Good queso fundido, wish we had been given a little more to account for how many chips were served with it. I had the mahi taco, which was great, very fresh and I like that the corn tortilla didn't fall apart. My friend had the yum yum shrimp and carnitas birria and seemingly enjoyed both. Very quiet chill vibe, service was a little spotty even though it wasn't very busy so understandableFair prices as well!

I was so impressed with the Colorado burrito the first time that I had to order it to go. Unfortunately, I wasn't given any utensils or napkins. And the sauce and burrito toppings were significantly different and lacking which was a disappointment. It would be ideal for to go orders to be the same or very similar to what is ordered in house.

This is an amazing spot with a good ambiance that's perfect for medium-sized groups. The food is tasty, with generous serving sizes, though it can feel a little pricey for some dishes. The service is average--not bad, but nothing to rave about. Definitely try the quesadillas--they're a standout on the menu. Overall, it's a great choice for a nice meal out, especially if you're not on a tight budget.

While the server was extremely nice, it was so hard to flag them down. We had been waiting to order for a while and we could see the waiter chatting by the bar, but we had the hardest time trying to catch his eye. We even tried to put our menus to the side to indicate that we were done looking but we still had to wait a hot minute. The chips and salsa were good. We got the pineapple salsa, thinking it would be sweeter. But it was actually took more of the sourness of pineapple so it wasn't my favorite. The arepas were beautiful and very tasty with all of the different toppings. But the arepas themselves were so greasy that I couldn't eat too much of it. And the birria tacos were delicious, no complaints there!

I visited AVO at lunch for the first time today. The weather was perfect so we sat on the patio. The furniture is comfortable and the space inviting.It's the kind of place that's good for everyone during lunch. Business people, ladies having margaritas, moms with young kids and me and my college age kid.Service was friendly, appropriate and well timed. Portions are good. The flavor of the birria tacos was rich. My companion made quick work of the carnitas. The house-made cherry soda was a great mid-day treat. A thoroughly pleasant experience. N.B. If you're a "soap" cilantro taster, let waitstaff know. Cilantro was used pretty liberally to garnish tacos and the Spanish rice.

I stopped by for a late lunch, I was the only patron in the restaurant. However, happy hour starts in 10 minutes. I ordered 2 tacos. The first was the YumYum Shrimp Taco: 2 crispy fried shrimp, spicy yumyum sauce, slaw, sesame seeds, green onions and 2 radish slices. Although, I despise spicy hot food, I devoured this taco with a side of sour cream to dunk my taco. I melted in my seat. The second was the Carnitas on a flour tortilla, topped with a chipotle garlic aioli, cilantro, queso fresco, romaine lettuce, diced tomatoes, which I dunked into the sour cream, as well. My dance to the flavors that ran across my palette. I enjoyed it so much, that I will try it again today. This beautiful gem is gorgeous to dine in. The earthy tones and texture are warm and pleasant. I can't wait to bring my family and friends. Did I mention there's a patio! There's dine in only, lunch specials from 11-3 and happy hour runs from 3-6 M-F! Don't sleep on this restaurant.I'll get more pictures. I started eating before taking photos. Sorry, y'all, it was soooo good!

We stopped in to have a drink in celebration of National Margarita Day and found the dining area to be quite welcoming. There is a central bar and an assortment of high and low top tables. Many of the bar chairs are missing some feet and are rather wobbly, please be observant when choosing a seat.I really enjoyed my blackberry mint margarita and found it to be both tart and refreshing. The corn salsa is served chilled and was a bit of a surprise but I really enjoyed the flavor as it warmed to room temp.

Really flavorful and huge portions. So worth the price. I got the chicken fajita bowl and the elote dip. The bowl was well proportioned and warm.

Food was delicious, service was good, drinks were also good. It has a nice atmosphere as well.

Had a lunch outing with a friend back in early December. We arrived fairly early for lunchtime, so we were seated immediately. Our server was quite pleasant and efficient, and we placed our orders promptly.We decided to order two different dishes and then share each...I got the Colorado burrito and he got the birria barbacoa tacos. The food arrived promptly and the server brought us out an extra dish of consommé for taco dipping.The birria barbacoa tacos were spicy and delicious served in grilled corn tortillas along with a thick consommé we used for dipping and dipping and dipping. The Colorado burrito was a ginormous flour tortilla filled with sliced flank steak, Spanish rice and a fundido that was hearty, cheesy and filling.I would (and will) 100% return and will certainly be ordering both these dishes again!
