Bell Mell Pizza

The kitchen staff knocked this pizza out of the park!!! They don't provide table service at this establishment but that's fine, the kitchen staff always brings out the pizza, appetizers & are helpful and even bring extra plates when they are not busy. Had the pick 3 appetizer as well, enjoyed that it was out well before the pizza so we could snack on it as we were pretty hungry. Definitely took care of the kitchen in the tip! I can't really comment on the young lady bartender, she didn't really give friendly service when we came in & went up to get our drinks, told us several times rudely there was no table service. Yes, we acknowledged that when we walked in and weren't even there 30 seconds, live in the area and saw the signs. Just wrote it off to her having a bad day I guess (shrug), it was just odd as there were only about 8 customers there...all at the bar not sure why.

Best pizza in Port Clinton area. Order the deluxe, it's amazing! Though most of their specialty pizzas are also great.

Pizza is pretty good. Nothing special but also not the worst. Came out kinda burnt on a few slices. Can be a little pricey on some drinks, but they also have specials and $2 beers. Kept it simple and Ordered the sausage and pepperoni. Taste and texture wise it kinda compares to a fast food pizza, like dominos or Pizza Hut. Overall the food and atmosphere is just kinda alright

Value is the greatest asset. Staff was friendly and apologetic that they don't do military first responders discount. This is carryout only. No dine in service. This business is attached to the tavern. You can also order and receive food in the tavern through the pass-thru window. Two size pizzas, 9 inch and 12 inch. I found the pizza crust, sauce and cheese only mediocre. My closest taste comparison would be some I tasted at a buffet, cafeteria or gas station. Maybe it's fantastic at last call.

A bit of a hole in the all but excellent pizza and service. The tavern next door looked like a really cool local spot to grab a brew or drink. So happy to find local placesLike this that aren't chains.

This was one of if not the best pizza I have had in Port Clinton Ohio! One thing that was confusing tho when ordering they said what size 9" or 12" but ever where we seen it said only one size so that maybe something new I'm not sure on that. But just a heads up the 9" pizza has more of a traditional pizza crust as the 12" is more of a thin crust pizza both was really good. We also tried the macaroni and cheese bacon bites and they are a must try! Sooo Good! The cheese bread was great as well. So I would recommend this place for sure.

The place we wanted to grab dinner was closed so we came here. There was zero social distancing. They had a full crowded bar. None of the kitchen staff had masks on. There was a man set up selling Trump merchandise. We ordered a cheeseburger medium with fries, a 12 inch pizza and cheese garlic bread. The burger came out with chips they fixed that no problem. The burger was very well done not medium. The garlic cheese bread wasn't edible. It had so much cheese but it was barely melted so the texture was awful. Same with the pizza. There was a lot of cheese but towards the center it wasn't fully melted. The only enjoyable part was by the crust where the cheese was more done. The kitchen and bar are billed separate. We had two Millers, a tea, and a soda it came to $11 befor tip. The receipt didn't list prices but that seems pricey for 2 cheap beers a tea and soda.I won't be going back.

I've been coming to Port Clinton since I was a kid, and it's been legitimately a 2nd home for my family. As in, I spent weekends living there since I was in diapers. Back in the day, selection was sparse, but Bell Mell existed. It was what my dad ordered for my sister and I when we behaved. It was a treat for us and still is. We have been patrons for 20 years and will continue to do so. Some renovation may have changed it aesthetically, but the tried and true pizza they have... hasn't changed at all. It feels so warm and loving like home and the fact that it's remained untouched after all these years, Makes it even better. They have a bar with a Cheers vibe and tons of tables and room to watch OSU games. OSU games there are so incredibly fun!Thank you for being so good to our family after all these years, Bell Mell. You're our numero uno forever.

Some friends and I went to Bell Mell's for our night out. We were there for about a total of 10 minutes before the disgusting rap music forced us to leave. F-ing this and that, mf-er b----, mf-er dyke, etc. I asked the bartender if they would please change the station, and what I got was, "Hey, some lady out here wants you to turn your music down!" No, I didn't want it down, I didn't want to listen to such obscene "music". Nothing was done, so we left. If this is how it's going to be since the previous owners sold it, we won't be back.
