I really use to live Beiler's but I have to say the quality of their fruits and veggies have really gone downhill. Their deli is incredible. Bulk items are great. However, there has been so many occasions that I've bought produce and it's been bad by the next day.

Peppers and parsnips and onions....OH MY! Beiler's is a vegetarians wonderland (and meat eaters alike!) A friend of mine turned me onto Belier's. Needless to say, they are now my very best friend. I absolutely love Beiler's! If you like a large selection of fresh produce at really good prices, this is the place for you. Want some affordable fresh herbs for your dinner recipe? Beiler's. Potatoes for that breakfast hash? Beiler's. Deli ham for your lunch sandwiches? Beiler's. This place has amazing sale ads and their veggies are beautiful. They have a deli counter with some of the nicest staff. Fast, efficient and a good selection of meats and cheeses. Love to bake? They have a bulk ingredient section that is huge and a massive variety of ingredients you can't find in bulk elsewhere. Parking here is a bit of a bear and navigating the store can be frustrating.....it is tight quarters and people love to leave their carts in the middle of the aisles. But, check out is speedy and the quality of their bags to put your produce in and their checkout bags are top notch. No ripping bags and run away apples!I come here once a week and recommend you do too!

Lots of amazing fresh food choices. So many hard to find veggies and fruits! My husband loves the Amish cheeses. Pretty good prices. $1 for three bunches of green onions!

Best produce and prices in the area. On my last visit home we paid about 1/3 the price for fruits and veggies when compared to Giant Eagle. In this locally owned and operated Mennonite business, you will find: fresh deli meats and cheeses, with nutritional labels posted by most items. (Very helpful, since I was home helping my father recuperate post heart attack!) regular and naturally sweetened Amish jams, bulk bagged candy, so many spices (good taco seasoning), baked goods, like my very favorite (in the whole wide world) pumpkin cookies, colorful varieties of popping corn, popcorn seasonings, canning supplies, local chips, sour cream, butter and whatnot, and many, many Amish style pies! I noticed some new cookbooks on this go around, to include Amish and Diabetic/ Healthy cooking genres. I always get a Caramel at the register. I have watched Beiler's grow in size and customer base over the years, and share with the community. It is a bit packed with people, at times, and always packed with goodies! **Tips: If you are driving in from Akron, on the 619/Edison, take a left on 91/Cleveland Ave at the only stop light in town. Beiler's will be the Red Building on the Right.Closed Sundays, like most traditional shops in Lake Township.

Great place to purchase bulk items and save a ton. The deli selection is vast and they carry a nice assortment of cheese. You can tell there has been a real effort to modernize the store. The employees are friendly and helpful.

A true roadside oddity. Buy spices and candy in bulk here and save a ton of money. Weird little place with some things you really can't find anywhere.

I love the convenience of this store, and they do have a wide selection. Many of the vegetables, such as their potatoes and onions, are fine. I do find a lot of variation in quality of their cold more perishable vegetables, such as red and green leaf lettuce, and peppers, grapes, etc. Recently I've purchased leaf lettuce more than once, and when getting into it at home found lots of broken smashed bits on the inside of the heads, which were beginning to decay. Throwing away half of what I've bought isn't a good thing and it has happened more often lately. Not sure I'll buy lettuce from them again.I love the deli, although the ordering/pick up process can be lengthy when the store is busy. They way they take and fulfill orders is odd, one person writes down your order, and someone else fills it. The bulk items, candy, nuts, baking supplies, offer a large selection. Though small, the cold dairy items also offer a good selection, as do the frozen items. There is a nicely stocked baked good area, for that last minute dessert offering. Try the fry pies, if you're lucky enough to shop when they still have some in stock. All in all a nice neighborhood market, I just wish the lettuce was of better quality, and or handled better. They offer a decent selection considering the small size of the store. One thing that really bugs me is the lack of cart cleanliness. The carts look as if they are never cleaned at all. No way I'd place a child in one, or food that wasn't wrapped/packaged. Some of the carts are in dismal shape, some barely push due to mangled wheels.
