My wife and I love going here for breakfast or lunch when we can. Cute little country diner. Self seating and the servers are always quick to come and take your order and frequently check in on you. They have a great selection of both breakfast and lunch items. I love the Pawloski bowl and Paul's favorite omelet! They always have great specials and be sure to check out their rotating desert cooler because you never know what they might have that day! Definitely stop by this place if you're ever in Albion

Cute little diner. Very clean, our waitress was very nice. The Rachel sandwich was great and the black and blue burger was a close second. The hand cut fries are great as well

Everything about this place was great. We had a rather large group, and they accommodated us easily on a Sunday morning. The staff was pleasant and friendly. The food came fast and was delicious. If I had to say anything negative, it would be that the homefries were not what i was expecting. I tend to like the diced skillet fried potatoes, and these were slices, but still pretty good. We will be back next time we are in town.

What a great find!! Cozy and charming breakfast and lunch cafe. Tried Sandy's scramble and it was delish!! Portion was huge. Perfectly cooked potatoes with sausage gravy, bacon, cheese topped with scrambled eggs. Must have if you have a big appetite. Also, pancakes were light and fluffy!

This place might be worth a detour down from I-90. It sure beats going to one of the chain restaurants on Peach Street in Erie.I was at Big Irene's to place a take-out breakfast order. While waiting for my food, I was there long enough to see that this is a GREAT place to eat. Service was attentive, and the customers were happy. When I got back to the motel, my wife and I agreed that was our food pretty good too.

Yes. Exactly what I was looking for. Having breakfast in a small town, good food, and lots of cross table shared laughter. Talking about the weather and how much rain recently. Considering taking the mules into the woods to get the logs out. Reading the sale papers. Rice in the salt shaker to keep it from clumping in the humidity. Casual but very clean. Country decor. Most of all the service, Greetings to each person, "Good morning", friendly and fun. Taking care of customers is number one! Your coffee is hot and she refills before you drink half of it. Omelette was really good cooked gently and very tasty, potatoes were good, sausage patty very good, bacon was very nice, and rye toast was fantastic. Good people, filled up after I arrived. I guess reservations are common! A favorite local spot!!

Ordered Blue Cheese burger with side salad. The burger was fresh, nice portion served with a toasty bun. This burger was delicious as well as a very nicely made fresh side salad. Dara and all staff were warm and welcoming. So glad we stopped and discovered this gem. Can't wait to return!

Big Irene's Little Diner. A slice of Americana like apple pie, a hidden gem nestled in the bucolic town of Albion. Todays specials were meatloaf and mashed potatoes and watermelon ice tea which hit the spot. The Rueben was fantastic. Pleasant visit and service with a smile.
