B ROX Grill and Swill

I wasn't sure about B-ROX after our first visit, and it would be best to just be as honest as possible in this case. The restaurant is nice and clean, and the open area is nice to sit in on warmer nights so the big doors can be open while the fans inside are going. Our waitress was nice, but it was a football night, so it got increasingly loud from about 8-10pm; it got a little frustrating to talk to each other. Our waters came in small pitchers, which was fun, and we didn't need to keep asking for refills. The cheesy bread appetizer was outstanding since the dough was homemade, so I can see another visit for an appetizer night. The Philly cheesesteak wasn't too big, but the club sandwich was gigantic. We were very dissatisfied with the fries that came out very salty, and I noticed the ham on my sandwich was on the saltier side as well. I think I would go back a different night for appetizers, and maybe split an entree with my party.

We were at the Highland location. The food is good. It's a wings, beer, and burgers kind of place. Good place to watch Guardians playoff baseball. However, the service SUCKS. Our waitress didn't bring plates with the wing order. We waited for long periods of time with our her checking on our table.

Greeted and sat promptly, it was a slow night due to the weather but there was plenty of staff. The place was fairly empty. Our drink ordered were taken quickly but we seemed to be forgotten after that. After a while (way too long of awhile) our waitress took are order. We started with the bread sticks for the table, pretty good. I had the whale (fish hoagie) and it was pretty good, the fries had a crust which was pretty good. My wife had the cubano and she felt was ok. One daughter had the cheese burger which she liked. My other daughter had the frenchie sandwich, a twist on chicken & waffles. Chicken on French toast. She really liked it a lot. The sodas come in mini pitchers which hold more than the average glass. Overall not a bad experience, though not a great one either. The blizzard like weather may have affected everyone. I will try again to see if the service was just a one off. Good bar food.

This is a photo of nothing. Which is exactly what we got. Wednesday Wing Night...walk in at 8:00 PM and the Hostess warns us, if you're here for wings, we're all sold out. Major bummer as we have been here before and had EXCELLENT wings and great service. It was a bummer pulling out of the parking lot figuring out where to go after looking forward to it.

Burned grilled sandwich. Crummy tots - how can tots be bad? They were. Slow service when the place was practically empty. But hey the music was good.

This place Rox! Love that Brox is my neighborhood bar! The food is consistently good and the service friendly. It's a bit loud but that's cuz there's plenty of people who are regulars out socializing. Everyone is welcoming and we enjoy sitting at the bar or meeting up with friends. The menu is upscale bar food with different options you'd typically see... several are healthy for those looking for that. They have weekly schedule of events to entertain. Great hangout!

Just to be clear, the service was wonderful. Our server I believe was named Tara. She did a great job! So the service brought the rating up to a three star. The biggest problem was the food we were served. My husband went out on a limb and ordered one of their most popular dishes, the Ranchero Bowl- supposedly had Cheesy Grits and Beef etc.. You may or may not be able to tell by the picture but it is a very shallow bowl so he probably got a cup and a half of food. Very little meat and hardly any cheese grits!!!! My husband is NOT a big eater at all and that little bit of food for almost $15 did not fill him up!! Thankfully I got the Atlantic Cod Basket and was served three good size pieces of fish and so he was able to eat one of those. The cod basket had a side of coleslaw. It was about a teaspoon of coleslaw... I substituted onion rings for the french fries and they were very good. Actually the fish was good too. That was a good thing because as I mentioned my husband was still hungry after he finished his $15 bowl...On the plus side, the food came out nice and hot. Also the pop comes out in cute little pitchers- nice touch.I don't think I could convince my husband to go back.

Went on a Sunday during a browns home game and there was plenty of seating to watch the game from anywhere in the restraunt. The waitress was also bartending and was still very diligent when serving us and was quick. The tvs were loud enough to hear the game and the food was brought out hot freshly cooked not from microwaves or heat lamps

I got a smash burger from here and it was delicious. The smash burger was exactly as advertised. A little crispy on the edges as a smash burger should be, moist and delicious on the inside. The Cheese was fully melted on the edges. It was a welcome change from the traditional burger places. They took their time with the burger to do it right. Good Service, good food, good times. I'll be back.

My husband and I decided to try B Rox because we heard so many good things about this restaurant. So happy we went there. It was wing night so we decided to try the wings. These are honestly the best wings we have ever had. The service from Sam was amazing! She was at our table so promptly. The manager Steve came over to introduce himself and welcome us to B Rox. Steve gave us a complimentary Mac and cheese chicken wrap to take home. so happy we decided to try B Rox. This is definitely one of our favorite places to go out to now in Mentor.MarLeah and David Clark
