Solid spot for drinks and dinner. Great staff. Prices are right. Quality is top notch. Excellent Neighborhood establishment.

Visited Barrelhouse with the family for dinner. Upon arrival, we were promptly seated in the poorly lit dining room. Our friendly waiter arrived and brought us filtered ice water along with menus. He told us about the daily specials. Looking at the menu, there was a good selection of food and it all sounded good. As an appetizer, I requested broccoli cheddar soup and charcuterie. My mom requested a house salad. For dinner, I asked the waitress which dish was better, the grouper or the stuffed peppers. She recommended the grouper dinner, so that is what I went with. My son requested chicken and waffles even though they were out of fried chicken. My mom and wife both requested the 6 oz. flank steak. A little while later, the soup and salad were delivered. The broccoli cheddar soup was delicious. My mom finished up her salad, but she wasn't a fan of the lettuce for some reason. Then the charcuterie arrived. It was okay, but not great. The peanuts were disappointingly stale and hard. Weird. Then the food was delivered. I don't know what I was thinking by ordering grouper. It was hard and rubbery - served exactly the way that fish should NOT be served. Terrible. The risotto was also bad because it lacked flavor and had an odd texture. The broccolini was delicious, however. My son couldn't finish his dish because it was just plain bad - grilled chicken was bland and just bad. My wife and mom said their steak was okay. I tried a bite and I agreed, it was just okay. Anyway, now that we've had the opportunity to visit this restaurant, we will not be back. Service was very good.

Great food! Solid service. Relaxed atmosphere. Menu changes a bit periodically. Daily chef specials as well as a byo sandwich menu. Cocktail menu is also impressive. Highly recc the tequila espresso cocktail, it's phenomenal. And.... They are open Mondays! Check it out.

Great food and drinks! Build your own burgers and all day brunch with a great cocktail menu. Very nice bourbon selection.

Decided to give the new Barrelhouse a try this week. Went with the BYOB selection. Specifically marked the Brioche bun option. Burger showed up on toasted Ciabatta bun. I asked if I had marked Brioche or Ciabatta. She said they had no Brioche so I get Ciabatta. Hey...how about saying " sorry we are out of Brioche buns would you like one of our other bun selections"? Nope...I get whatever they decide. The smash burgers were overdone and a bit dry which made it even harder to get down when smashed between two toasted Ciabatta bricks. Super expensive also. Won't be going back.

This place is really great. It is a casual bar/restaurant with fantastic food options. The drinks are well done and the staff is super professional. I have drinks and meals here very often.

Great food, excellent service and very friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend the pork dumplings and fried green tomatoes. Good wine selection too!

Delicious food...great mussels, flat iron steak was wonderful! Perfect garlic mashed potatoes and excellent broccollini. I will be happy to eat there again soon. The servers were terrific, as well. I really liked the lighting there, too.

The owner is oblivious to his customers. Service is lacking at best. The bar is now stripped and vacant. Avoid at all costs.
