Barb & Patty's Butcher Palace

Pretty good meat, but their customer service is hit or miss at best. FYI : if you use their coupons, make sure you tell them when you make your selection.I'm taking my business elsewhere.

Went in and asked for a 3 bone tv roast. Was told they don't do it that way. They do it by pounds. I told them I'm feeding four. I ended up with a one and half bone rib roast. The smallest that I have ever smoked. On top of not listening to my initial order they insisted they had to cut the ribs away and tie it back up. I am glad they are familiar with the common way to roast a prime rib but that is not what I am doing. I should not have to tell them 4 time, yes 4 times, not to remove the bones. Meats look great but customer service sucks.

I wanted to like this place but was turned off by the customer service!!!I've read other reviews that said that this is a friendly place. I did not have that experience!!I like to shop local and since I was having out of state guests who are who I love very much and are special to me, I wanted to get something special for them. When we visit them, they always have great stories of why they shop certain places and why the food is special. So I thought this would be a great place to get some background information on how they make the sausage and explain to my guests why the sausage is special and that is why I bought it for them.But a woman with short dark hair did not want to answer any of my questions about the shop. In fact she just acted like I was an idiot and was very curt and rude. So I don't think I will ever know how good the food is because I won't buy anything here.

Premade foods are amazing. We had Swedish meatballs, bbq short ribs, and stuffed cabbage. All amazing. They have no carb bread that is so good and the no carb pasta is amazing too. So many choices. No complaints!

I was looking forward to my first visit. When I walked in, I found the store to be lacking in organization. Some stuff was in the frozen case, some fresh. There are signs everywhere. If they would organize stuff in the case and make bigger signs to group the sections, this would be a much better place to shop. It didn't feel high quality to me, and for that reason, I left without buying anything, sad to say.

The lady at the butcher shop is unbelievably rude--every interaction feels like you're inconveniencing her just by walking in. She barely acknowledges customers, snaps at simple questions, and acts like she'd rather be anywhere else. A little basic courtesy wouldn't hurt.

I have stopped going because of people behind the counter. They act like you should have everything you want should written down and you rapidly tell them. You are a waste of their time. Heaven forbid you point to the piece of meat you want and not let them give you the first piece they grab. When I first started going there it was very good and the ladies were nice-then a man came to work there and things changed-especially the service.

Terrible customer service. Grouchy old lady. No thanks. Bought a family pack of different cuts of meat that was on sale for $270. All 10 pounds of the hamburger was spoiled. I have been very weary about the rest of the order. Some beef cuts have been too fatty. Not going back.

Staff tends to have an ATTITUDE when taking your order or answering questions. A lot of their advertised offerings are actually frozen, not fresh as you'd expect from a butcher shop.My biggest challenge is their "THICK SLICED BACON" that really isn't as thick as the prepackaged offerings from a big box store. AND they wad it up into a goopy pile in a plastic sandwich bag. A pain to separate for frying. This has happened more than once.Be sure to bring the coupon sheet from their website for specials. I download the pdf to my phone.

I bought 2 Delmonico steaks @17.99 lb. These were the worst steaks I have EVER eaten. I don't shop at SavA-Lot but I bought steak there once. They sell Mexican beef. These were worse than that! No flavor, pretty tough. Both steaks were terrible. Don't waste your time or money.
