They only have to go ordering available and they made me yell across the room which seemed so dumb. They could just come up to me and take my order but they have it set up where you can't go near the bar or restaurant and can only stay near the door. Weird. Really weird. Anyway, we ordered to go and ate in our car since we didn't realize it was only to go until we arrived. Our food was really good although the rolls were a little bit mushy. The best thing from our order was the steak fried rice which tastes like they use sushi grade rice YUM! And their yum yum sauce is delish too. We also enjoyed two other rolls (also a bit mushy tho) and a grilled salmon.

Very good Sushi at a very reasonable price. Last time I order a 3 rolls in 1 bundle for like 17$ and it was phenomenal. Still came with the soup and salad also. Great business. Highly recommended if you like sushi. Have nit had their hibachi yet but iv heard great things.

While enjoying a day trip to the Marblehead Lighthouse, my son remarked that he would like to have sushi for lunch. Perusing Yelp, we discovered the nearest open Japanese restaurant was Bamboo House in Fremont. Hitting the road, we arrived at the otherwise deserted restaurant around 11:30am, and were immediately seated at the sushi bar as per our request. Looking over the menu, we both opted for the Regular Sushi with miso soup, as we wanted to try a variety of pieces of nigiri sushi. Combined with green tea to drink, our bill with tax came to $35.20, which is definitely on the pricey end of the spectrum. The restaurant's fastidiously clean dining room was made up dark, hardwood tables in the centre, with pretty standard looking booths along the side wall. The sushi bar was at the back wall of the eatery, and in addition to displaying several varieties of fish inside the case, the top of the case sported the ubiquitous maneki-neko or waving cat, as well as a selection of drinks available for purchase, including saki, wine, beer, and ramune. Lighting in the establishment was set just below what I would call 'intimate' but the sushi bar itself was brightly lit. The large, flatscreen television on the wall was turned off, but that was ok as we were there to watch the sushi chef apply his trade! Our green tea arrived piping hot in ceramic tumblers, and was soon followed by matching bowls of soup. The miso was rich and flavourful, and while the soup seemed to be devoid of onions or tofu, it had a generous helping of nori or seaweed. A few minutes after finishing off our miso, the chef completed our sushi and passed it to us on traditional wooden boards. Artfully displayed on the boards were eight pieces of California roll and two pieces each of four types of fish, as well as a small mound of gari or pickled ginger and wasabi. In taste, my son and I both found the California rolls to be excellent, with the perfect blend of crunchy cucumber, sweet crab, and creamy avocado. However the star of the show was the nigiri sushi, especially the hamachi (yellowtail), which we found to be exquisitely rich and buttery. Likewise the toro (tuna) was melt in your mouth delicious! For very good food, a nice atmosphere, and attentive service, I rate Bamboo House as being Very Good, and will definitely be back!

The food was a disappointment. The food didn't seem fresh and they only allowed to go orders.

Well, I came in with modest expectations. I was surprised by the quality and creativity of the sushi rolls! Excellent flavor palette with delicate textures. The hot tea is served very hot and well brewed. Miso soup is the "cloudy white" variety. It is a good balance of liquids to solids. Whoda thunk Freemont Ohio would have great and creative sushi!?!?? I will be back. I hope that it is just as amazing. This gives West Coast quality sushi without any of the West Coast baggage.... A+

Decided to check in our because the reviews...I am a little disappointed, had a Cali roll and Alaskan roll- they were decent.Ordered the "habachi" dinner- shrimp and steak. The whole plate must have been cooked in the same sauce... lacks flavor and there is a odd sweetness to the food. Overall - we were disappointed...

This is the best restaurant in Fremont! The have authentically good sushi and the staff is incredibly kind. My personal favorite rolls are the harmony and Godzilla rolls. The hot and sour soup is great, as well as the vegetable hibachi if you don't like sushi. The best thing to happen to Fremont!
