolate torte. This was a real torte.Not a disguised brownie or pie.It was high-yield chocolate, dense and rich. But not overly sweet. Highly suggest this ifyou like and appreciate good chocolate. Nothing was over spiced or salty. All food tasted homemade. It's hard to find food this good.Why America loves hamburgers and friesso much I'll never know.This was at a catered event so I cannot speak on serviceor atmosphere at the restaurant.

Comically bad service, terrible food, delusional owner. The food was so bad that the owner's only defense was "you ate it". Meal managed to be both unde and over cooked.

The server was excellent, very polite and attentive but not overly soFried green tomatoes were very good, not quite like a good Southern restaurant but close enough. Beef tornedos were excellent, the spaghetti and meatballs were great and the chocolate torte was delicious Everything was homemade, will definitely return

Quaint, nice for a quick lunch which is what we went for. Don't know what climate is like later in the day.

The dishes felt very "home-style" and healthy.Would recommend onion soup and pesto pasta.The mussels and shrimp just slightly fishy but okay.The silverware feels really rough and a little tiny and feels like it was stolen from the school dining hall.Our waiter seemed really new and seemed to be having a hard time.
