Basement at the Lakes

If I could give it zero stars I surely would. My boyfriend and I walked in. Monday night. We grabbed a seat at the bar. There were maybe 10 people in the place. The so-called bartender didn't even look our way. She walked in the kitchen, walked back out, continuing her conversation with her friends... still, not even a look our way. She walked BACK in the kitchen and returned again. NOTHING! We sat there 5, 6 maybe seven minutes with nothing so much as a head nod. We got up and walked out. If she would have just said hi. Made eye contact with us. But nope. Money out of her own pockets (and everyone else that works there because we will not be back)! This is a place that we have frequented for a couple years. Boo hiss.

Met a friend here for dinner before the big game. My friend suggested eating here and I'm glad she did. The food was delicious, fresh and hot.We started with the queso appetizer and I had a cider that was on tap. The cider was super delicious! The queso was good, but the chips were a little bland. My gyro philly was over the top amazing! The meat, toppings and seasonings were so good on the fresh bun. This is a huge sandwich, ended up taking a little home. I also recommend the tots as the side. By the way, the tots are really good dipped into the queso. My friend ordered the chicken philly and ended up taking some hone too. The service was good, but it took a little while for the food to come out from the kitchen. We weren't in a hurry, so it wasn't a problem for us. I plan to eat here again soon so I can try their other philly sandwiches.

This bar does not allow service animals which is against the law. I had my certificates, he is marked and well behaved. They said since they serve food I couldn't have my service animal. Do not support this establishment.

Stacey and Ashley are the friendliest and offer perfect customer service. Drinks are perfect and kitchen staff is great!

The blonde with the burnt crunchy hair who looks about in her late 30s is rude and possibly blind. Me and my husband sat down at the bar and got blatantly ignored by her but she was immediately able to help the people that sat down just a few minutes after us then another party of 3 walked in maybe 6 minutes after we had already been ignored but they were able to be helped almost immediately but not us not sure if that girl just had a thing for us or she was just a dumb azz but hope no one else has to deal with Helen Keller BS

Great food good staff prices are moderate, but it does take a very long time to get your food.

So my girlfriend and I went into the Lake Basement and there were only 8-10 people in there, and when we walked in the barmaid looked at and walked away. When she came back she looked our way, turned her back and started talking to one of her friends. We sat there for 5-7 minutes without so much a hello. If I could give zero stars I would. I'll never go there again. Way to go Basement.

went to the basement to eat for a 2nd time in the last week,I wasn't gonna write a review but had the same issue at the bar with the same bartender both times. This time I sat at the bar and waited but no one helped me. I waved down the young lady with long blonde hair (pretty sure her name is fate) to help me. she had a terrible attitude AGAIN and even worse service. Eventually I got my drink. but when I wanted another, I was ignored again. the bartender just stood there talking to a group of people at the bar, other workers and even played on her phone for the longest time. I had to wave another worker down who wasn't behind the bar just to get another drink. this young lady introduced herself as tesla (like the car) she did help me and even checked back on me. So a big thank you to her. the bartenders or at least the bartender that I dealt with could use more training or at the very least, should have a better attitude toward customers.

Forced to leave after a tomatoes vs no tomatoes argue happened! Was told to NEVER come back!

The food is pretty good & pricing isn't bad either, but the wait is horrible!!! Even if you order to pick up it's still an hour wait. So if you're not starving & have time to kill, it's not a bad place. But I wouldn't suggest to go here if you're in a rush or have other things to do.
